This would be allowed, but it would be broken with Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Not as much as a 0-cost spell reproducing itself, but the potential for tons of card draw is too high.
These are my two ideas for this week. struggling to decide between them. Defias thug can either provide an endless supply of reasonably costed minions or be a suped up ringleader depending on the situation. The sellsword is designed to fit in with mill decks. It has a potential downside of giving your opponent a minion but it is poorly costed for them.

I think it's a bad idea to create a card that can create an endless supply of itself (for just you). With the first card, you can keep playing one without Combo and you will never take fatigue damage, which wouldn't be fair. The second one is much better. It can create an endless string of itself, but it switches between giving cards to you and your opponent, which makes it fair. I think this one would work out well as a cheap, aggressive card.
Hey everyone! I was just wondering would this be valid for this week and what do you think about this card?
This would be valid. You should change the wording, though. It should say "Deathrattle: Summon a Confused Murloc for your opponent". Precedent for wording is Hungry Dragon.
Sorry asylum, but I don't think you or other fan creation mod/ adm should participate into the finals, I mean, for me, you shouldn't win, you guys are very creative and always send awesome submissions but a lot of people vote for you just for affinity, I know this can sound idiot but is just my opinion. You know, everytime you or other fan creation mod participates you go into the finals.
It's definitely not true that they always get to the finals. I keep track of these things because I'm highly competitive, and they usually don't make it. They make it to the finals often, because they are good at designing cards, but it is definitely not true that they are guaranteed to be voted in.
I agree with the fact that they always make good cards, but I'm pretty sure, even if they don't get votes for it, they get big attention, some users just pass all the cards and when they see it was made by asylum or anyother, they check and pay attention on it.
I personally disagree with that statment. Most users vote based on the quality of the card. Cards with good artwork and a neat design are the ones that get the most attention, and the mods just happen to make cards with a good design and a good look to them. In the end, the best cards make it to the finalist phase, and the mods aren't stopping the good cards from making it there.
It took me some to come up with a reasonable idea. I figured out that the Big Bad Wolf would fit perfectly.
I like the one on the right better because it looks more like a Hearthstone card than the other one. I think I balanced it alright.
I'll greatly appreciate any feedback on the balance, art, wording or pretty much anything that can possibly be wrong. I'll try to give feedback to other submissions.
This is a re-hash of the card I submitted for 3.14, at the time I was forced to make it a 1/1 in order to fit the rules, but I think these stats fit him better.
???
I wanted to put the artwork of a boomerang, but I couldn't find any good one. I have an artwork that would fit the paladin version, but I think such a card fits hunter more.
Defias Enforcer
Another card I wanted to submit for 3/14. Now it reads "Whenever you equip a weapon" so it can't be triggered as easily.
To be honest, I don't have any good ideas for this week's competition...
Hey everyone! I was just wondering would this be valid for this week and what do you think about this card?
Hi, the card would be valid for this week's competition if the Murloc specifically dies and another Murloc joins your opponent's side. Not sure about the balance on your card. Its a 3/5 for 3 (so +1hp over Twilight Elder) that summons a 3/5 for your opponent when it dies. It is extremely bad.
I intendend to make a race specific Sneed's Old Shredder style card, then I got Nightbane.
My first thought was to put the 6 mana 5/5 body like Sylvanas Windrunner but looking for him now, and having calculated the probabilities (75% of good/excellent summon vs. 25% bad) I thing its way overpower, its like a Dragon Sylvanas that can summon Deathwings (8% chances since there are 2 of them!), Yseras, Malygos, and a lot of biggies 8/8s. Its seems ultra OP tempo card.
So I think in changing him a little, I have some options in my mind:
Raise the mana cost to 7 (or more).
Reduce the body to a 4 mana baseline (3/5 or 4/4)
Reduce his body to 4/5 like Cairne Bloodhoof since he summons his son Bane and Nightbane would do something near to this but with more rng
What you guys think?
I was trying to do the math and show a well-built arguement but I messed up, so here is a short version:
in its current state it is broken beyond belief. There are 9 out of 23 playable dragons that cost 8 or more. Nightbane can't be costed lower than 8. She should have aggressive stats (f.e. 7/5).

It seems balanced, but you really think the one on the right looks more like a Hearthstone card? It looks way too cartoony. The left one looks a lot better.

Gamon is the only one of these I really like. I think you need to reword or rework him, though, because his effect won't fit the rules as it is now. The mods have said effects like Malorne, Anub'arak and The Skeleton Knight won't work because the effect implies it is the same card returning each time. Your card as similar wording.
Which one of these is better? The surviving damage clause is absolutely necessary on Plaguebearer, otherwise it would transform minions that it kills into Plaguebearer (since Emperor Cobra-like effects trigger even if the minion has already taken lethal damage), and nothing would ever die. I buffed up Plaguebearer a little. I also think it's important for it to have equal health and attack, otherwise when two Plaguebearers attack each other, they would just transform each other. The Sporeling gives you a copy of itself when you draw it. So, you'll have a 0 mana 2/2 and a 3 mana 2/2. Together, that's 4/4 of stats for 3. This is balanced by the fact that your opponent knows what's in your hand. I could change this to be a 3 mana 2/3 and the copy costs 1. That would be a slight nerf.

I like Throw knife because of the unique mechanic.
Plaguebearer seems sorta underpowered acutally(funny you should mention Emperor Cobra, why would you play this over that? Surely removing a minion is better than transforming it into a 2/2?)
Zangar Sporeling is meh, doesn't differentiate iself from simply being a smaller Silver Hand Knight. You'd have to draw it turn 1 or 2 to take advantage of it's effect, and I don't know if that's reliable enough.
The difference between the Plaguebearer and Emperor Cobra is that Plaguebearer can keep propagating itself. You don't just transform your opponent's minions into Plaguebearers: those minions then transform your minions into Plaguebearers. And then you have more Plaguebearers to transform more of your opponent's minions into Plaguebearers. Emperor Cobra can't make more of itself. With one Plaguebearer, you can wreak havoc on a control deck.
Zandalari Hexxer should have two abilities (That is, you need a line break separating the Battlecry from the Suicide Pact.) Consider putting the pact part first so the bolded part of the battlecry provides a clear break.
Also, since you have to kill it before you can win the game, why not just give it taunt or the Bolf Ramshield ability? Besides conforming to the weekly rules.

I'm well aware of everything you said, but I'm being limited by space and formatting. This is the best way to do it.
This last one brings back my question I had in post 2. What do the rules mean exactly about how your card copying itself has to be a 'standard' possibility? This one only seems to be able to copy itself if you have another copy of Undercity Gambler in your hand. This is similar to Burgle, which can only copy itself if you are playing against a Rogue. Would both be allowed?
What I meant by "standard" was that we don't want cards producing copies of themselves only in cases of wacky interactions. For example, Malorne doesn't normally produce any additional copies of itself, but Baron Rivendare causes it to when it normally wouldn't. Cards like Burgle and Mind Visionare allowed for this competition, though. Just through part of their usual functions, there's a normal chance, though dependent on your opponent's class and/or deck composition, that they'll produce copies of themselves. We actually addressed them in our first draft of this competition's rules but ended up deciding to deliberately leave them out because they are somewhat circuitous and unclear examples, and we didn't want to cause confusion.
But here's the issue: Dreadsteed could read "Deathrattle: Resummon this minion" and Anub'Arak could read "Deathrattle: Add an Anub'Arak to your hand" and they would work exactly the same, _except_ for this competition.

I like throw knife a lot. I think the mechanic is pretty interesting. And before I saw yours, I actually had an almost exactly same idea as your throw knife. It was basically dealing damage and add a copy of this card either to your hand or your opponent's hand. Since you posted your idea first, I'm not gonna use that one. And here is my another idea for this week's theme:
This card is like Herald Volazj and Shadowcaster. But it can provide an extra minion on its own. The beast summoned by it will become a 1/1, so it is really based on RNG that whether you can get a valuable deathrattle beast or some beast with special effect.
My entry for this week:
Is this allowed?
Maybe... nah nah nah nah

As always, any feedback is appreciated.
(the Manymph's balance is in progress, I'm thinking about adding something like gaining empty mana crystals only/other than start of your turn)

Mini-competition #1 - Buff your demons or have Yogg-Saron eat your face.
And it will be up to the voters to snub cards that are clearly cashing in only on that technicality.

Pretty good: Addled Grizzly, Mounted Raptor, Savage Combatant, Timber Wolf, Webspinner, Scavenging Hyena, Infested Wolf, Tundra Rhino, Starving Buzzard, Savannah Highmane, Pit Snake, Haunted Creeper, Dire Wolf Alpha, Emperor Cobra, Mukla's Champion, Maexxna.
Okay: Jungle Moonkin, Fiery Bat, Huge Toad, Stonetusk Boar, King Krush.
Bad: The Beast.
And other beasts are mostly having taunt, windfury, or stealth, or just vanilla.
