I am intrigued to know what memes people are using Zola for.
Go look up Dane HearthStone youtube. It is wild only, but he does some really interesting stuff like infinite value Zola mage and dead man's Zola warrior. He is also just a pretty funny guy, which I appreciate.

I encountered a deck almost like that last week and been trying to recreate since with what i remembered. Don't think it was that exact deck, but i was lucky the opponent milled the DK, that probably allowed me to beat him after a long, long game with many Reno's being played against my deathrattle Hunter.
DK Rexxar probably saved me with the minions i could create in this extremely long game. I wanted to concede all the time as i thought the Reno's would never stop, but i just was to curious what other cards he had in his deck.
Can someone tell me a sober opinion on weather its worth crafting Aluneth right now? Do I have to be a big fan of Secret Mage to enjoy it? And is it still performing well on ladder? I feel u don't see it that much these days. and it seems to have faded to the back of the top lists... what's ur take?
thnx
The deck is losing power atm but it's still a very solid option for ladder, and aluneth is a key piece for that deck so if you enjoy secret mage and want to play a lot of that then go for it, you can for sure hit rank 5 with it , I would recommend going for the list with more burn (The one that runs 1 o 2 Firelands portal and a pyroblast) as it's imo more solid and you can get easier wins vs cubelock and raza priest.

Do u think its still worth it if I think normal secret mage is a little dull? thnx

What do you mean by normal?
Well secret mage before Legendary weapon, that draw shitloads of cards, would be the 'normal version'. ;)
Nah that deck runs out of cards super quick you need the alu to refill, you can reach 15 and maybe 10 but I don't see you going past that without the weapon

you are misunderstanding me... What I am saying is, That I probably will not have that much fun with Aluneth secret mage, If I did not like secret mage very much in the first place...
Oh ok sorry, well is pretty much the same deck, you now run lackeys and corridor creeper and the deck feels more solid cause of explosive runes and aluneth but in terms of gameplay is pretty much the same stuff

Thank u. :)
My initial intention was to craft Umbra for cube... But I don't feel cube perform that well anymore since everyone tech up against it...
So now I'm actually leaning towards maybe Crafting Sonya, since I like Rogue and she seem's like She could be a fun and decent card.
good call. if you have zola as well, you can get some infinite stuff going on. I wouldn't craft her as a priority though. Just standard tempo, with saps and sonya is one of the best decks.
So, what do u guys think, is it worth the craft or Not? Thanks in Advance...
Seems you can play the deck without as it can be replaced with Faceless Manipulator, maybe try that first before you decide on the craft. If you then think its worth and it improves the deck enough, you can still craft it.
So far the card has barely been used since its release, so it might be a hype that ends again soon.
I'm so in love with Vol'jin's lore and character that I would really really like to add him to my Reno Drazakus deck. Has anyone tried him lately? I feel he could be a nice adition in the current meta or am I just blind because of my desire to use him?

I did some research to try to update his tier, but he is played so little, almost nobody knows how he is doing atm! However, his winrate at lower levels is decent!
You are entering uncharted lands! He has limited synergy with the deck, however, and with cards like Entomb, Lightbomb and Prophet Velen being on the bubble for Wild Razakus decks, it might be difficult to find a spot for him.
Assuming I won't play wild, which I won't whatever you may say, should I dust The Curator? I don't play him in any deck and don't see that happening soon and I could use the 400 dust.
I think you answered your own question.
You don't play wild, Curator will go to wild. Wouldn't do it untill the rotation unless you need the dust tho.
I'm sitting on about 5,000 dust right now and I'm at a bit of a crossroads. I don't own Patches and I'm not willing to craft it so close to the rotation, so I've mostly given up on this meta. But I still would like to add something to my collection than makes me more competitive in the short run and has some staying power for future expansions. Here are some notable gaps in my collection.
Ideally I'd like to add a classic card because they have staying power, but I'm open to crafting something from Un'Goro or KOTF, too. Here are the most relevant cards I'm missing from those sets:
And all of the princes. And lastly, moving onto Kobolds: Sonya Shadowdancer, Val'anyr, and Aluneth are the most interesting of the bunch.
I'm not really tied to any particular class, though I do have an affinity for Shaman, control Warrior, and control Paladin, none of which are currently viable. My brain says to go with something classic and tried and true like Bloodmage Thalnos, but that just sounds so boring! My heart, on the other hand, says to gamble on control Paladin becoming viable and craft Tirion Fordring and Val'anyr (which I absolutely love).
Please help me make a not-so-terrible decision! My resources are limited.
You can't go wrong with Tirion, especially if you like control Paladin. I'd go with that and probably Bloodmage, because he can be used in so many decks. Or, if you are really wanting Control paladin, then Val'anyr would be another great craft. Finally, save the rest of your dust for the next expansion (since those cards will be much more important as we are losing so many others).
I think Deathwing would be another good craft, especially if you like control decks.
Finally, I would recommend....Deathstalker Rexxar. He is just sooo much fun (opened it in my original pack openings for KFT and he's been in almost all my hunter decks since then).

Quit complaining and just have fun with this game!
You have a deck/archetype on your mind? Just craft the cards you would use there. You have more than one deck/archetype you'd like to build? Go for the cards in common between more of them, or the most important ones if you feel like making a choice and putting apart one or few decks/archetypes in the list. You DON'T have anything in mind? Well, just wait till you have. It doesn't have to be a meta deck, that's not what I'm saying, just a deck you really want to play.
D'ya wanna play Control Paladin? Well think of (or find out) a probabile list and start from there. Yes, resources are limited, but ehi, 5000 dust is not that bad indeed, and if you already got a good collection, as you say, it's a lot to build some decks from. Just don't craft a bit of these and a bit of that in each class and playstyle. And that's not because is straight bad, but because you would then spend much time not playing or playing decks you don't want to play or cheap incomplete decks (not talking about tier lists, but of that moment when you say: well, I'd really need this card here, if only I could afford it!).
That said, if you state your goals in the game, it will be more clear what you should do. 'Do I want to get to Legend? Rank 5? Rank 10 or below?'. Open possibilities just vary a lot when you are trying to build a deck that could make it up to Legend with not so much grinding or just a fun 50% (or below) wr deck to play around rank 10/5. If you want to stay real high, you would need to vary your decks more often (even extablished archetype will change many cards since the beginning of an expansion till the next one) than a casual player that just enjoys xir old Control Warrior/Midrange Shaman/whatever adapting to the new cards rather than to the changing meta.
You should note, though, that when I play Standard is mostly with T1 or T2 decks when I'm enjoying the meta, and the part about homebrew is more true to me in the wild environment, where I've kept playing the same decks (changing one or two cards) for about two expansions (some decks since Un'Goro - when I started playing Wild a bit - some since KFT and until now).

I imagine there's some fubn shenanigans with Brann Bronzebeard in wild, lol

Very nice guide, Im a proud owner of 15 Standard Tier 5 legendaries. xD
Hi guys just got a golden Lynessa! Does anyone have a viable decklist they can share with me? I dont have the quest but i can craft it.
Wouldn't do it untill the rotation unless you need the dust tho.

From the classic set:
Tirion Fordring
Grommash Hellscream
Bloodmage Thalnos
Harrison Jones
Cairne Bloodhoof
Deathwing
Ideally I'd like to add a classic card because they have staying power, but I'm open to crafting something from Un'Goro or KOTF, too. Here are the most relevant cards I'm missing from those sets:
Sunkeeper Tarim
Sherazin, Corpse Flower
A few DKs: Deathstalker Rexxar, Valeera the Hollow, Thrall, Deathseer, and Scourgelord Garrosh.
And all of the princes. And lastly, moving onto Kobolds: Sonya Shadowdancer, Val'anyr, and Aluneth are the most interesting of the bunch.

I'm currently running Tirion and Deathwing in a midrange paladin, if that helps. Deathwing is strong against cubelock.

Just my opinion on the cards you listed...
Of the Classics Tirion Fordring, Bloodmage Thalnos, and Cairne Bloodhoof will give you the most play
If you play Paladin Sunkeeper Tarim is a MUST
Prince Keleseth is VERY strong, BUT i would wait till after rotation to see how he performs without patches
and Just for fun... I crafted Deathstalker Rexxar and have never looked back... too much fun there
