Guide coming soon.
That feeling when you burn 12 cards against Razakus Priest.
I have tested the deck with Toshley but had some troubles in early game so decided to go with the Yeti. The deck already has 11 cards of 6 mana or more so it was hard to fit Toshley in. I have used Toshley in this deck (also with the spare parts mechanic) where it was really strong:
Thanks for such constructive feedback. I did not realize the name could be misleading. I will change it soon. I will also reconsider all your replacements. I forgot to mention another reason why I have the black knight is when you get the spare part which gives you taunt it gives you a perfect removal too. I will try make some updates and add a guide today.
The first thing that strikes me about this deck is that it is missing some key Warlock cards like Abyssal Enforcer, Hellfire and Twisting Nether while also having some weird cards like Yeti and Clockwork Gnome.
I will write a bit more when I'm back to my PC as the editor on mobile is horrible.
I understand why it looks weird. Let me explain because I use these cards in Highlander Quest Priest too and it works awesome)
I use Yeti and Clockwork Gnome for 3 reasons: 1) they bring a card to your hand to make Mountain Giant cheeper 2) they are deathrattles 3) Time Rewinder to use Kazakus/Reno/N'Zoth (if I can resummon these as well with N'Zoth I can have another chance of getting a Time Rewinder, I know it is a long shot but if it happens its a big pay off, the other spare parts can be really helpfull too).
I do miss Twisting Nether sometimes, but have enough tech cards to make it through. I use Demonwrath instead of Hellfire. Also Defile and Corrupting Mist are good removals (also the Kazakus spell is good cheap removal, however sometimes you will be unlucky).
Blastcrystal Potion and Siphon Soul help me alot too.
I'll just reply to you instead of editing the comment.
While Time Rewinder might be a very good high roll from Clockwork Gnome, I would still rather use Bloodmage Thalnos as Thalnos is better with Defile and guarantees you a good card rather than some of the bad Spare Parts. I'm a player that prefers consistency over high rolls, so I'm having trouble justifying running Clockwork Gnome over Bloodmage Thalnos. In addition, I would most likely run Abyssal Enforcer and Hellfire over Mechanical Yeti and Corrupting Mist for more consistent AoE and a better Bloodreaver Gul'dan.
Another thing that puzzles me with the deck is the Cube part. The whole point of Cubelock is having the threat of 25 damage burst, but you do not run Doomguard for the combo and as you're missing the combo I feel like naming the deck Cube could be a little misleading. The Carnivorous Cube might be really good as I haven't experimented with it, but as the deck is heavily teched, I would most likely run a variant with the following changes:
Clockwork Gnome -> Bloodmage Thalnos
Mechanical Yeti -> Abyssal Enforcer
Corrupting Mist -> Hellfire
Acidic Swamp Ooze, Eater of Secrets, Carnivorous Cube and The Black Knight -> Emperor Thaurissan, Leeroy Jenkins, Power Overwhelming and Faceless Manipulator
The combo is there mainly because I have a soft spot for it and with Siphon Life it's really hard to dodge 20 damage burst.
Other than that, it looks like a solid Highlander Warlock list.
A card I just thought of that might be nice for the deck if you're going with the Spare Part route is Toshley as it not only gives you 2 Spare Parts when you first play it, but also a strong body and another Spare Part when you bring it back with N'Zoth, the Corruptor. Perhaps replace Mechanical Yeti with it as it's generally better against Control and playing a 4/5 turn 4 versus Aggro is suicidal.
