The OP is correct but, as expected, greedy Blizzard worms out of it. Just like when they wanted to kill the Kingsbane archetype, instead of nerfing the legendary, they nerfed its key support cards of lower rarity.
Imagine demandimg free dust from buffed cards, and calling Blizzard greedy for not doing that
It looks really smooth I would say, its still in the beta, and some things need and will happen to make it better, but it looks promising. And its run by the people that were mods here.
but he is not the only problem of wild. The other problem is that is full of rogue with that nzoth shit, he can copy like 30 copies in his deck. THIS IS UNFAIR AND A PROBLEM. Why the fuck blizzard is that stupid when balancing their game?
The current meta's aggro is much reasonable and skill-required than the old ones... think about pirate warriors and force of nature+ roar combo decks. I don't get why ppl are complaining aggro now.
The easiest way I have to spot a bad player is if they, as a warrior, use their hero power before they swing their weapon. This mostly applied during the Pirate Warrior meta but I still see Bomb Warriors and Control Warriors doing it on ladder right now.
It doesn’t change anything for pirate warrior because they don’t run shield slam. Or am I missing something?
There once was a tale of Timmy, Johnny and Spike. Three Magic players.
Timmy liked to have fun and do weird and strange things and just have fun. Enjoying a deck is the most important part for this player.
Johnny likes to make decks and see if he can make an interesting card work. He sees making deck not as a part of card game, but THE part of the card game.
And Spike likes winning and to feel powerful. For the Spikes of this world winning equals fun. If they are not winning they aren´t having fun. They don´t care where the deck comes from, they care if it wins.
This applies to every card game. Now it´s difficult to fit exactly into this and a lot of people have a bit from another, but these are the general archetypes of the players that exist in card games.
Moral of this story everyone plays the game for a different reason, and neither of them is playing the one true way to play a card game. And neither of them is entitled to another player playing the game their way.
It's painful, but it needed to happen. It's still playable in its new form, and it has been a design constraint forever. Had to be done.
The problem though, as others have mentioned, is that it essentially means every spell built around Prep was also nerfed, and we know Blizzard doesn't buff cards (outside of reverting the Molten Giant nerf during HoF).
I generally appreciate your thoughts even if we disagree, but in hindsight this is quite funny haha.

Make better decks if you hate losing to these netdecks.

Legend is, if you don't care about HTC pretty much just casual where your wins count towards your hero total.

Fuck Control Warrior, boring miserable deck, being able to play removal on curve with a value generator to save your ass isn't skill.
