Road to Playoffs
The Grandmasters Season 1 is divided into 7 weeks of weekly tournaments, where everyone scores points for their results that week. After those 7 weeks the Top 8 in the points standing in each Region will play in an 8th and final week of competition to decide who goes to the World Championship. The bottom four in the points standings on the other hand will automatically relegate from Grandmasters. The remaining 4 players who ranked 9th through 12th remain Grandmasters, but do not get to play for a spot in the World Championships this season.
Below is a graphic that shows both the monetary gain as well as the points players can score each week.

After the patch update I got my 2 packs!
Thijs won btw haHAA
Where Pack?
Cool, can we have nerfs now?
That's what I feel about this "event" exactly
sorry, but ever since they canceled the world championship from blizzcon and put this weird format up for sale i am not interested at all in HS as "esport" especially because they are catering to the "known streamers"
AND WHERE LAMBO, I MEAN PACKS
Lunacy mage appearing multiple times. Imagine if renounce darkness warlock was a tournament tier deck lmao
Not interested. Where is f*** drops??
Thijs wasn't specifically Watchpost Rogue. It was plain old Tempo Rogue.
Yeah, there wasn't even Watch Post synergy in that deck.
RNGMasters 2021.
RNG fest at its best! there were games were the entire thing was ruled by rng, 100%!
I’m also stunned that people are willing to share all those personal details mixed with YouTube history and loads of data for two hearthstone packs!
Don't worry, it's google, they already know everything lol...
Yeah to 100% google knows everything already. Some things you can avoid. Google is not one of them.
All 3 winners brought same class for their decks
Edit: Woops pardon me, Thijs used warlock instead of priest
Kinda funny (and sad) that we’re more interested in the packs than the results of this RNG fest.
What is more funny (and sad) to me is that you are interested in the packs, while saying that it is RNG fest.
I'm still impressed at how Deck of Lunacy, supposedly a meme card, become such a powerful legendary used by everyone at tournaments.
I really hope they don't increase mana cost. For 3 mana I don't know if it will be as reliable. They really should make it so the mana increase of the cards is not always 3 and instead it's a range. That way you can't make your lunacy cards become so consistently good.
That way it wouldn't be unplayable-level. It seems that they're going to hit Incanter's Flow also. It'd be dumb and lazy of them if they kill the 2 core cards of an awesome deck. We can agree it's OP af right now, but it's also one of the most fun decks in years in Hearthstone IMO.
Agree with everything you said. The unpredictable increase means the deck remains true to it's original design. Nerfing the cost of the card means the outcomes of your increase remain relatively consistent and all you do is play Lunacy at a later turn - absolute waste of a nerf.
It feels bad to get absolutely wiped by this deck but it is also definitely one of the most fun decks to ever come out of Hearthstone. A deck that includes every other classes spells and has a good chance to win? Sign me up.
