Perfectly balanced.
Sigh.....
0 mana draw 2 spells, ok blizzard
Absolutely broken. Completely bonkers to have a 0 mana draw 2… that sometimes even can gain you mana. Blizzard designers were smoking some good stuff the day they designed this.
Awful card art, it's a shame the card effect is so good.
What kind of art did you expect for something that's just water?
Suspiciously good. In a spell discount deck you are actually gaining mana and resources.
The support card spell mage desperately needed to be viable. 0 mana draw 2 in that deck, potentially 2 mana draw 2 in a lot of others. It's gonna hurt if you draw 2 minions but...this is an incredible card.
So it is awesome in Spell Only Mage then.
It's good if you hit 1 spell....draw 2 for 2 mana. So it just depends how many spells you're running whether this is worth running too.
i like this, 5 stars
Basically a Pot of Greed in spell-only Mage.
You know, one that you can only play after turn 3, but still.
I really hoped to see some support for spell mage. This will definitely help.
If you use an Incanter's Flow before drawing this, you could even gain mana on that turn. Pretty cool.
You don't win mana, you refresh mana. It's quite different, since you won't gain mana you don't have. It's still an awesome card lol
Oh, for sure.
I mean that if you have a mana reduced Refreshing Spring Water in hand, you could play some other cards, and then play the water.
You'd net mana for the turn. Not go above your limit, of course, but it would enable you to play more in the turn.
This card should have been printed while no minion mage was still in standard. That deck's main flaw was lack of tempo swings compared to other classes. The deck had bad draw, only Rigged Faire Game was good, but it's easy to play around it. Arcane Intellect nowadays is slow, and the other one needs spell damage minions, so it was an unreliable strategy on a deck like that one. Kinda sad for that, I loved that archetypep.
