1: emperor thaurissan. Although he hasn't been relevant in the last 2 expansions, there's nothing less fun than playing a back and forth game for 15 minutes and then losing the game cold turkey for not being able to kill him the turn he's played. Oh yeah, and the hundreds of games where I did manage to kill him the turn my opponent played him, but I lose the turn after to a 6 card combo that I literally had no way to play around.
2: every holding a dragon card: thank god theyre finally gone. To most people it's not a big deal, but as a player that usually hangs out around rank 10-20 and plays only original decks, I go vs dragons like 1/3 games since TgT. Losing to a mouth breather playing dragon decks who makes at least 5 missplays each game, and all ins when they're already winning a value game, makes me want to quit. Your opponent playing a 2 4 taunt on turn 2 and a 3 6 taunt on turn 4 literally prevents you from doing anything until like turn 9. It's a real pain in the ass as well because "holding a dragon" isn't even a downside! Holy crap. "heres the catch: You gotta put GOOD cards like azure drake, a 4 mana 3 6 taunt, a 5 mana with the most broken stats per mana cost in the game and a zombie chow that doesn't heal your opponent after zombie chow was rotated out!" REST IN PISS.
3: Ragnaros the Firelord: When i heard the news, I have never been happier! By far, worst designed card they've ever made. (Implosion was worse, but it stayed in hearthstone for way less time and was a class card). A card so fucking broken, it was used in EVERY control deck since alpha. AND IT DOENST EVEN HAVE SYNERGY WITH ANYTHING. It's a card you literally just throw in any deck that plays games past turn 7, that doesn't do anything cool, wastes a card slot, prevents like 10 different much cooler 8-9 mana cards from being played, and worst of all DECIDES GAMES ON A COIN FLIP. But by far, my least favorite thing about ragnaros is the fact that NO ONE ever complained about this horrendous piece of crap because they're too busy whining about pirates and aggro.
But with Ice Lance and Emperor Thaurissan gone, guess it's time to craft some Mad Scientists anyway and continue to struggle with my 8-mana archnemesis in Wild.
Brann (Jade parasite and Drake OP fucked up this card)
Conceal (fun and interactive)
I don't think Tunnel Trogg or Totem Golem are that problematic they weren't before standard anyway, they kept Shaman alive, barely. It's the power-creep package that Shaman got from the dev team that fucked this class up with zero mana 5-5 and 4 mana 7-7, Maelstrom etc etc. Even with the early game rotating out I'm afraid they will remain cancerous.
trogg and totem golem helped turned shaman from shit to tier 0. Aggro shaman was strong with just trogg, but then midrange became insane with 0 mana 5/5 and well as a monstrosity of an early game, especially with bs maesltrom portal and now jinyu. shaman will remain insane for awhile, but at least they are losing SOME of their tools.
Reno. I hate reno cause RNG. You have him on 6? Win. No? Lose. Most part of ur deck is garbage, and reno is super OP. RNG draw is more important in these cases.
This is why also I don't like Finja decks.
Aggro player spotted ^ (or a bad highlander deck player who can't build a highlander deck that works when you don't draw Reno)
or just a combo player that like draw 30 cards every game (not really).
is not about if highland decks works or not (finja decks is not highland), is about how big is the gap between reno (or finja) and the other cards in ur deck.
1. Sylvanas Windrunner The irony of having a Golden one. I'm glad I won't be seeing it Shadowflamed anymore. I'm glad it won't come back after N'Zoth. I'm glad I can now put strong 6+ mana minions without having to worry they will be turned against me. It is a cool card, but it was suffocating too much card design space.
2. Entomb Sylvanas delayed spell version with much more flexibility. Worst card ever.
Not in this particular order but all those cards often times get too stupid in its power level and are often times too problematic for many classes to deal with.
I'm happy Ice Lance goes to wild- fuck freeze mage. Kills you from literally full health without touching the board :/
Conceal was super OP too because if you couldn't clear the concealed board, you know you gonna die next turn or the one late while you have two Hex or Polymorph or Siphon Soul in hand.
Entomb is the most annoying priest card ever. Along side talonpriest (sad it'll stay for the year) so glad to see it go.
Slyvanas was always a pain.
Biggest pain in the ass was Justicar. Boy did she annoy even after dying. That hero power upgrades on Priest and Warrior are the real Cancer. Especially since control versions of both classes don't let any of your minions stick.
Sad to see Reno go however. One of the most unique cards in the game. As a fairly new player when we are given a choice of 500 cards to play from, I want to play everything! And not have 2 copies of something which is great value and all that crap. Being rewarded for the choices we make while deck building is awesome. But I do know how frustrating it is to play against it, it's broken as shit. Just sad to see it go. Well... Atleast he'll be there in Wild
I love reno when he's in my deck but i hate him when he's in others. Mostly because he's a broken piece of a crap. hurrduur use all resources to get someone to 1 hp, hurr durr heal to 30.
The answer to aggro should not be heal to 30, it should be taunt like a mofo until your fingers bleed. Here's to hoping everyone runs good taunts come april from the new set and invalidates aggro decks.
that's one of the problems, stantard hasn't had good taunts in ages, Second rate Bruiser is great when it's on, kind of.. since it just dies to weapon hit+op 1 drop or whatever allowed him to cost 3 in the first place, the othe rproblem was that AoE was literally mediocre but MSg has fixed that to a decent point.
Anyways, i'm also glad trogg and golem are going away, add Imp Gang Boss as well, Imp Gang Boss and me were hate at first sight
edit: i'm also glad Cursed Blade is rotating out, really, not kidding, it means Malkorok will actually always be good now
Absolutely entomb first. Auctioneer second....oh wait.

Happy to see Ragnaros the Firelord gone!

Alexstrasza and Emperor Thaurissan are forever in my heart
People calling Reno cancer? Lmao. It keeps brainless scum from free wins. THAT is the cancer that has plagued hearthstone since naxx.
goodbye Majordomo Executus this card was too op!
Golden legendary cards opened: Ragnaros the Firelord, Auctionmaster Beardo, Kalimos, Primal Lord
aggro scrublord
Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem, Twilight Guardian, Blackwing Corruptor, Blackwing Technician, Entomb, Drakonid Crusher, Alexstrasza's Champion, Thunder Bluff Valiant, Argent Horserider, Azure Drake, Sylvanas, Ragnaros and Power Overwhelming.
just a combo player that like draw 30 cards
is not about if highland decks works or not (finja decks is not highland), is about how big is the gap between reno (or finja) and the other cards in ur deck.
Reno fkng Jackson. So glad to see him go.
1 Anyfin can happen
2 Flamewaker
3 R. Jackson
4 anything having to do with Shaman
1. Sylvanas Windrunner
The irony of having a Golden one. I'm glad I won't be seeing it Shadowflamed anymore. I'm glad it won't come back after N'Zoth. I'm glad I can now put strong 6+ mana minions without having to worry they will be turned against me.
It is a cool card, but it was suffocating too much card design space.
2. Entomb
Sylvanas delayed spell version with much more flexibility. Worst card ever.
3. Tunnel Trogg
1-mana drop snowball cancer.
4. Emperor Thaurissan
Wow much skill. 30+ dmg in one turn kill decks. Such amaze, much Counterplay. Really, fuck you.
5. Ice Lance
Fuck you too.
6. Living Roots
Jade cycle card and aggro fuel.
7. King's Elekk
Fuck T6 Savannah Highmane.
8. Acidmaw
No more killing my Evolve decks you fucker.
9. Thunderbluff Valiant
Because turning totems into busted 1-mana drops is a no no.
10. Power Overwhelming
The most busted card in the Warlock set synergy wise. No need to explain.
11. Quick Shot
Any spell that goes face in Hunter is good to go.
12. Sir Finley Mrrglton
Because seeing Aggro Warrior becoming Warlock/Hunter is terrible
13. Anyfin Can Happen
Murloc Paladin can be lots of fun to play against, wheter you win or lose. OTK Murloc Pally, not so much.
14. Everyfin is Awesome
Call in the Finishers skyrocketed its sleeping potential.
15. Forgotten Torch
Fireballs shouldn't cost 3 mana.
Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!
1. Conceal
2. Power overwhelmig
3. Ragnaros
4. Sylvanas
5. Sir finley
6. Ice lance.
7. Entomb.
8. Flameweaker.
9. Reno Jackson.

Reno.
How someone thought that making a card that punishes people for playing cards, in a card game... was a good idea.
