This weeks theme comes from Crawsushi, whose "Putricide's Monster" was the winner of our "Happy Hallows End" competition. For this week, we're hopping on the hype train, and giving you another expansion themed competition.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
Your card must be a Grimy Goon (Hunter/Paladin/Warrior), Kabal (Mage/Priest/Warlock), or Jade Lotus (Druid/Rogue/Shaman) Faction card.
Note that, while it appears that all of the Faction cards in the new expansion will be minions, you are under no such restriction and may submit Spells or Weapons.
Also note that, if you're using Hearthcards to make your card, the Faction banner may not appear as part of the preview, but it will appear once you Create your card.
As always, you may not delete any posts you make in this Submission Topic. Message one of the Fan Creation moderators if you've posted here in error or otherwise would like your post removed.
Remember that, although HearthCards is awesome, you must host your card somewhere other than Hearthcards, such asImgur or Photobucket.
General Competition Rules
These are the rules that remain consistent from competition to competition.
First, these are the rules about Posting:
You are allowed to submit only one entry. An entry normally consists of only one collectible card, plus any necessary additional material or commentary (explained below).
You are allowed to post in this Submission Topic only once, only to submit your one entry.
You may not delete ANY posts you make in this Submission Topic, not even accidental ones you may make over your one allowed, such as by double-posting or by accidentally posting something here that you meant for the Discussion Topic. If you do accidentally post more than once, inform any of the Fan Creation Forum moderators via PM, and we will handle it.
Speaking of the Discussion Topic, that is where any discussion of this competition should go. This thread is for submissions only. If you want to discuss your card or ask questions about the competition rules or process, you can find a link to the Discussion Topic at the top of this thread. Plenty of folks there will be happy to help you out.
Once you have submitted your one entry, you are allowed to make only minor changes to it. Minor changes are things like correcting typos or making balance changes that do not alter the spirit of your entry as determined by we the moderators. If you want to make any changes and have any doubts as to their legality, ask us first.
These are the rules about your Submission:
Accompanying the image of your card, you may offer some minimal additional commentary to explain its design, balance, and/or other qualities. Flavor text is also welcome.
You may not submit any Gold cards or animated cards. (It's just a cheap attention grab tactic that makes it unnecessarily difficult to determine what class your card is for.)
Your entry must be a card of your own creation. We've been doing this for a while, so if you blatantly rip off somebody else's idea, we will know.
Remember that, although HearthCards is awesome, you MUST host your card somewhere other than Hearthcards. Save it and upload it toImgur, Photobucket, or some other similar site. HearthCards has a limited server space and will purge cards after a few days, and nobody wants your card disappearing part-way through the finals. We understand that there are some HearthCards memberships that will allow you to save your card there for longer (and you should totally get one of those just for general fan creation purposes, by the way), but we don't know who has those memberships and we can't tell from the URLs.
Fun and even humorous entries are perfectly allowed, but "troll" entries will be disqualified. If you're worried that your card may be misinterpreted as a troll card, contact a moderator before you submit.
TIP: Though not a rule exactly, we highly recommend that you insert your images using this icon on the bar above the post text editor: . Just click that button and put in the URL of your image. Cards that are uploaded and attached to your post are not disallowed, but in our experience they will not do nearly as well, so this is for your own benefit more than anything.
Finally, know that manipulating votes in any way is strictly forbidden. Any violators will receive an official warning, and will be banned from this and all future HearthPwn Card Design Competitions.
Competition Process
Preview Phase (Starts Now! Ends 19:00 UTC 10/November/2016) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic is made available, previewing this week's competition theme. Entry and Early Voting Phase (Starts 19:00 UTC 10/November/2016, Ends 17:00 UTC 14/November/2016) During this Phase, the Submission Topic is made available for your submissions. You may also, of course, feel free to give early up-votes to any submissions that you like! Voting Phase (Starts 17:00 UTC 14/November/2016, Ends 17:00 UTC 15/November/2016) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be locked, so no more entries may be submitted. Instead, use this time to browse the submissions and up-vote your favorites! Final Phase (Starts 18:00 UTC 15/November/2016, Ends 18:00 UTC 16/November/2016) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic will also be locked, and a new Poll Topic will go up. Discussion will be allowed to continue in the Poll Topic, and it will also include all the qualifying finalists and poll to decide the winner of the competition!
How do we determine the qualifying finalists? First, we'll pull up-vote data from each submission using the formula detailed below:
(ab) / (c) = x
Where, a = The total number of submissions on the same page as the submission. b = The total number of up-votes that the submission received. c = The total number of up-votes on the same page as the submission. x = The submission's final score.
The formula basically measures which cards stood out the most, with the necessary assumption that each page is about equal in overall submission quality. It will be the entries that receive the highest final scores that move on to the Final Phase.
The bottom line is that, although entries on the earlier pages of the Submission Topic are much more visible and thus receive many more up-votes than entries on later pages, you don't actually have to rush to get your entry in as soon as possible because the up-votes end up being weighted by what page your entry ends up on in order to determine its final score.
But wait, there's more! During each Weekly Card Design Competition, each Fan Creation Forum moderators will be given a Wild Card, which they can use to advance any one entry that they feel was initially overlooked or under-appreciated to the Final Phase, regardless of its final score. Wild Cards are our way of spicing things up a bit, but please don't ask to be given one or be upset if you aren't given one. These are just supposed to be fun. (Also, it should go without saying that, while we moderators are allowed to participate in the competitions, we are not allowed to benefit from Wild Cards.)
Rewards
Bragging rights are always awesome, but as usual, we do offer a couple of HearthPwn site rewards to competition winners: Their card forever immortalized in our Winners' Gallery! They will be allowed to select the next card design competition theme. And a unique Avatar Border & "Card Design Champion" Title, as depicted below!

So what´s up with this minion?
This is supposed to be a lose of tempo at first, however, with the pass of time, you can get fairly a better spell at the con of disabling it, strategies? Here we are:
Mage
Mage has a plenty of damaging and control spells, if the tool isn´t required, you can discard it and risk it for get a more powerfull tool, do you ever wished to have 2 Pyroblast? Here we are.
Priest
With the new spells and things, Priest can get a value from this, up to from a removal of Shadow Words up to the new Dragonfire Potion, powerfull spells for clean the board and also but not reccomendable, you can kill this and get that spell back, simple and effective..
Warlock
The discard mechanic and deck has got fairly nice this meta, with this, you can Discard a spell (Better on Fist of Jaraxxus) and then trigger your discard cards, be warny though, you may discard a pretty powerfull thing that serves to you or mill you enough, so be warny about the use, however, about the discard mechanic, can synergy a lot with it, especially drawing a lot with Malchezaar's Imp.
Only a negative thing, is pretty weak to silence, so reminder of getting that spell as earilest as possible, won´t you wanna to lose it, or not?
EDIT: Updated a bit the strategy on Warlock and added flavour text.
Situationally better healing for each class - more powerful than Healing Touch under the right circumstances, but less versatile; more reliable than Healing Wave, but less versatile; more powerful than Earthen Ring Farseer, but less versatile and without a body.
Card cost wise (evens/odds/7+) works EXTREMELY well with Kabal, and seeing that gambling isn't completely left to the goons, anyone in Gadgetzan can gamble!
Also for clarification, if you draw say a 7 cost minion, you'd Discover BOTH a Warlock and Mage card, seeing that Mage has some of the most powerful cards, I made it's requirement much higher.
I am inspired by a post i saw few months ago. That guy use text "If this minion is Discovered" and i take credit from it. I am sorry i can't find the post right now but if anyone find it i would love to reference it. Thank you?
Grimy Goon can discover this minion from Jeweled Scarab, A Light in the Darkness, I Know A Guy and Grimestreet Informant. The Battlecry can only be triggered if this is Discovered.
The Monkey King is a hozen and he is a companion of Shaohao, last emperor of Pandaria. Prince Anduin discovered an incantation to release him from the jade imprisonment. (This is why i want The Monkey King to be Discovered) The Monkey King use a weapon called Fuzan, which is the seed planted by the titanicwatcherKeeper Freya.
Thats +1/+1 once for each of the three factions up to +3/+3 so a 1/1 up to 4/4 for 1 mana. 1/1 for 1 is obviously bad but is some times valuable anyways or triggers Combo etc. 2/2 for 1 I believe this is the most common stat line you'll receive. either playing it after another minion or if your lucking your opponent is jade lotus. Because it is a conditional I believe it less powerful then say Enchanted Raven but still potent. 3/3 will be less common but achievable and the desirable out come. It require you to be able to generate other class cards; ie, rouge, your opponent is Jade lotus, or some other random HS shenanagans. Because of the set up required, it should be rare to see this early game. 4/4 this is where it has the most broken potential but most set up.
Lastly as of now most ways to get other class cards are random so by its nature building around that mechanic is unreliable. I dont think this card would be easy to abuse consistently. Its more of a can I pull it off trick that really is not too OP when its done.I think it could be a valued piece to class card rouge deck. Or a potential 1 mana 2/2 for certain class card heavy tempo/agro decks. With the upside it is occasionally a 3/3 (when your opponent is jade).
Comparable with Disciple of C'Thun but requires you to attack with your Hero instead of easy sleasy direct damage. Hence, gets a much needed +1 health to compensate. There's also the bonus of in-hand buffs to boost the cards value if held onto in the mid to late game.
1,5 Mana for the card (1,5 is often seen as the value of a card draw, gaining a card thats random but most of the time powerful should have around the same value)
2,5 Mana for the 5/3 body with has really low Health the time it comes out
This card has the potential to syndergise with all 3 classes:
Warrior can sacrifice some of his 4000 armor to protect his minions, hunter can force enemy minions to trigger his traps, and paladin can tank and heal up afterwards.
The card is similarly priced to Bash, since it does the same damage, but with a very situational effect, as compared to the 3 armor, useful in practically any situation. It may even be a drawback in some situation, whereas very powerful in other situations. In summary, potentially more powerful effect than 3 armor, but also more situational.
The lore behind this card is the hero (face) essentially telling his foes to get away from his faction, coupled with a beating.
This is the Submission Topic. The Discussion Topic is here.

There are two other cards, but I didn't want to submit too much and clutter up the screen.
King of 4 common 1 rare card packs
The House always wins!
Deny card draw from your opponent unless they want to give card draw to you too. Clear danger of counterplay and getting milled though.
Just to clarify, deck discards from a full hand don't trigger the effect, so no infinite draw loop to fatigue if your opponent also plays this.

The joke is you.
A very flexible pice of spot removal. It's Dark Peddler with less board presence but more speed and reliability. Synergizes VERY well with "on spell" effects such as Violet Teacher, Wild Pyromancer, Priest of the Feast, Flamewaker, etc.
Situationally better healing for each class - more powerful than Healing Touch under the right circumstances, but less versatile; more reliable than Healing Wave, but less versatile; more powerful than Earthen Ring Farseer, but less versatile and without a body.
You can find me here! Good luck everyone!

REMOVED
Maybe you'll grab a treasure or just Wirt's Thrid Leg!
After seeing Patches the Pirate in game, I'm dreaming for more animation like that ! A grapple to take control of enemy minions !
Why taking the damage dealt by the enemy minion you targeted? Cause no restriction on the chosen minion attack !
And why Grimy Goon? Cause: Warrior have a lot armor backup, Paladin have a lot heal and Hunter GoFace :)
The foot soldiers. They just keep piling in.
Literarily unplayable.
"It not magic, but rather a whole ton of top-decking luck. And magic."
Simple and Easy. Comparable to Azure Drake from its card draw and Kirin Tor Mage for the "free spell".
Wished to be pink.
Then did.
Then fired myself.
Then did again.
Comparable with Disciple of C'Thun but requires you to attack with your Hero instead of easy sleasy direct damage. Hence, gets a much needed +1 health to compensate. There's also the bonus of in-hand buffs to boost the cards value if held onto in the mid to late game.
"Elephants guide me." -Thrall
You cannot increase the cost of a minion above 10.
High cost Spells you can get for each mana:
(7): Flamestrike, Firelands Portal
(8): Twisting Nether
(9): --- (Mage, Priest or Warlock would need to get one of those)
(10): DOOM!, Mind Control, Pyroblast
Balance:
4 Mana for the kill effect (compare to Polymorph, Shadow Word: Death)
1,5 Mana for the card (1,5 is often seen as the value of a card draw, gaining a card thats random but most of the time powerful should have around the same value)
2,5 Mana for the 5/3 body with has really low Health the time it comes out
= 8 Mana
Stronger STRONGER !
Love the tribes.
