I used alb987's list. He recently won the Wild championship. I think it's the best version right now. Jeeves is mvp, it allows you to empty your hand without getting punished because Jeeves is such a powerful draw engine.
Damn meta is tough this month, or i'm soft. Went to 11 and 4 stars with Renolock multiple times, but the floor boss was always something i didn't normally expect (deathrattle hunter, astral communion druid with coin and innervate in opening hand and Deathwing topdeck and such). I probably shouldn't play a deck so slow that low on the ladder. Made it to 10 with Miracle Rogue. Now on to 5 and then it's meme time :>
Well done. I'm playing virtually the same deck and i've been stuck on rank 2 for 20 games probably. My deck doesn't have the argent squires i have golakka crabs instead. How useful were your squires? I think pirate warrior is about 15% of my matches maybe more and the crabs have really swung that matchup in my favor. Also helps vs. aggro druid and sometime vs. aggro shaman.
It looks like you won 11 in a row to finish the climb. That's nuts. I haven't had a streak like that since hitting rank 5. Do you think you got lucky? Your matchup winrates are awesome. I found that I'm about 50/50 in mirror Paladin (draw dependent) and the Shaman matchups are really tough, especially control shaman. Running into a lot of aggro shamans which are about 50/50 maybe very slightly favored. Reno decks seem like an easy win except lately they seem to be getting all the draws. Its win 1 lose 1 and i can't break through this wall!
What do you think was your worst matchup and how did you win it on your climb? This midrange deck is growing very popular and i'm seeing a lot of mirrors. A LOT of dudes.
Other thing is that i keep playing the same people over and over again or matched with ranks waaay higher than me. Like, last night i kept getting matched up with top-100 legend opponents when i was rank 2. Are there just very few players on high end of wild ladder? I'm trying to make my first wild legend push sorry for all the questions.
When I really thought about it, Golakka Crawler wasn't winning me games against Pirate Warrior as much as just flooding the board because they either have to waste damage on your minions or leave them alone which lets you use all your ways to buff your board. Also, they weren't giving me enough value in non-Pirate Warrior matchups. So I went with Argent Squires for strong early board and Rallying Blade synergy.
I did get a little lucky at the end. But what I love about this deck is there aren't too many bad matchups, so I felt confident against everything. But if I had to choose a worst matchup, probably Freeze Mage. So I've kept Ragnaros, Lightlord which I had cut for a while, and also 1 Truesilver Champion (before I was running 2 Rallying Blades).
There are very few people at high ranks in Wild, so you'll run into the same people quite a bit, and also people at rank 3, 2, 1, and Legend regardless of which one you currently are.
Thanks for the reply @ReganisPrime. I'm going to try your list and see if can replicate your awesome win streak to Legend!
I too have been sensing that early game could be improved. A lot of my mirrors are running Haunted Creeper instead of Argent Squire in the Golakka Crawler spot. I guess Creeper has synergy with Steward of Darkshire. Do you feel strongly that Squire is better than Creeper?
I was running 2 Truesilver Champion then switched to 1 Rallying Blade and now i'm running 2x Rallying Blade because of all the 3-drop priest and mage minions and for Tunnel Trogg in Aggro Shaman. Why did you switch back to running 1 Truesilver? Is it just for the heal in freeze mage matchup?
Last question: How important did you find Wickerflame Burnbristle? I recently took him out to put in Dr. Boom as another late game threat. Thoughts on that change? Maybe he becomes more important when crabs are gone for pirate warrior matchup? Dr. Boom saves my face from damage and the boom bots are tough to deal with but he hasn't won me many games outright. Ragnaros, Lightlord on the other hand is MVP in some matchups (like Freeze Mage).
dude paladin should be an easy way to legend, I went from rank 5 to rank 2 yesterday, but the season ended
OK, I said it in the beginning of the month, but......holy shit, was that hard, I began to try to push for legend at the middle of the month though, but still....
Anyway I did it today, after a crazy winning streak from rank 3 to rank 1 last star (I lost to the gatekeeper 2 times until I could pass). I spent half the month switching from control shaman, renolock, freeze mage, but in the end, dude paladin prevailed. I was trying the steward of darkshire version, but changed it to the curator package and it paid off

I started out last wednesday with rank 23, because I was sick of Standard. Also I was sick of playing smart priest decks and endlessly long games. By friday night I was rank 1, satuday morning I reached legend for the first time. I do not want to talk about the deck I used, but certain seafarers were involved. I went up to rank 94 and then started playing random decks.
I just reached legend with my OTK dragon druid at a 63% winrate. I reached legend before and in standard but this feels like the most satisfying achievement by far. The deck I used is something I made up entirely by myself and looks like it has no business being at legend
The climb was an amazing experience. There's nothing better than bringing your creation to life. There were even many ladder opponents who friendlisted me out of curiosity on the way :D
Which list did you use? I'm struggling in keep Jeeves. Feels slow vs all the control. Thanks.

Hit Legend this morning with Midrange Paladin. Full stats from rank 5 floor attached. My personal best winrate, 77%.
Well done, great chart!
