Too bad Hunters have 100% winrate against everything. Otherwise if you're just only/mostly queueing into Hunters, you could just play something that counters Hunters.
If only there was a deck that countered Hunters. Oh well!

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Priest gotta rise in power! Duskbreaker, Mass Hysteria, Mass Dispel and Psychich Scream take care of so many thing in Hunter. Plus they get to heal themselves!
Looks like your options are limited on who to play.
Grumble will never be on the board, it will be in the hand. So from your counters, reckless fury and deadly shot are maybe the only real counters.
Looks like there is enough options after all.
Flamestrike will destroy Shudderwock too because the latter also triggers Hagatha's Battlecry

imo, Zul'jin isn't really a threat. Deathstalker Rexxar is a far more worse card. not only he do 2 damage to opponent minion which can likely clear the board. it also produce some nasty zombeast. this can be achieved in turn 5 if you got The Coin.
while Zul'jin on the other hand needs 10 mana to activate. which means you have to defend your way to turn 10 if you actually draw the card before that.
Because nerfing legendaries means a whole lot more free dust for the user. Small indie company, can't just give away fake digital semi-currency. The devs' virtual children need to eat too.
There's no way to indirectly nerf DK Rexxar; it's a fully self-contained card that generates infinite value. They'll just wait 4 months for the problem to go away naturally.

If this Shuddrwock work around takes off because of the nerfs to other decks expect to see them. Its called a tech card, have you never heard of those?

How many Tinkmaster Oversparks (to counter Hadronox Druid, obviously) do you run in your Deathrattle Hunter?
Can Level Up be used in an Even Paladin deck now? Would it work?
Thinking - Spirit of the Tiger, some 1/1 dudes, followed by Level UP.... if you have even two dudes on the board, you get 2 x 3/3s, plus a 6/6 tiger, plus the spirit itself is still there and must be dealt with. Big turn 6?
There was a thread that must have gotten merged here or just outright deleted, asking why don't they ever buff bad cards? I took the time to write a reply but like I said I think the thread got merged/deleted. I thought this would be useful to some players who haven't been around as long or a good reminder to some who have.
buffing bad cards requires a lot of testing to make sure it doesn't make some new broken deck
this takes away from time/effort needed to release new cards
can be a negative experience for players who leave and come back to massive changes
too frequent of changes disrupt the fine tuning phases of the meta
impossible to NOT have bad cards because strength is relative
sometimes bad cards are important for the game, even if they're not played
sometimes bad cards SEEM bad but can be made good in certain decks or with the release of new cards (a good example now is Raid Leader in Odd Paladin, or Al'Akir in Even Shaman)
sometimes it takes a complex understanding of Hearthstone (card advantage, resources, etc) to understand why a bad card is bad, and that makes you a better player (example in the video is Eye For An Eye)
some players like winning with bad cards
yes I sat through this to make bullet points for you.

Druid nerfs should make aggro better, since it'll be harder to get to Plague/Malfurion as quickly. Druid is still really good. Stronger aggro should make Deathrattle Hunter weaker. Stronger aggro and weaker DR Hunter should make Big Spell Mage/Odd Warrior better. Big Spell Mage/Odd Warrior still lose to all of the nerfed combo decks. I think Priest gets an overall boost, which is impressive since the class was already good. Shudderwock is dead, and I fear shaman along with it.
tl;dr I don't think anything actually changes too drastically. I think things are just more toned down, allowing everything to flourish a little more than they had been.
Shudderwock is dead. Shaman is in a tough place with just even shaman to its name. Kingsbane is probably replaced by Quest Rogue and becomes a tempo deck if anything.
I guess Priest/BSM/Warrior being more legitimate considerations is worthwhile for the metagame.
I still feel like this is the land of Hunter and Druid.
Greed - they used to buff cards until some genius worked out that it will affect their reprint model going forwards.

Other decks will rise to fill the void, and some of those will counter hunter. The new meta is a few hours old, relax.

No point, though they could certainly have nerfed spellstone.

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
just play control priest, they nerfed kingsbane who was the worst mu, u can farm any kind of hunter with it.
Guys I dont think you realize the nerf to kingsbane kills the entire deck. You cant run it now. At least make it playable in wild ffs.
How many Tinkmaster Oversparks (to counter Hadronox Druid, obviously) do you run in your Deathrattle Hunter?

Well isn't this a wonderful Christmas present?
I'm absolutely giddy. Time to play some control!

My mill mage likes your choice.
Time to play some Exodia Mage!
