Am, yeah. I also going to mention the obvious Defile, but I'm going to stand here and to defend the warrior's spell. Guys, imagine if warrior gets more "damaged minions" removals/clears or some synergies with friendly damaged minions. Don't dismiss the card yet, there is potential.
This card looks terrible, i had been playing control warrior a lot for the last 2 expansions and this card is not even close to what warrior needs to be great again. If this card was somehow 1.5 mana it would be good, but at 2 mana it looks pretty weak.
Defile does not get through a board of Divine shield minions , this card for 4 mana would get through a paladin board after call to arms that brings 1/1 with divine shield .
Defile is still WAYYYYYY better in almost every single ways .
The card seems pretty versatile. It's no defile, but it does not require setting up train activation and can be stopped when you choose to stop casting it. Also, remember Sleep with the Fishes is rotating.
I think this card is going to be very good simply because of that fact that you get to control the recast which makes it very flexible. It allows you to be able to get the most out of your own board state while wiping theirs (Might even be better than Defile most of the time because it doesnt have the condition of needing a minion to die).... Even at 8 mana 4 damage, thats not far off of Flamestrike in straight stats, but it gets around divine shield and deathrattle.
Seems good honestly, specially cause it's flexible..
I thought we were getting such a card but for 1 mana, and not 2.. , revenge saw play when people wanted more WW effects in the same deck.. if we want more WW or variable WW effects it's better..
deal 1 damage to all multiple times is better in warrior that dealing 3 damage to all enemies..
This card works well against paladin Call to Arms (not the murloc variant)
since CTA summons either divine shield 1/1 or 2 hp minions currently in standard.
A weaker version of Defile but Defile is insanely OP so this could still be good. Would be better if Enrage cards were still getting released or relevant at all.
I don't think its a great card... but it is playable for Warrior. And currently that ain't saying much. What is disappointing is that this bland card is what Warrior gets for its echo card. I mean how obvious and boring could it get. It only, ever so, slightly improves Warrior's current trash decks. This card does not have me excited but just wanting to change the class's name to 'Snorrior."
It's clear that Defile is a better card. But the advantage of Warpath over defile is that you do not need a chain of dying minions.
In a vacuum warpath seems too expensive to me (akolyte + warpath is 5 mana draw 1 card), but there are so many things that can happen (synergies, lack of other removal, etc.) that I voted playable.
Rotface may be far more potent after rotation when the legendary pool decreases in size. If he is, I could imagine Warpath being a viable one-of to activate him in the late game and rebuild your board. Also, there may be more cards that get value out of repeated, controlled damage (akin to Acolyte of Pain or Grim Patron) in the new set.
The comparison to Defile is fair, but being able to interact in between casts of this spell may make it easier to work with. Furthermore, sometimes Defile will only cast once - I've seen plenty of cases where Warlocks have had to cast both in a single turn to line up the cascade effect. Being able to use a single card to generate that much damage spares you the second copy for a subsequent turn. As such, it's hard to judge that comparison right now.
Im sure Dog will test this card in his DMH Fatigue Warrior which is a sleeper deck atm. It shuts down dude pally beats jade druid controlock and even cubelock but ppl dont run it cause it takes too long to rank up. Even Dog himself said he would play the deck more if it didnt take forever to rank up with it.
Well, there will be memes (I'm looking at you Gurubashi Berserker), and there will be legitimate plays, (Acolyte of Pain), and there might even be things halfway between (Grim Patrons in wild, for instance, 9 mana for 4 on the board). It qualifies as a mediocre board clear, going up to 5 all around. Best case, you milk cards from your acolytes and clear their board simultaneously.
As an additional upside, it's not a dead card for Dead Man's Hand warrior, (Not a dead topdeck, I mean) since it has the board-clear utility, and if you're running Arcane giants, you'll be able to get them in use theoretically much faster.
It's an even-cost card, so I'll say that if you don't see this, it's going to be because warriors are running Baku, and can't use this, and not because it's a weak card.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
So, when a warrior uses Dead Man's Hand, what does that actually mean in terms of flavor? Is he the dead man? Does he cut off his own hand? Is that why he has Tentacles for Arms? Does he think that tentacles are actually as good as arms?
These reasons and more are why I think warriors are more mysterious than people give them credit for.

Terrible but Flexible should summarise this card's potential

It's a good flexible card, not incredibly op as defile is just better.
Imagine this against paladins though xD
Top deck is cheat

Will be a lot better if give 2 damage for 3 manas...
I like it, and it'll probly see at least some play, but it feels a little bit underpowered.

I mean it is worth noting a few things.
