seems like a card that will just exist in the 10 mana pool for things to evolve into or transform into by some other card effect. Like King Phaoris on a 10 mana spell
You have 4 archetypes in a single deck: Quest, Heal, Reno and Treants, I suggest you remove two of those, and focus on the remaining two.
Funny enough. When you cut half the archetypes to 2. Then focus (double up on the cards) on the remaining two archetypes, you cut Elise and just make it a regular deck lol
This card is a victim of having to fit into a mold. I'm sure the design process went something like:
So Warrior is an Evil League Class
Every Evil League Class has a "scheme" card in it
All scheme cards upgrade by 1 (therefore we cant make it upgrade like 3 armor each turn or something)
All scheme cards start at a base of 1 (therefore we cant make it start at like 7 armor and upgrade each turn)
All scheme cards start out very bad for the mana and get better the longer it is in your hand (therefore we cant have this be 0 mana)
I don't see how this card could every be played, It's boring design, too expensive for the mana, and even cards like Unidentified Shield see virtually no play and that card is even better than this scheme card. In my opinion this should be like 0 mana that way you could combo it better with the armor payoff cards and in some weird world maybe you could brew up a miracle warrior list with a 0 mana scaling armor gain with Gadgetzan Auctioneer . But honestly if I had my actual choice, This would not have even been an armor card
Pirates usually have nice battlecries, soooo why should I want to recruit them ?
Because pirates are usually pretty cheap. Therefore, card draw is pretty strong to get that extra fuel later int he game. If you are running too much card draw at 3 and 4 mana for rogue, you are losing tempo on board during some of the more powerful pirate drop turns. So 8 mana draw 3 and impact the board to get tempo back is worth losing a few battlecries
Looks like this will be an unpopular opinion but I don't think this card is good. The only time you are running this is in a deck full of minions that are only beasts. Now go look through the beasts (granted i am looking at standard specifically) Those cards aren't that good anymore. even dropping highmane on 6 nowdays seems not good enough. Not to mention that for consistency's sake, you might not be running houndmaster either. If it is ever a 3 mana draw 1 card, then it is really really really bad. But to consistently draw 3 then the deck is probably bad.
This is all stated before we see really any of these lynx cards, which will obviously have some beast synergies. but right now I dont see how this could be a card in a top tier deck
Rogues play this and the Thug. Every time they attack, they can create a minion or buff an existing minion.
This will clearly see play, and you know other Pirate cards are coming.
The problem is. at 2 mana. It is more clunky than Hench Clan thug is. If you have to hero power on 2, then play this and attack on turn 3. That is ALOT worse than Hench Clan Thug. So Even Rogue seems like it could make it less clunky so you can hero power on 1 then play this on 2. But then you can't play Hench Clan. I agree with whoever said that it almost seems better in Wild Warrior because of N'zoth First mate. But the 2 drop slot is already really good in wild pirate warrior

the +2/+6 steed was insane so if they dropped the power level of it by making this card then this is decent

LoL, like you, I also like to pretend Priests in Wild are not playing Barnes

I think he was using the '>' as an arrow. Suggesting Da Undatakah with Recurring Villain would keep summoning itself

Well the deck is sort of built around Princess Talanji since you are running Stonehill Defender , Seance and Bone Drake so it would be hard to replace her.

The zoomed in card art used looks like the tauren in smiling and it doesnt look like it matches the actual card art

It is shown in the video. You get a 4/6 taunt, rush, stealth, poisonous
