Quote from Dinomaniak >>150 gold, some brawl changes and 50 dust are an "Event". I'd say it's more of a synchronized event, with getting the paying players' attention for purchasing Blizzcon tickets & packs around the respective time.
You know, I get real tired of people posting while stupid. Think you got it all figured out, then take to bicker or talk shit, but overlook details and adopt a poor perception of what an event actually is. A free Arena run, the return of a fun Arena mode, some new content and a Golden Epic that you can disenchant if you don't need it. It's nice to have small events like this. If we didn't have small events like this, people would feel like they aren't acknowledged by Blizzard.
Guys, please learn to be better.

The effect seems pretty cool to produce some kind of Windfury or Rush effect.
It could trigger effects like "whenever this attacks", like Sand Worm, and in some cases, Overkill effects like Oondasta, allowing you to trigger it's Overkill twice in a turn. Also, it could slam a Poisonous beast into some other minion.
Anyway, all these cool aplications are pretty specific and ideal, but given how generic it is in a Hunter's context in which beasts plague your sight, it could allow for some random trades and to get rid of important targets in cases in which a non-Rush Beast could help if it had "random Rush".

But Witchwood also had two legendary minions per class :o

Liam doesn't turn 1 mana cards into secrets, it turns them into legendaries, that's why it makes sense.

It is due to Tess now being part of your opponent's deck. It happened to me once with Yogg. If Yogg decides to play Treachery, and change sides, he will end casting spells in favor of the other side.

The combo with this card would be to have only one mech on board from a previous turn, and once you hit 9-10 mana, you play Glinda Crowskin + 4 Mechwarper and magnetize this new mech to the one from the previous turn. The reason why this one works for an OTK is because the other neutral magnetic minions cost 5 or more mana, which means you need 5 Mechwarper to reduce their cost to 0, which means that, if you started that turn on an empty board, you will indeed be able to fill the board with huge minions, but none of them would be able to attack right away.

Could be interesting alongside Marsh Drake, if positioned right

Because of the chance of getting it from a pack, and the dust cost to craft it in case you don’t get it. As said before, it is a simple card that would be played on every Rush deck, so not having it makes a Rush deck feel incomplete.

The Duskhaven Hunter is not a beast, so you can't use this spell on it.

True that you can make every deck you want, the way you want, with the gimmicks you want, as long as you have Patches the Pirate, Southsea Captain, Cobalt Scalebane, Bonemare and Corridor Creeper.
