Could be potentionally fun, do not know if it will be the most competetive deck though. In wild might see a bit of experimentation, but standard wise I don't see it.

I thought so too that secrets + spellstone being even will potentially make even secret hunter a thing.
Problem is that you'll be missing your 1 drops to pressure slow decks (they can just ignore your secrets) and subject 9/Master's call so you don't have any refill either.
adding to the above poster said, hunter's mark works mainly because of hunter's access to Candleshot. an even hunter doesn't even get access to it, so 2 mana hunter's mark is potentially just a bad card in that deck
In Standard it will be flat out inferior to non-even Hybrid Hunter. Give up Master's Call, Subject 9, Dire Mole, Springpaw, Animal Companion, Kill Command, and Tundra Rhino for a 1-mana hero power that has no board impact? You have to be delusional to think this is OK. And since Hybrid Hunter is taking a significant hit, this makes it clear the deck is gonna be mega-bad.
In Wild, it will be fun to give it a spin, just to dust off Steamwheedle Sniper and an Inspire card or two. But even then, it won't be broken enough for Wild. Big Priest will get a good laugh.

Master's call is not even good in a deck with things like Genn Greymane which is not a beast.
I'm actually laughing at the current results (52.4 vs 47.6). Why would anyone think that it'll work? :-\
It's going to suck. What's the game plan? T1: deal 2 damage to the face, T2: secret, T3: HP+secret, T4: secret+secret, turn 5: concede? If this can be defined as "being a thing", yeah it will be.

Simple zuljin rexxar and spellstone are busted as hell. Its auto win vs any slower deck that aint combo deck and odd rogue and even shaman are getting nerfed
No. A 1 mana steady shot isnt worth losing so many good cards for, since it doesn't have a way to impact the board. Even tank up is useful for reckless flurry and shield slam.
You take two of the most powerful cards in the entire game out of the deck Kill Command and Animal Companion. It will get blown out of the water.
Yeah after playing with and against hunter i would say that kill command closes the game 70% of the time. Ugly op and overused card i wouldnt be surprised to see it go into the Hall of Fame . Is it possible for a basic card?

Res Priest doesn't give a hoot about the Secrets, can clear spell stone, and Zuljin, and one shots the Hunter. It will take a bit longer for Mecha'thun decks to get there, but they will inevitably win. And slow Mages can deal with every threat that Hunter can put out. Far from an auto loss.
That leaves only the dim-witted Warriors who can't beat Rexxar. Too bad. Dim wits are supposed to lose. It's called justice.

Not much to add to this comment, it sums up my opinion perfectly. The only benefit you get from 1 mana steady shot is turning your deck into a burn deck, or basically hyper aggro. It's not like Odd rogue/paladin or Even Shaman where they can leverage the board to win. All the other aggressive hunter cards are odd, so what you end up with is a deck that can run all the value oriented hunter cards, but without a value hero power. Right now the reason hunter is strong is because you can run an entirely aggressive deck, and then switch to value if you need to. With even hunter you can't go aggro fast enough, and you lose the value of the turns where you hero power.
i think it might work solely because secret hunter is good. but the regular version with Subject 9, and Masked Contender will still be better just because the cheap hero power will not be all that exciting, especially considering that turn 6-7 you have Deathstalker Rexxar which will just change the hero power back to 2 mana, so you wont get very good value out of genn, unless you decide not to play rexxar which is a mistake.

You will be able to play most of core cards from secret hunter with genn. Maybe it will work?
For now, im playing even beast hunter, and it works not that bad:

Maybe with secrets it will be EVEN a meta deck? What do you think?

It will be viable for sure, but I think "classic" Secret Hunter with Subject 9 will be superior, and fill the same place in the meta, in both modes.
However: Steamwheedle Sniper becomes a very interesting turn 3, with threat for more. Garrison Commander as well.

It might be decent cause corpsestaker exists but secret hunter without subject 9? Idk
