Too bad Hunters have 100% winrate against everything. Otherwise if you're just only/mostly queueing into Hunters, you could just play something that counters Hunters.
If only there was a deck that countered Hunters. Oh well!
Idk,
Hunter always seemed to be a fair/doable deck to play against. But maybe because I mostly play a midrange eggpaladin.
There'll be a few, I'm sure. But most people probably aren't determined enough to stick with a 45% win rate deck that gets obliterated by every Hunter archetype, which is likely to dominate the meta.

It was said in jest. If you're only queueing into one thing, it should be ridiculously easy to farm wins.

Soo, Kingsbane is half Dead. More burgle themed spectral deck might still be a thing tho. Odd Paladin lost a lot of power. Shudderwock lost a lot as well they wont get 1 mana shudder that Easy anymore.
For druid. It is druid they still have crazy armor gain and shit. But they are missing turn now. Which can open the possibility of Keleseth for druids actually
They cant get shudders for 1 mana in standard EVER. Its now only possible with Dopplegangster in wild.
yes I sat through this to make bullet points for you.
It's a nice list, but you missed the real reason - buffing cards makes no sense economically. I'm sure the card designers who put many hours into creating Temporus are bummed when they discover they've created a completely unplayable card, but it's a simple business decision.
I'm sorry for druids that BOTH ramp cards got nerfed, that's a tad harsh, especially since there is an anti ramp tech as well. I hate kingsbane so I don't care about the nerf. However, Hunter is still rocking insane midgame with spellstones or cheap deathrattle activators, plus two powerful late game cards. Seems a little unfair.

I'm just summarizing based on the actual video content/Brode's response, not on some speculation about Blizzard's perceived financial greed. I don't intend to start a Blizzard hate chain, I'd like to discuss actual facts and keep the memes out of it. If you'd like to talk about how evil Blizzard is and hates its playerbase, I'm not your guy.

I like how they nerfed all the decks that rekted hunter, but left clearly broken Emerald Spellstone untouched, way to protect all the dust for new Zul'jin card blizz.
All this nerfs show what kind of sleazy this small indie company is.

Druid nerfs should increase the amount of aggro, which should hurt hunter.
What you gonna do, make it 11 mana? Zul'Jin is fine.
A much more simple option would be to limit the number of replayed spells likme literally every other card that's had a similar effect before. Zul'jim is obviiously not fine unless you are literally blind.
I think these nerfs are kind of weird - I commented on the article and got downvoted to oblivion within like 9 seconds.
So I'll say it here:
Saronite is a weird nerf. I've never experienced the card to be oppressive, if it gets buffed and duplicates, it gets buffed and duplicates. The Warlock Omega card is virtually the same mechanic, so wtf is going on here.
Wild Growth - I hate druid, but it's a class identity card, didn't need a nerf. So is Nourish, but I don't think that nerf is anywhere near as bad as the T2 one for Druid, and now leaves a clear open slot for a few months for prince K.
Level Up! - sad that it'll be leaving my Odd Mech Pally build, but I sure as hell am going to have it in my already OP Even Pally deck. A better nerf would've been +2(or +1)/+1 and no taunt. Make it easily clearable.
Leeching Poison - Ok this one makes sense, decent nerf, but will probably be leaving Kingsbane Rogue players foaming at the mouth.
These are WEIRD nerfs. I think it's the first time I've complained about nerfs outside of the Tess one. Saronite just blows my mind. How did Saronite get picked over so many other cards that are so much more broken?

I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.
There we go, Zul'jin - nerf that card instead! I love it, but it's insanely broken. Limit it to 10 spells, or exclude spells that summon minions or something.

Because infinite Shudderwocks is a frustrating experience, says so right in the article. This card does basically the same thing now with the exception of handbuffs.
Shouldn't need to be said but just because something you thought was more broken didn't get touched doesn't make these particular set of nerfs bad.

Zul'jin is basically a 10 mana spell that fills your board with 3/3s,might remove a couple of minions and plays some secrets... Its powerlevel is roughly the same as KTF DKs so it certainly is impactful (Like any 10 mana card should be) but it's nowhere close to being op... There are cards to get rid of the Secrets and if you can't deal with the board it just means that you misused your resources or that you should've finished the game before the card was played... Yes,Hunter is everywhere and I think these nerfs won't do anything other than exacerbate the problem but if you really want to put the blame on a card that would be Rexxar or Cube or maybe the Spellstone but certainly not Zul'jin....

cuz shudderwock is oppressive, too many prince K decks etc.... this is good for the meta. all the changes are imo.

SO saronite gets nerfed becasue a Legendary gets broken with it? Is this how balance works? Even if the card is ok as standalone?

Great cards to nerf, only thing I am missing is decks to keep hunter in check now.
Well, I waited with crafting cards so I have enough dust for full spell hunter. Gonna play that then
