This weapon gives Warrior's taunt so they're minions prob don't die. You're prob gonna die tho.

This seems decent in rush decks, since it can be a powerful opening play particularly with some weapon synergy.

In such a deck you auto-lose if you run out of momentum, so the health loss typically doesn't make any difference.

It would still make more sense as a 3/2 weapon though: a cheaper Fiery War Axe with a downside.

I love playing this card when trying to complete the weapon quest (not trying to win).

This card is not really competitive... at all.  But I love it.  You play this early or on an empty board and always play it on the turn you swing it and then play the Dread Corsair.  It is also nice to have another weapon in your hand so you can transition into it quickly.

You can actually win (sometimes) running Cursed Blade in a deck.  It feels really dirty and good.  Also it gives your opponent a situation that they are not used to... an opportunity to do massive damage to face toward victory or deal with the weapon synergy auras on the board like Blackwater Pirate.  Its a face race and this weapon is just begging to say "race me and give up your control style."  Some mage players abandon their combos and cast all spells possible.

The only time I'll ever use this card is in the heroic deck I made against Rafaam...
To those who crafted a golden one... Why?

Needs to be a part of the classic set

Ok BLizzard, we all had a laugh you can remove the card now and never print anything like it again! 

so they made a card that no one ever uses and no one will ever use. so why dont they just buff the card? even purify sees play in silence priest.

Why does this card even exist?!

I wish Warrior had Purify, so he can silence this weapon...

Thrice in a roll this came out from my golden monkey-Malkrok when I'm fatiguing......FUCK THIS CARD

If it were 3/2 it might actually be playable since you could dish out the damage quicker to gain control, and then be rid of it. Three charges just takes too long to use.
