Sure, there are some legs i disagree on, but don't we all.
Anyways i really appreciate the effort, thank you :)
Thank you! I try to find eggs several times a week, please feel free to suggest some, including decks where card fit/don't fit! Some of the more surprising placements are actually recent changes which might have happened ahead of the common perception.
I would say no. Or wait till the meta settles down or changes at least.
I pulled him from a pack during KoFT and thought he was complete and utter trash. Held onto him for a bit and then dusted him. This was before they changed it to where you can no longer get duplicate legendaries though...

This cannot be true, Blizzard introduced the no duplicate legendaries before KoFT.
I wouldn't craft him just because he is not irreplaceable in any deck, and I value my 1600 too much to craft some unnecessary legendaries. He's ok in 1-2 decks you could potentially play, but not craftable IMO.
I think there is more usability for a legendary like Zola the Gorgon which grants somewhat simillar effect (actually maybe better since no restrictions) and will might see play at one point.
So, I'm laying out my options on the best way to spend my dust this season. My goal is to create at least one Tier 1 "laddering" deck so that I can consistently hit Rank 5 for my free golden epic every season. I'm planning a more detailed post about this later, but first I have an important question:
Is it worth crafting Keleseth if I don't have Patches?
I don't want to craft Patches since he rotates out in April. I play a decent amount of Wild, but it is usually more fun (e.g. Dane) decks, not aggro. I understand that one of the big values of Keleseth is playing Captain and pulling a Kele-buffed Patches for a serious tempo swing. I'm not sure how well Tempo Rogue (and other Kele-decks) work without this synergy.
Honestly, I was in this situation as well and I really wanted to hit rank 5 season... I crafted both... sad to have caved to the Patches pressure but it is honestly one of the best legendary in the game right now. I like Keleseth and truly appreciate cards that require creative deck building... not the most popular opinion of this card, I know.
From my experience, Patches is crucial given the tempo of this meta (especially since most decks in 15-5 ranks tend to be aggressive decks, in order to grind matches quickly). I would say Patches is arguably more core to tempo rogue than Keleseth. I have gone streaks of games where I never even see Keleseth and still have great win rates. Without Patches, on the other hand, it would be really hard to fight for the board when your opponent does have Patches.
I wouldn't do that. Patches is one of the main reasons Kelseth is good in the first place. no Patches means no Pirate package which begs the question if Keleseth will even see play at all. Plus, Keleseth gets worse with every good 2-drop released.
Aggro Paladin already doesn't run it because Call to Arms + Knife Juggler is much better in general. It's not even necessary in Zoolock anymore since you can conveniently run Vulgar Homunculus and Demonfire.
The only deck that's really powerful with it atm is Rogue and that deck relies heavily on the pirate package for early tempo. I would wait for the rotation on Keleseth and try other decks instead. If you have a lot of dust you can try Cubelock for laddering. that deck will likely be around for a long time (unless they nerf it) and if that's too expensive just try and strap together Aggro/murloc pally.
I don't recall a tier 1 deck that runs Keleseth without Patches, but there are several decks that runs Patches but not Keleseth (Aggro and Murloc Paladin are great exampels, both are at the very top of the tier). I understand your reluctance to craft a card that will soon rotate, but Patches is still a better craft that Keleseth IMO. Since you already have Tarim (I had a quick glimpe at your collection), why not play Aggro Paladin rather than Tempo Rogue? You need the Corridor Creepers anyway, and they are already a must-craft.
During KFT, keleseth could make a great zoo deck for any class, but they don't work as well in this expansion. I never crafted patches and did just fine with my decks. If you like deck crafting, keleseth is a great card as you can build entire decks around keleseth. If you're just going to play the meta, he's not near as good as he was 2 months ago.
With the meta somewhat settling, I'm ready to spend my hard-earned dust this season. I am F2P and have been playing since Blackrock Mountain. I enjoy playing "fun" decks, but I'd like to craft at least one Tier 1 deck for laddering. I want to reach at least Rank 5 consistently to build out my collection with the free epics. I'm currently playing with Mill Rogue (I like the challenge), Secret Mage, and a few other tweaked decks.
I looked at the current meta decks from the typical sources, and listed out my missing cards from each. I'm omitting that spreadsheet here to keep things concise, but it included all the typical Tier 1 decks. I then put together three "packages" that I can choose from to craft this season. Cubelock didn't make the cut since I am missing too many cards to even have a chance, which is too bad since Carnivorous Cube looks so fun in general, and Bloodreaver Gul'dan is just a good card, but I am also missing both Voidlords and the weapon.
I have about 2800 dust available, which is how I sized the packages below. I could go nuclear and DE my extra goldens for a few more thousand, but I am choosing to avoid that.
Razakkus is a way more fun deck to play IMO. I have nothing against aggro decks, but aggro pally in particular is quite boring to play. Spiteful priest was more of a fad that's already dying down.
Even if you are on a very tight budget, you can always just disenchant wild cards once the rotation happens.
So a few days after the expansion, I realized something: my Paladin decks suck. Then I look at my collection and I also realized: I don't have any decent Paladin cards. The only Legendary I have is DK Uther, and I don't even have the budget to play Exodia Paladin (and next rotation year is gonna be in like 3 months anyway).
I'm just a filthy F2Per with some dust saved up, so help me decide what to craft. I'm not looking to grind to Legend, I just want something that's fun. Much prefer memes to netdecking, thanks.
Thanks guys. This has been very helpful in my decision making. If I craft one of the two, I'm currently leaning towards Patches instead of Keleseth to enable Aggro Pally based on your suggestions. I just started a new thread to try and decide between crafting cards I need for 1) Razakus, 2) Aggro Pally, or 3) a bunch of epics including those for Spiteful Dragon Priest.

Two Call to Arms seems the way to go for expensive cards. You can make a pretty decent fun deck with just that and a bunch of low costing minions! :)
Notes: Edit: the merge got screwed up as a number of posts were written as I was working on it. I hope it is all clear now.

With no information on your collection, rank, goals, deck you're looking to put him in, etc how do you expect to get any good answers?

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

I crafted Keleseth for my Zoolock last expansion, but right now that deck is in the gutter. I wouldn't bother right now.
I agree with what others have said so far.
spiteful priest is the best budget deck for laddering right now. you're probably best off crafting patches and tarim for aggro pally tho.

I've gotten some great community input from a previous thread I posted on Patches the Pirate and Prince Keleseth, and I got good ideas from a separate post on Prophet Velen.
