no wonder u can't beat warrior with this deck

Useful comment =/. Did you even play this list?

But FYI few decks beat Warrior anyways. Also Phaoris Druid does pretty well against other decks.

The Hero Power alone is a magnitude of times better than the standard Warrior one, plus you get an extra 7 armour on top.
But even if it was something like "The first mech you play each turn has rush", it would be better.

Tbh, late game i don't care / wouldn't care about getting KABOOM! or Micro-Squad (without rush)...

perhaps even just removing the rush for all mechs would do the trick. A small change, but one that lower the power just enough to make it less oppressive.

I wanna refer to Brian Kibler video again. If you do that there isn't much left on Dr. Boom then just a rondom Hero Power every turn.

I wouldn't even play him then anymore and rather keep the normal Hero Power. I would go back to the old Wallet Warrior with the Grom and Alex combo.

Watch Brian Kilblers video and then you understand why it is such a strong Hero Power.

It makes it so there is no downside playing Boom becasue (in general) you dont lose your regular Hero Power. One Blast Shield makes up for 3,5x your regular Hero Power!

Also your comment does not make any sense. Other classes don't have Blast Shield...

Wanted to hear other people’s experiences with Chef Nomi Quest Druid. I tried it but what I found was that the game was already decided one way or the other before Nomi was playable or relevant.

My guess is that it is unnecessary in 99 percent of your matches and would be better replaced with something that shores up your weaknesses.

Anyone else having a similar experience?

Yup, I tried Nomi and King Phaoris and neither did significant results to warrant their slot (they were there mostly for control matchups).

Quest druid struggles vs aggro and can't outgrind control decks (in my experience only). So why play it? It's fun for sure but...

Quest Druid does fine against aggro tbh. I also play King Phaoris, but not as an extra win con. Only Control Warrior is almost unwinable because all the removal it has...

As a Control Warrior myself I agree on Control Warrior being too strong.

I also agree with Brian Kibler that the biggest problems are the Rush Mechanic (with Warrior already having so much removal) and Blast Shield. The amount of games (against Zoo mostly) i crawled back just because of Blast Shield is just silly. The only decks Control Warrior seems to struggle against is Quest Paladin and in a lesser degree Big (Spell) Mage.

Als this being said tho. If Control Warrior and / or Big (Spell) Mage gets nerfed some other deck and / or card will probably get too strong / oppressive and people will start complaing about that. It will allways stay like this. Game will never be 100% balanced. This does not take away that Control Warrior AND Big (Spell) Mage need a nerf.

PS Concerning Contronl Warrior (Dr. Boom) nerfs. I would go with Brian Kiblers nerfs i guess or close to it. Battlecry: Give your mechs in your hand and deck rush and remove or nerf Blast Shield or replace it so you can give a mech the Vicious Scraphound effect. If you remove the Blast Shield maybe make the Hero Power a choose effect?

I saw enough good replies in this topic, unlike yours. I also saw then many of your 4,377 posts / replies are like these.

That is the last thing i will say about your reply because it only pollutes this topic.

    @dzquetzal

I get what you say and i also agree somehow but...

    A) A good deck does NOT end up as a netdeck per se. As long as it is creator doesn't post it and people don't pick up on it then for most people it will prolly look like a meme deck for most (although it might has very good results).

    B) Netdecking is NOT a process of creating a deck but YES, it does'nt say anythign about the strength. I play 'meme decks' in casual because almost allways the refined decks (the most popular decks most people play) are just better.

C/D) Agreed, but it is still a hot topic for most and not being touched by Blizzard. If they don;t do something about this i guess it will be the downfall of Hearthstone.

    E) Confuses me a bit.. You are willing to lose points / ranks to test a deck, but not for reason you mentioned in D).

And why not do quests in ranked??? There is allways a chance you get a disconnect  or get interrupted.

If we find "netdecks" or simply effective decks the most fun, can you really blame us? Hearthstone is a game where you want to win, and if the deck that lets you win, also makes you have fun, I don't care what you play.

Starting to really hate these topics. We're not all here to play homebrew tier 9-decks. I will not be shamed in saying that I enjoy ranking up, and that I really, REALLY, hate losing. So I went online, and looked at good Shaman decks. Found a solid Quest Control Shaman-list, and made some small changes. Having a shit ton of fun.

If you want to play your own bad decks, find some friends on this forum or in the game, and set up private matches. You can't expect to go into Hearthstone thinking your homebrew decks will beat highly optimized decks, it's still too big of a game for that.

Regarding netdecking, people often don't realize that not everybody is a deck-designer at heart (or even likes to do that at all).
For many, it's learning to pilot a deck and the actual gameplay that's the fun part - and this is perfectly fine (even well, normal).

Of course, making a homebrew that wins (and wins at top level) is probably the most rewarding thing one can do - but let's be honest, there is no room for many such decks.

Why not play the netdecks only on ladder??

Ask yourself this; How do you know the netdecks are the most fun? Did you experiment at all?
