Holy shit this was completely unexpected.

Jeez, has been a long time since I've been actively commenting on stuff, really, I still remember my early beginnings making trashy cards and being critically panned, I would regret that if it wasn't for me to learn from that. As it is actually fucking cringy to remember.

Then I went to make a lot of cards and expansions, somehow I got in here, weird, but y'know, I've had a great experience at Hearthpwn, I don't regret ever existing in here, or even keep creating cards since those were so bad (And copied mainly from Hex, but that's something I don't want to remember lol), the fact that I don't regret that is that I feel that I improved, at least in the sense of not doing random stuff, but, actually making something, instead of making nothing and be an annoyance. I've met great people like Pirciboi, Demonx, Technician, and of course all the great mods in here and in the discord! You've made a great fucking job raising this newborn baby to a wise elder, and made it have it's own identity, I'm gonna miss Shadows fun posts, the incredible cards people have made and just, having fun in checking what people have made and posted everyday on the site!

I'm specially gonna miss the weekly competitions and class/expansion creation competitions, that was the best part of all the site, how people brought in their ideas into one single solid spot of beutifulness, supporting each other and giving their honest opinion, even if those were harsh sometimes lul :P.

What an amazing community this has grown into, thanks for all the amazing staff up there for making this a dream, including the moderators, how fun, wonderful people you are.

I'm gonna hecking miss this site. Also walrus if your prophecy isn't true im gonna fukin sue u

    @LarryMoments

On phone so can’t Quote but still wanted to give you some quick feedback on the idea. The short version is I fucking love the concept, the art, the card borders.

Now the longer version that covers the class more specifically.

    - As with the feedback given to me for my Hero Power which also gives a spell token, it might be slightly complex for beginner players. However I personally don’t see too big an issue here since there will obviously be classes that are harder to play than others. Even before looking at the Keyword, the token seems balanced as it is essentially an Arcane Shot.

    - Just want to make sure I get the Keyword correctly. Let’s say you have 2 orbs in hand and you play 3 Forecast minions. Only the first 2 get the effect right? And if you cast it the oldest one would go away. If I understood it correctly I do like the Keyword. Though another question, how would it work with spells? (If it works with spells)

Shoot I missed this post XD SRY

Yes, the first two would get the effect, however, if you play the oldest one, the first one would go away. It doesn't work with spells (since they're instant and don't stay on the board), but I may make them discard orbs (or something between those lines, I'm not too sure)

    Feedback:

@cL4wzHS: I like the change you made to the keyword it feels simple enough. But personally, I've mixed toughts about your basic set, because some of those are a bit too complex for basic, like MT: Coins and Bribed Dealer, but as this is phase I, it's not too much of a problem, Bribed Dealer looks like a great classic card imo.

@Vilegloom: I won't say much about the Armor-on-minions mechanic, as I've already seen it quite a few times, not a fan of it but it's not bad. I do, however reccomend changing Blazing Hammer to Classic and changing Last Resource cost to 1, it feels weak imo unless you give armor to multiple minions, and if it is that, you're just removing it from minions that benefit from having armor.

@Shatter: I like that you've already your concept settled on your basic set, and it seems really solid, however I just have one question, unless you have planned to have cards that reduce the cost of Deals, how in the hell does Salhadaar works? XD

Okay and just a general question but which portrait seems better for my Weather Wizard? Cogito is making me doubt about so many things XD

And while I still want to show the keyword potential, I also wanted to show other type of cards, I really don't want to make a keyword just to make something flashy (and me getting stressed just by trying to make more spells than minions) so I brought a couple more cards here.

And as always I have serious complication making spells with interesting mechanics, as I don't want to make this the new Mage or Shaman.

So after spending like 2 hours finding a good name and art (Thx Cogito for helping me with the Keyword and Class name!) here I have my concept for the Weather Wizard.

As an idea that just suddently pops up by looking at different card borders and looking at art that fits. The Weather Wizard manipulates different elements to change the climate to her and enviromental favour. She doesn't strikes directly like mage with Fireballs or Pyroblasts, to make matters clear, but can make the weather turn against them, the different elements too.

However controlling the elements is hard, and needs a bit of an impulse to manage them in your favour, and thus comes the class specific keyword:

    Clarifications:

    • A card links with an Orb when played, if the orb is gone (either by playing it or discarding it) the card can no longer link with another orb.
    • Links happen from left-most orb to right-most.
    • If you hover over an Elemental Orb in your hand, you may see the card it's linked to with a purple-ish glow.

For now I don't have a clear identity for the class, but I do have some examples with the keyword:

I plan to go with something like this with most of the Forecast cards:

    • Water: Defensive
    • Fire: Aggresive, Direct Damage.
    • Wind: Harmful effects.
    • Earth: No absolute idea, I'll try and tinker with new ideas tomorrow.

I'd like to get some feedback from more people, as it's just a concept and I will (of course) develop it more, like the sets, archetypes and such.

    @LarryMoments

I'm going to have to warn you right away; There's a two cards that always makes these concepts risky. Emperor Thaurissan and Malygos. It's the same reason they can't make druid cards that generate more than the two Moonfires you can put in your deck. If you had access to, say, a 3 mana 2/2 minion that gave you a Moonfire, suddenly you can deal 24 damage for only 9 mana. Now, many people would correctly say that's really slow, which is the big problem here... Since your hero power generates 1 mana deal 2's, if you trigger it three turns before turn 6, throw down a Thaurissan, you can immediately deal 21 damage on turn 8 with a Malygos. The big issue is this is not a five turn combo, but that it's a two-card combo. It's really easy to trigger, to the point that Malygos and Thaurissan would be in every single deck of your class when Thaur was in standard. This is exacerbated by the fact that your class encourages you to keep the Elemental Orbs in your hand to trigger forecasts. My best reccomendation is to change the effect of the Orb or make it directly remove HP? (Idk, that seems too complicated as well...)

You know it only deals damage to minions right?

Because I still find a slight issue on that

"NEXT!!! WE STILL NEED MORE BLOOD FOR THE PAINTING!!"

As most announcers (like soccer and so) they react completely exagerated when the combatant/player is defeated or humiliated, as so, they call in the next challengers to fight each other in the Arena. Keepning a constant steam of entertainment is complex, but not when you are as loud as the crowd.

Here's my idea, I tried to go more with the flavour than balance.

Even though I love Searing Hellfire there's a problem I'm not sure it's big or not.

So I've got two ideas of playing with the function of "Discard and Draw," replenishing your resources just as much as you ditch them. I'm pretty happy with the effects, themselves, although the bodies their attached to, I'm wondering if they could use some alteration.

The Secret Shopkeep would probably not have a place on the ladder, but would be a major swing card in Arena; power levels in Arena tend to be rather low, and there's a lot of variance of power within Rarities, so if you got screwed on the choice of Legendary, the Shopkeep could give you a chance to mulligan on that, or, likewise, if you were forced to pick between trash, you can hold it for another chance.

As for the Hoarding Dragon, I thought I'd add the conditional clause to its Deathrattle to only take effect if its Battlecry went off to avoid cheating out a Super Loot Hoarder. Although, is 3/4 still too weak for a card that forces you to Discard 2, even if you Draw 3 later? And would Paladin be a better home for this dragon than Hunter?

     but why not shopkeeper

I don't have much to say, these look very good. You could make Secret Shopkeeper a 2/5 imo, as you said it isn't very useful outside of arena. For Hoarding Dragon, it fits more in Paladin because of Dragons, but I don't think the effect fits in that class, I'd make it something else, like a Thief or Burglar of some sort.

Not sure which one you should submit tho, as I said, these look pretty good.

The card will be added after you draw a card at the start of your turn.

Also LoE for flavour, not much more.

Alright, got some ideas here though i hate that all of them have 4 Health tbh

I may change the expansion watermark if it's reccomendable, I just chose it because of the "flavour". Kind of.
