This feels like the longest they’ve ever waited before a new set release to start revealing cards....
I'm actually happy about that... when KFT was teased a month in advance (with the Ticking Abomination reveal) it was long grueling process and killed the hype for me with how long it was between announcement and expansion.
Just my two cents... Edwin is the only really consistently played Legendary on the list. The rest are all heavily Meta dependent. Harrison and Black Knight are simply tech cards that see niche play, but definitely nice to have for when the meta demands it. Jaraxxus may see play again with the rotation of Bloodreaver Gul'dan.
Edwin VanCleef Al'Akir Lord Jaraxxus Harrison Black Knight Cairne
TL:DR Edwin VanCleef is a super safe craft... I'd save your dust and craft the others when you need them for a deck that requires them.
Wild guess... everyone get in here... is it... Grim Patron? first turn you play it... second turn whirlwind and + 1 unit... third turn... another whirlwind + two additional units?
The difference between Ragnaros the Firelord and Malygos (as per your comparison...) is that Ragnaros was a powerful card that you could LITERALLY throw into any deck. Same with Azure Drake... Same with Sylvanas Windrunner... They were very powerful (not a bad thing for a card to be powerful) but they were also overused because they were neutral and could fit basically any flex spot in a deck...
Malygos requires you to build your deck around it... it's not a card you can just throw into a random deck and expect it to perform well.
Personally... I don't think Malygos needs a HOF... the classic set NEEDS powerful legendaries that will impact the meta from time to time.
Decent Shaman early game, probably not worth it in general though.
Given that it doesn't say random, will it not summon duplicate totems? If so, Windshear Stormcaller says hello.
It is random I believe. The announcement video doesn't show a selection option and in the video there is a spell power totem on board and the spell produced an additional spell power totem
We also have Skulking Geist for a few months... Until then I doubt this card will see any serious play... then maybe some shenanigans can arise out of this card

Pretty certain crafting golden just ensures you have the golden versions of the card, but doesn't get you any extra dust in the long run.

Edwin 100%, no regrets, don't look back. He's played in so many rogue decks and will continue to be played in them.
