yeah mate the deck doesn't really have any early game stuff. it doesn't have any 1 drops. you could maybe add that lynx or something?

see usually I let the faster decks hit me a bit and then I drop applebaum and then try and get that scalehide combo off asap for sustain.

hunter decks mainly are control killers at the minute though, so aggro decks tend to have their way with us. If you are in an aggro heavy meta picket at the minute, I'd suggest playing something else.

I'm playing control shaman and a more agressive overload deck with electra at the minute and I've not lost a game since start of new league.

i always play to counter aggro at the start of a season though. then once you're at the high ranks and you start seeing more control decks, switch to hunter then.

This deck really is meant for healing through bomb hunter and outlasting control warrior, while still being better at rogues. proper aggro decks will still smash you though, hunter just isn't well equipped to deal with stuff like murloc shaman.

posted a message on Nerfs are not the solution- Buffs are.

I think removing something that is too dominant to allow for newer things to break through is a good idea. that thing has to have been dominant through multiple expacs though the way baku and genn were.

I'm also on board with buffs, I mean why not. would be cool to have some cards become viable and shake things up a bit.

at the end of the day though if it doesn't shift more of the new set, they probably won't do it.

I'm playing a version without him, but it's not mono mechs. it's more of a beast/mech hybrid death rattle deck. I would however even have him in my version if I had the card.

In this particular version he is much more important I would imagine as you don't have the rush minions to fill a similar roll. Shaw is one of the best cards right now for aggressive and mid range hunter decks. he's only not good in masters call decks as it has anti synergy.

I can send you my version if you like in case you want to build something without him for now. My version should ideally have Shaw in it as well though, and also Da Undertakah is another card I want to add, but don't have yet.

I would maybe drop 1 elekk for a 2nd copy of far sight and also try and add elysiana.

I honestly think it might have a lot to do with how the numbers go this year.

I do expect something slightly groundbreaking, though. The dip in sales last year probably scared them into pushing for some kind of new game mode or something. Maybe that's the new single-player stuff they are about to unravel. Maybe it's just smarter development with fewer meta-breaking cards that have to be nerfed or removed entirely.

Ideally, in a dream world, I'd like to see them announce a complete overhaul of Classic and Basic. The game has been around for five years, and they have a much greater understanding of what works and what doesn't than they did when Hearthstone was originally developed. The classes have wildly uneven core sets and hero powers; smoothing all that out would make future development less of a crap shoot.

2 vs 2 mode would be cool. You build a deck with a friend so both of your decks have synergy with each other. I mean this initial idea is flawed because you'd need have a person to build a deck with before doing it, otherwise if it was all random match making it would probably not wield all that great results, but some kind of co-op mode would be great IMO.

maybe an arena type system where you have to draft cards, but teams of 2 or 3 players are added to a team randomly. Not sure how the card selection would go down, but I'm sure it would be pretty original to have team based gameplay in a TCG.

actually dude I'm coming round to this portal idea. it's not half bad in a slower match up's. sorry for doubting you. I still think 2 elekks is over kill though mate. ha ha.

EDIT: it reminds me a bit of how strider worked in miracle rogue, I guess it's a very similar mechanic.

yeah if I got blood lust I'd try and use it for lethal or to trade or something. I did an electra into visions yesterday, got rain of toads and blood lust back and could play the rain for zero mana. so the opponent had to answer my board or loose next turn.

mostly with hagatha you just have to get used to playing with her I find though.

Hagatha is better in control decks with fewer minions. there is no way around it other than don't play hagatha in a minion filled deck. You just have to be extremely careful when you play her, and constantly doing the maths to work out if you will over draw. however if bombs are still prevalent, sometimes getting a full hand is not a bad thing.

however, some people were running her in murloc decks a week ago, but she's been cut from the more aggressive ones now, and is only ever used as part of a come back mechanic.

I guess you just have to be more careful about playing her, you will have to take into account your hand size, how many minions you have and how many spells you will be getting back.

I have been having similar issues with my plot twist zoo as it's such a new idea, you can often be overdrawing by turn 4. it's completely mental.

I 2nd him. I seen parish bishops version of this on day one. he created it as far as I know. I only think portal demons are good if you get them randomly during a game. I wouldn't put them in my deck.

but you can do what you want, man. if you find them fun and they work for you then that's great. just personally wouldn't fill my shaman deck with demons. not only is it just wrong from a lore perspective, but there are better ways to run a shaman.

This is mainly down to my tastes though. Like I say if it works for you and you like it, then more power to you.

also elekk is way too slow of a card. it works in warrior because of how tanky they are, but it's not worked for any other class. I crafted 2 of them day one of boomsday and I dusted one of them again a few days later as they're just too, damn clunky.

I would at least cut 1 elekk.

if you want elleks, never run more than one of them. top decking two in row? no thanks. it's nearly as bad as double top decking witches brew in control shaman (which is why you should only run one and then have other sources of heals)

it's an 8 mana card. how is this a problem? if it wasn't for walking fountain then control shaman wouldn't even work. the only issue is aggro decks trading in baby minions and healing you back up to full.

aggro decks shouldn't even be alive at 8 mana. they should have won or died by then.
