How exactly does an 8 mana hero made for control or tempo decks fit into a purely aggressive deck?

That would be too much. The point of Death Knights is to change the way the hero plays and to inspire people to design different deck types.

You can add Armorsmith to pull of combos, but your suggestion would make it broken.

Nope, because it also damages your hero (and you ve already lost Armor Up!)
