The mechanic itself can get out of control quite fast, it's a really thin line for this deck from being underwhelming to being oppressive, and we might actually get to see it this year once warlock toolset gets rounded out with expansions.
It feels like they're keeping it underpowered on purpose because it would be hard to balance with the ramping damage while having very strong defensive tools.
I'd rather have them remove this deck from the game. It's stupid. I tried beating it like 5 times as quest priest. Even when I got my ideal 2-3-4-5-6-7-8 curve, I still got roasted before I was able to play quest reward. It's uninteractive and there's not much you can do as non-warrior control deck.
Nowadays when I face warlock as priest, I just concede. It saves me time and nerves.
Similar to jade back in MSG, another 2 curse cards in the deck exponentially ramps up its pressure. It's not a great deck right now but 2 more abyssal curses alone could push it over the edge as silly as that sounds. The deck is decent in a few select matchups and can deal more damage in a turn than two pyroblasts with brann combo turns later on. I wouldn't push it tbh, just accept it as a meh and move on.
Also doesn't really address the hillarious ability to completely negate the deck by having a full hand.
If it becomes oppresive, they can nerf it. For now they just should at least try to make it playable.
they already made it "playable" they literally buffed it the last patch it just sucks right now cuz its board clears are too slow so it gets rushed down or its unable to scale fast enough to kill warriors or paladins before they've developed their game plan, its just not the right meta for it and i hope it stays that way tbh

Is this because Curse Warlock is (too) good or the Priest Quest is (too) bad (slow)… In my opinion it is the latter. Priest should be 2-3 / 4-5 / 6-7 (especially when you compare it with how easy some other Quests are).
I love the deck, but it can’t handle all those broken retard frindly wheelchair decks that are out there at the moment.. HS is boring as hell.. wish decks like this would be more viable

I would say its because they played wrong. I'm playing Quest priest and priest IMO is favoured. Lock draw out the deck really fast and its easy to keep 10 cards in hand as priest meaning no damage. The only variant that priest struggles with is the Jaraxx since you have to answer the board.

Good point (against Curse Warlock). Still think Priest Quest is too slow…
Fuck all players who plays this deck. As several people mentioned, it's really pain in the ass to play against it and I will concede to everyone who plays that shit.
Quite the opposite. The best deck against Curselock is not aggro, it's OTK.
no fuck you and fuck this idea its just a HORRIBLY designed mechanic that should stay buried in the ground

It's so cute you are discussing if Priest is better than Warlock or vice versa in meta where only DH and Rogue exist.

print a 40 health 40 deck card
