After playing a game or two the other day as aggro and facing a couple of Control / Baku Warriors, in every game, the Warrior flopped down his Supercollider (like showing off his oversized member). As an aggro player, my instant reaction to it is one of : "Arrgghh!! That card is so annoying!"
Not because the card is particularly overpowered, or game breaking or anything to that effect - but simply because you know it basically ruins your whole game strategy and you're going to have a tough time getting around it (if you don't have the necessary tech to hand, such as an ooze, etc).
So I wondered what other cards people had that same feeling about when they see it. I thought I'd think of some other examples:
Skulking Geist - When playing as Recruit / Egg Hunter or Baku Warrior. Nooo! My Play Deads! Or even wors, whe you are playing Taunt Druid. It's pretty much game over if they havent used up their Polymorphs or Hexes... Giggling Inventor - When any aggro deck: "Please hold caller, while I spend my whole turn dealing one damage to my minions to remove this pointless wall..." Devilsaur Egg - "Wait, remind me why I removed Spellbreaker from my deck again...?"
Ultimate Infestation - "Aha! My opponent is almost dead, has nothing on board to challenge my minion and down to last card in his hand! He's doo-... wait, what? Oh ffs.....!"
I'm really happy that Supercollider turned out to be a great card :)
Altough I feel sympathy towards OP (nobody should feel anxious when playing a game), you shouldn't beat Odd Warrior with an aggro deck, it's basically a hard counter.

Heh! Well I'm certainly not demanding a win! Just musing on the feeling of certain aspects of what makes an already heavy counter even more... er... counter-y? :-D And how annoying it is when the opponent [plops down that card/s you've been dreading to see all game.
On the note of Supercollider though, it's even more hilariously triggering when you tech in an OOze and remove it only for them to follow up with a second one right after! AAAHAHHAHAHAHHHAhahahahhahahhaaha...urrghh....Ihatemylife...... :-(
Yeah, the RnG in Hearthstone - while essentially being pretty much the bedrock of the game in many cases - is also one of the most annoying things about many of its cards. It's near impossible to play around some of the sheer unpredicatable nature of some cards like Deck of Wonders or it's precursor, Yogg.
Witching Hour - If I'm not playing disruptors like Cornered Sentry or Hex, this card is just a signal for me to concede when I'm facing a Taunt Druid.
Frost Lich Jaina - It's not that I can't beat Mage decks that include this DK. I just get incredibly tense whenever she's played, knowing what she's capable of. Yes, Jaina--I am shivering and afraid in your presence.
Mana Wyrm, Hench-Clan Thug & Vicious Fledgling - Potential snowball minions that I feel are poorly designed. Why does Mana Wyrm have 3 health? Why does Hench-Clan Thug's life increase too? They're just incredibly overpowered if not dealt with quickly, and most classes don't have the means to dispose of them early.
Most decks right now rely on a super annoying and/or broken card to win.
Druids have the combos that are stupid as hell, a bunch of ways to ramp draw and get a gazillion armor. It sucks when you're facing something like Token druid that can do nothing but defend itself all game, have 3 1/1 left for a second and then OTK you with just these 3 1/1
DKs are getting old and annoying. It's sad when Gul'dan feels like the FAIRerst Dk right now. When hunter and mage use the DK the game stops completely being about the decks and become just about these two cards.
Rogue has a bunch of unfair things, quest and the 2 3/3 that can win games if you don't remove them immediately. Even king's bane can feel unfair/annoying.
Warlock has the happy ghoul and that +2/+2 buff that is completely stupid. Him hetting 2 7/7 turn 3 while also getting a 3/2, a 2/1 and a 3/3 on turn one should just not be a thing ok?
Odd paladin feels so fair right now compared to everything we have going on. My biggest issue is that most games feel grindy and for the most part you lose to something you couldn't have played around or countered anyway most of the time.
Flashback to the KFT and KaC meta (pre raza nerf). I'd be playing hearthstone on 1 screen and watching netflix on another. Just watching Hawaii 5-0 and I hear "Surrender your will, to the Kabal." I'm just thinking about that concede button and preparing my speech at my Rank's funeral. :(

I'm Nate and I enjoy writing. I got kicked off of my school newspaper so I figured I'd bring my passion to my favorite game.
I think Raza triggered a lot of people to the point of PTSD in fairness. Though I was probably one of the irritating few who didnt mind the card that much and enjoyed to play the deck.
But I was well aware of how much some people hated it. :-)
2. Will become 1 mana, deal 12+ damage with lifesteal each turn
Granted, some of my most memorable victories are against Kingsbane rogues. Trying to survive until they've run their deck and then Gnomeferatu that damn card into a insta-concede.
For me annoying cards are the ones that force you to play around them (if you dont have an answer), but while you re doing so, you are driven to a lose - lose situation many times.
If I play control and I face quest rogue I understand that It's just a bad match up and move on.
If I play control and lose because opponent had prince on 2 that is simply not OK. He did nothing to deserve that 20 percent win rate increase. It just happened that card was in the first he drew.
Luckily some of the worst draw RNG cards were previously dealt with like Patches - worst balanced card ever made.

Prince Keleseth. "Oh, guess my chances of winning just dropped by like 20%!"
Same applies for a turn two Wild Growth pretty much. And turn one Mana Wyrm.
Oh and Juicy Psychmelon. "Guess I have to kill the druid by turn 7 or lose." (Yes, I dabble in wild)
Turn 1 Mana Wyrm is never fun to play against. Especially if you don't draw any of your early removal,
Oh I forgot!
Ultimate Infestation - "Aha! My opponent is almost dead, has nothing on board to challenge my minion and down to last card in his hand! He's doo-... wait, what? Oh ffs.....!"

The Caverns Below When playing any control deck.
I guess any DK has that feel but Jaina is worse . With the amount of elementals available the life steal is pretty much free.
Winning!? Nah dawg *Meme-ing!*!! (but also winning)
the stupid rogue quest... everything else is fine
Mana Wyrm - welp, looks like I'm dying to a 1-drop
Kirin Tor Mage - welp, looks like I'm never getting tempo again
Explosive Runes/Counterspell - welp....flip a coin, if you guess wrong you lose
Aluneth - welp, so much for card advantage
Fungalmancer - welp, so much for setting up a two turn board clear
Open the Waygate - welp....fuck control decks amirite?
Soul Infusion - welp.....who's ready for a 4/5 Chain Gang, 4/4 Doubling Imp, 8/4 Leeroy, or 7/9 Doomguard?
Kaladin's RoS Set Review

Aggro mage. Wait what was the question again?
That's not true, though unnerfed Raza machinegun is not a control deck?
The goal of all life is death.

Kingsbane (as a wild Renolock player).
1. You literally cannot get rid of it
2. Will become 1 mana, deal 12+ damage with lifesteal each turn

Great examples for these are 1) Psychic Scream 2) Spreading Plague
