Blizzard done my boy dirty.
How do you feel about 35/35 nerf?
Lol this isn't a meme card?? I came back like 5 days ago, having left around Barrens or so... just about every single player I've queued up against in Wild has been running this and I've destroyed every single one of them with my new-and-improved Mechadin build (side note, holy shit, the Leviathan is insane). 10 extra health is nothing and most of the time I'm slamming down threat after threat while they're still desperately drawing
Still don't really know what to make of Prince Renathal. It does feel kinda cheap when one player has this in their deck and the other doesn't.
It seems that for som of the decks in the game if you have enough cards in your library to fill your desk from 30 cards to 40 without a problem it is worth doing it for the health.
I May be a little bit picky but I would hav separated the tow affects it has into separate cards and made the 40 health not to conditional but conditional so decks that need it half to sacrifice something small but meaningful for it.
This makes tutor cards more powerful and valuable, makes King Togwaggle Druid more menacing because they can play 30 card deck, depletes them faster and steal your cards. It also maybe makes Octosari more playable, because you are more likely to get to 8 mana and drawing 8 cards isn't that hurtful anymore.
The biggest problem I have with this... this should be 3/4 mana hybrid card, no even 40 Health 40 card decks for us. :(
This is nuts in Wild. Combo meta incoming.
no Combo Deck would ever use this card as you want to get your Combo fast and having more Cards in Deck is bad for getting certain Cards faster
I disagree - in Wild there are multiple ways to draw a lot of cards and to draw specific cards. Having more such options allows you to cycle faster and in the same time you have 10 more health to survive while you draw your pieces, and you can also include additional cards which stall/heal you.
Shudderwock Shaman, Hero Power Mage, Quest Mage, different variations of Resurrect Priest, Elwyn Boar, etc. are already insanely OP in Wilde and it has only been a few days since the release of this card.
so warlocks and guff will be out of control till the expac hits or what ? yea f*** this shit
whynot add Priest, most annoying decks with best finisher and hardly any counter?
Did Blizzard just made Amara, Warden of Hope obsolete??? Other than that I can't wait to put together some 45 legendary card decks.
It will probably played a little less, but it is not obsolete for the following reasons:
1. with Amara, you don't have the downside with the 40 cards in Deck
2. Amara heals you to 40 during Game, so she is like a better Reno Jackson, as you can go from 1 to 40 in a bc-scenario
3. A 5 Mana 8/8 Taunt is still good..
I think Reason 2 and 3 are not that important, but i think it will always be a tough decision to make if you want to add 10 more Cards to your Deck of which one is a plain 3 Mana 3/4 to get 40 Health.
5-0 running this card in Shudderwock shaman in wild. It lets you survive a little extra damage from combos and aggro decks early on, and lets you run a normal shudder deck, along with allowing you to add in the new murloc package of the clownfish and the draw 3 murlocs one (along with Mutanus which was being cut due to how top heavy it was), allowing extra aggro. You can also add in a few extra tech or tutor cards in order to completely negate the extra cards in your deck.
Mind if I take a look at your deck if you have the code?
I'm grateful for added Beef to Big decks.
Multiple ways to cheat out stuff in Wild.
It's time for control to SHINE!
The really funny synergy here is with Reno Jackson Yeah, you are less likely to draw it than usual, but healing up to 39 hp is quite neat.
And come on, don't tell me playing a 40 card highlander deck does not sound stupid fun.
How can control shine when combo also have 40 health. Now they're much harder to kill and can put more removal/draw to cycle through 10 additional cards.
10 health doesn't really matter for control when you get milled by shellfish/agony decks for 300 damage. Having 10 more cards can be good buffer against mill decks but those can mill so much more than 10 cards easily.
Okay, what OTK player in the right mind would ever put 10 additional cards into their deck? Even if they put in more draw, it would take much more time mana, and turns to assemble all the pieces.
And yeah, counters to control exist, and that's not gonna change, but this card heavily inscentivises slower decks, like control. Especially in wild, where aggro was out of control for a while.
I'm not saying that This card is gonna create the control meta, just that it helps the greedier value based decks to, you know... exist.
No Combo Deck will use Renathal..
