My predictions on bad cards: The Caverns Below, Lyra, Shadow visions, Open the Waygate, Stonehill Defender, Hemet.
On good cards: Stampede, Dinomancy, Corrupting Mist, Swamp King Dred, Tyrantus (I thought it would be great finisher), Spiritsinger Umbra, Stone Sentinel (turns out he is pretty bad).
I didn't think Spikeridged Steed would be BAD, but I didn't see its true power coming for sure. Similar with Sunkeeper Tarim, which I thought would be too situational. Paladin has surprised me as a whole. Hydrologist is better than I saw coming too.
I still don't think Elise the Trailblazer is amazing in most decks (as I predicted), but I did miss the synergy with Shadow Visions making her actually quite good in that particular deck.
I thought Fire Plume Phoenix would be a staple in Elemental decks, but it's kind of ... not. I thought Cornered Sentry would get played in Taunt Warrior.
I thought non-disco Zoolock would be a powerhouse based on the combo of Devilsaur Egg into Ravenous Pterrordax, on top of all its older tricks.
I thought we'd see a lot more of Stampede and especially Dinomancy. Fortunately just Crackling Razormaw was enough to resurrect Hunter out of the gutter by itself. I knew it would be very good, but I didn't think it would be so meta-defining.
People are using Golakka Crawler more than I expected ... Arcanologist is a bit better than I expected ... Ravasaur Runt actually ISN'T too situational to get used in zoo-ish decks ... and I knew Fire Fly would be a staple in Elemental decks and Quest Rogue, but I didn't see it coming in Token Druid and Disco-Lock. So it's surprised me that way.
Speaking of Quest Rogue, I was very wrong about The Caverns Below. I thought it would suck, but be fun to try to play. Turns out it's not only powerful, but boring as heck.
The Marsh Queen and elemental shaman will be amongst the top tier decks.
The Caverns Below will never see play. and rogue will go to awful tier with the terrible cards it has received.
Lakkari Sacrifice will define a complete new warlock archetype and will be insanely strong, i mean how could it not be? they made 2 legendaries for it!
With the new quest, more midrange options and crazy beast combo's with Dinomancy and Stampede, hunter will finally have multiple, and all very viable decks.
Jade druid will still be high tier deck a and all other druid decks will be unviable.
literally every single deck is going to play Elise the Trailblazer because she has good stats and gives you 5 freaking cards for 2 mana why would you not put this in your deck?
Control decks will be everywhere and aggro decks will fall out of favor due to plenty of board clears to deal with them.
At least i was right about paladin quest being bad lol.
Wait a minute. I haven't submitted mine yet! Okay here's mine:
I wasn't here before the release of Un'Goro...so...erm...I'mma just be optimistic about every card in every expansion from now on since it seems like even if you're wrong about being optimistic, you can still have fun with the so-called "bad" cards (Galvadon and Nether Portal are fun IMO). Meanwhile, when you're pessimistic, you're always going to be upset. About everything.
Predicted correctly: -Pirate warrior will be seen less. ✔ -Control/quest warrior will be viable. (Although I underestimated it a bit) ✔ -Rogue quest will be the easiest to fulfill. ✔ -Miracle will be t1 and better than quest. I still think this is true. ✔ -Hunter will have a t1 deck. You could argue it's high t2, but eh. ✔ -Warlock quest is garbage. ✔ -Warlock will struggle around t2.5-t3. ✔ -Control Paladin is a viable option many people brush off too fast. Still underestimated it a bit. ✔ -Priest will be t2. ✔
Wrong / Has to be seen -Freeze / quest mage will have a field day. Still think it will happen eventually, but so far I barely see them. -Jade druid will be still strong. -(Mid-range) Shaman will have a t1 deck.
Things I didn't see coming: -Murloc shaman -Murloc pally
Well, I thought that Living Mana, Sherazin, Corpse Flower, and The Caverns Below were going to suck. I have no idea what got into me, but at least I have the comfort of knowing that most of the community were wrong about the Rogue Quest and Sherazin as well.
My only really big miss was rating Stonehill Defender as bad. I did not think about the interaction with class cards and underestimated the effect of slowing down aggro. Other misses are just small over- and underestimations of deck power.
I was wrong about Sharazin, Corpse Flower I thought three hp just destroys this card. I was half wrong about Paladin quest it is not that bad tho. I was wrong about Hemet I thought it is just a meme card. I thought Tol'vir Warden is a trash card I was wrong it is bad but not that much. I thought Shaman will continue to rule the meta I was wrong tho I thought Pirate warrior will continue to be t1 in this meta I was right.
I predicted Warlock will be worst class of this expansion- I was right
I was very wrong about The Marsh Queen, which I thought would be strong. I didn't factor in how much weakness having to waste your turn 1 and one of your cards on a do-nothing spell in a deck relying on 1 mana minions would be. I still reckon if the Hunter quest was a 1 mana minion instead of spell that it would be quite good (even just a 1/1).
Actually I still think quite a few of the current played cards are "bad" Its just that the cardpool is so small at the moment that we are forced to play with what we got. How good the cards really are we will know at the end of the year.
What suprised me the most was the rogue quest, like almost everybody else, but also Living Mana is way better than I thought. I also thought Pirate Warrior is basically dead with so many taunts in the game.
Go.
The Caverns Below is playable but not T1.
The Marsh Queen will see play.
The Caverns Below Won't see play just likeLyra the Sunshard and Sherazin, Corpse Flower
I actually did predict The Marsh Queen would see little to no play
I predicted that I would be right.
I was right.
Make the Card: The biggest thread on the site!
My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.
I thought Vinecleaver would be garbage ... Same with Sherazin, Corpse Flower.
I didn't think Spikeridged Steed would be BAD, but I didn't see its true power coming for sure. Similar with Sunkeeper Tarim, which I thought would be too situational. Paladin has surprised me as a whole. Hydrologist is better than I saw coming too.

I thought non-disco Zoolock would be a powerhouse based on the combo of Devilsaur Egg into Ravenous Pterrordax, on top of all its older tricks.
I didn't think Humongous Razorleaf would be enough to make silence/Inner Fire priest actually GOOD.
I thought we'd see a lot more of Stampede and especially Dinomancy. Fortunately just Crackling Razormaw was enough to resurrect Hunter out of the gutter by itself. I knew it would be very good, but I didn't think it would be so meta-defining.

No more pirate warrior.
Every class will have a viable deck.
Sherazin, Corpse Flower and Lyra the Sunshard are absolute garbage and will never see play.
With the new quest, more midrange options and crazy beast combo's with Dinomancy and Stampede, hunter will finally have multiple, and all very viable decks.

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

i was right about sherazin and direhorn hatchling being good and jungle giants being awful, but i was dead wrong about the hunter quest
Vvreeeew.
I expected pally Quest to be viable. Turns out it is very hard to complete.
I thought Pirates were dead, but it seems techs and taunt aren't enough to obliterate them from the meta.
I also considered Hunter Quest stronger. Like T1.
Same for Druid Quest. It is hardly T3...
Predicted correctly:
-Pirate warrior will be seen less. ✔

Why Rogue is my favourite class:
My submission for this week's card design competition.
My only really big miss was rating Stonehill Defender as bad. I did not think about the interaction with class cards and underestimated the effect of slowing down aggro. Other misses are just small over- and underestimations of deck power.
Thought pw won't see play anymore cause og changes..
Hunter quest, everyone was wrong on this one
Rogue seened too gimmicky to work.
Thought paladin was dead but after seeing all the cards I knew midrange would arise again.
Quest paladin is bad, yep it's bad.
I predicted Warlock will be worst class of this expansion- I was right
I predicted Lakkari Sacrifice is really bad- I was right
I predicted The Marsh Queen is bad- I was right
I predicted The Cavern Below is really good- I was right
I predicted Tarim is good- I was right.
I thought control warrior will be really strong I was right
I thought Lyria Sunshard is a good card I was right.
After everything I still predicted meta better than streamers
I was very wrong about The Marsh Queen, which I thought would be strong. I didn't factor in how much weakness having to waste your turn 1 and one of your cards on a do-nothing spell in a deck relying on 1 mana minions would be. Control meta my ass. Even faster than before.
More interactive? Even more uninteractive than before.
One of the worst expansions ever.
I thought hunters and warlocks quest was going to be the best...
I exist, I think.
