Gotta be honest with everyone, i reached rank 6 yesterdey, was 1 star away from rank 5 but just couldnt get to it. Was using Control's pirate warrior haha was very easy from rank 10 to 6.
I had to play 7 final bosses last season until I got legend. Dropped from rank 1 to 3 and 2 more than 3 times. Took me a week or two to grind to legend and a few days to rank 5. Using secret medivh burn mage cuz I'm too cheap and don't have alex

Do you mind sharing your list? I am free to play and would like to see a slightly cheaper burn mage capable of reaching legend.
Last season I was 2 stars away from my first wild legend. I was playing control warrior and aggro/tempo-ish rogue that does suprisngly well against pirates. Here is the list in case someone loves rogue too and wants to try it:
I think I'll try and take Secret Paladin to Legend this month. I'm using a taunt heavy version to fight aggressive decks, and if it curves out well it's still a difficult deck to contain for control decks.
The idea is that you can recharge your hp several times with Finley and Inquisitors. And I'd argue that getting a Steady Shot or Life Tap is incrementally better than a 2 mana 3/3.
Made legend with Token Druid. The metagame between rank 5 and legend was different than my climbs in the past few months. Pirate Warrior is not nearly played as much as before. Lots of Shaman in many different styles. Some aggro, some midrange, some jade-evolve, some control. Also lots of Reno decks. Mostly Renolock and Reno Mage but also Priests here and there. Freeze Mage also put up bigger numbers with Pirate Warrior's decline, as well as Jade Druid. Hunter nonexistent, Rogue and Paladin in very low numbers. I still believe Pirates is really powerful, but the many Shamans and Crawlers apparently pushed them to lower numbers.
I'm rank 1 non-legend at the moment. Been playing mainly Reno Mage and Control Shaman, sometimes queuing up Aggro Shaman for counter queuing. I see SOOO many dude Paladins. It is by far the most popular deck right now. Pirate Warrior and Dude Paladin are the big 2 at the moment, so of course all variants of Shaman are very strong at the moment.

dude paladin should be an easy way to legend, I went from rank 5 to rank 2 yesterday, but the season ended

currently rank 10 with reno quest warrior, wanna switch to freeze from 5 to leg
Made it with this deck, astonishing 70% wr. I put in Deathwing & Murloc Knights and excluded Tirion & Bluegills.

@reno, Why would you put Tarim and Finley in the same deck?
Going to jam some N'Zoth Paladin to legend.
RenoJackson#11673
um because Tarim is so good because your hero power becomes 2 mana draw a card and summon a 3/3...
The idea is that you can recharge your hp several times with Finley and Inquisitors. And I'd argue that getting a Steady Shot or Life Tap is incrementally better than a 2 mana 3/3.
