I'd save him for later, wait until you know you want to make some other legendary from his dust, but otherwise I'd say elemental shaman is a fun deck, so maybe give him a try if you feel like having fun.
My advice is: Don't dust cards you like. Sooner or later they may be viable (at least in Wild) or at the very least you might have fun playing casually with them.
Also, for what it's worth, Disguised Toast has proven that it's possible to reach Legend rank with at least some decks composed mostly of commons and Rares. It stands to reason that if those decks can win, then decks using the generally more-powerful, higher-value Epics and Legendaries can too, so long as the deck is well-constructed. I make a really dumb version of Control Warrior for a friend based on their collection of cards that combines Rotface and C'thun and honestly doesn't look like you should be able to win much with it (it looks like a bastardized version of the standard Rotface/Scourgelord Garrosh/Lich King control warrior), but I managed to tune it well with the right cards out of her existing collection and she wins with it constantly.
I have experimented with x2 Glacial Shard & x2 Spirit Echo to support Kalimos in shaman. Was able to unlock him a good amount of the time. His 3 damage to all can be game winning for sure!
I think a better elemental deck could be made that is more tempo oriented. Take out servant of kalimos, have 2 6/6's that do 5 damage, 2 bone mares and kalimos as the top of your curve, the rest use the highest stated cheap minions out there along with "enough" low cost elementals, and possibly evolution and the DK... I think Blood lust has been good so long it's blinded most of the populace to the possibility of a tempo shaman deck.
Kali is a decent card, it all depends are what your needs are. If you are missing cards from your main decks then its a no brainer. But hold on to it if you are going to dusk it just because you are not using it at the moment.
Dust him and every day you will regret the decision. As an elemental shaman player (if I have to be more accurate - jade elemental) Kalimos is an AMAZING card. He has a strong impact on the board, he's very flexible, because he can be used in different situations. Heal, AoE, sometimes burst (finisher), rarely board presence. This card gave me a lot of wins, when I mainly faced aggro decks, mid-range ones and sometimes burn back in Un'goro. Like asmodeus said, the only bad thing about this legendary, is that blizz won't introduce another good designed one in the near future.
However the issue why he doesn't see any play, is because in this meta jade dudu and raza priests are the dominant decks. The AoE can't clear beefy jades, the heal can be matched with 6 pings. Tbh the (jade) elemental decks always felt fine (fair but also competitively strong). Their biggest advantage was their ability to adapt to the presented environment and I'm not even joking. Shamans possess variety of tools, which can be used against other arch-types. Cheap removals against fast decks, transform against mid-range or control, heal against burn, value as a win-condition against slow decks. The only disadvantage they have, which, sadly, hinders them seeing play right now in standard, is the lack of card draw. Druids have ramp, Nourish, UI, priests also have some tricks up in their sleeves. So it's really hard to find the elementals, to activate the chain or to make a specific board state, where we can get value out of Spirit Echo. However elementals were always an essential part of the shaman class, it's just a matter of time, before blizz introduces card draw and reactive 4 or 5 mana minions to fill in the gaps. I'm absolutely very optimistic about its future, because there was also a comment in the Hex' nerf, how the devs will give us some support, which should go in line with the new change.
I got a golden Kalimos at launch from a pack and I've used him 5 times total. He's got huge swing potential, but until the meta shifts away from Razakus Priest and Jade Druid domination, he's best kept in your collection for further experimentation. It's unlikely he'll find no play before he rotates out into wild.

It's a good card that just needs better elementals, and we should see more in the coming expansions. I enjoyed using him in Wild where Shaman also has Rumbling Elemental which is a sweet turn 4 play (there aren't many 4 mana elementals out there, maybe Fire Plume Phoenix), since you can play Servant of Kalimos next turn for a new elemental and dealing 2 random damage. He's decent enough for now, he just needs stronger early game elementals to let Elephants Shaman survive the opening turns.
im playing a lot of jade elemntal shaman and its doing fine. Dont forget that jade spirits are now elementals aswell. And reactive elemental - there is one already. Phoenix. But jade spirits are just better now.
Tbh i love playing jade elemntal shaman. But in my opinion adding thrall is just a must. Pretty good synergy with elementals especially 7 drops.
Kalimos is a very strong card, and there is nothing wrong with him, The problem with him is that the elemental tribe isn't that strong at the moment. However, if elementals becomes a thing Kalimos is a must. :-)

I just got kalimos from a pack and I wanted to know if I can use him for something or should i DE him?
Maybe... nah nah nah nah
He is one card that is %1000 worth sitting on
Time will tell. Right now it's not strong. I wouldn't dust him.
Kalimos is very good card but elementals are not. So keep for next expansion or you can play wild with ragnaros.
Is it summons Jades? Nope.
But, well, imo it's in "almost playble state" so actually worth keeping.
It's usable.i just logged on a putb it into a deck and I was able to queue into a game. It only worked if u used a shaman deck tho.... Weird.
The card is very strong but the deck don't.
But don't dust him, he value is more than 400 dust.
I'd save him for later, wait until you know you want to make some other legendary from his dust, but otherwise I'd say elemental shaman is a fun deck, so maybe give him a try if you feel like having fun.
Not all who wander are lost...
...but I sure am
Kalimos, Primal Lord

Kalimos, Primal Lord saw fringe use back in Journey to Un'goro, but as of now Elemental decks are not being played.
His effect, however, is both strong and versatile, and if better Elementals were to be printed, we could see more of him.
I hit legend with it.
