This card is busted. It is Dark Peddler, but even better due to the consistency. Noble Sacrifice is busted when it doesn't take up a card slot, so this card on Turn 3 will be annoying a lot of the times.
Seriously? You'd rather have Noble Sacrifice over Voidwalker? Is there any secret that as good as Power Overwhelming? Or even Mortal Coil or Soulfire or any number of neutral 1 drops? Given the class bias for discover, Dark Peddler was pretty much guaranteed to offer you card that's better than any choice you'll get from this new card. Not even close really. Power Overwhelmingwas a standard win condition in Warlock decks. Nothing like that here
Everyone's comparing this to Dark Peddler when Peddler gets you Power Overwhelming, Soulfire, Voidwalker or Possessed Villager, and this gets you a Noble Sac early which is basically Tournament Attendee or a Getaway Kodo/Redemption that your opponent will know to play around if you play the secret late, which is when those two secrets will see any value.
But he cannot discover a secret can return to hand when die multiple times...
I like the fact that Blizzard is now releasing more low-cost Paladin drops that don't rely on another minion being on board. This one, however, is a bit of a basket case in the sense that its effect benefits itself more than your hero. You can play it under Noble Sacrifice to guard it against minions, you can play it under Redemption to give it more staying power against 2 mana ping spells, you can play a Getaway Kodo if you just want to reroll on the Secret, or you can just play Repentance to deal with an enemy's minion. In any case though, it's a good 2-mana common for Paladin and I hope to see more cards like it in the future.
That's going to be the new "Shelded Minibot" for Paladins, odds are you get a Noble Sacrifice or a Redemption, and a well timed Repentence is back breaking.

Shielded minibot was 2 mana. You have to spend an extra mana to play the noble sacrifice. It'd be comparable to shielded minibot if the discovered secret was discounted by 1 mana.

While the possible outcomes aren't as potentially powerful as Dark Peddler, they are more consistent than Dark Peddler because they draw from a signifcantly smaller pool of cards. I don't think it's a relevant comparison tho', the fact of the matter is this goes straight into Wild Secret Paladin because of the Secret Keeper synergy and is probably good enough by itself in aggro paladin or midrange paladin as well. We also need to wait and see what secret(s) are released to fully evaluate the card's impact.
I just don't think Paladin secrets do enough for this card to be a good card, and 2 mana 2/2 isnt even a good statline for a 2 mana card unless it can do something amazing. Which I don't think "get a Paladin secret" is. It would have been more acceptable if the class was less tempo-oriented and could do things without having a minion on board first (Paladin "removal" always requires something on board first).
Paladin might still use this just because of a lack of other choices in the two drop slot...but if you were playing midrange, why wouldnt you just play Hunter over Paladin? Honestly, Hunter has better midrange options than Paladin does right now.
Although to be fair, we haven't seen the 100 cards that are yet to be revealed.
going to see so much play, free spells attached to cheap minions no matter how bad they are is always broken, getaway kodo with galvatron and tirion is going to be nuts, best part about this card is you get secrets without having to put secrets in your deck
Anyfin can happen is getting rotated out, though.
The Discover text implies that you discover your class or neutral card unless stated otherwise. Look at Jeweled Scarab for an example
Critter of the Month? The Hot stuffed Dire Mole.
Why would you ever play this card in an Anyfin deck? it looks like it's another tool for secret paladin or murloc/buffadin

I'm creating a new custom expansion: The Bitter Reaches! Check out the progress on my Imgur page! ( http://lemondude617.imgur.com/ )
Is a mid murloc pally actually going to be a thing now?

Already competing for best artwork in the expansion.
Relevant post from Hearthstone's Twitter account about what type of secret you get:
"Paladin, gets Paladin. Mage, gets Mage. Hunter, gets Hunter. If you’re not one of those three you get Paladin secrets"
It's art makes it look like a girl scout or something like that.

S39 Legend - Quest Rogue, S38 Legend - Murloc Paladin, S37 Legend - Miracle Rogue, S36 Top 200 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S35 - Finished Rank 51 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S34 Legend - Aggro Shaman
Who says you can't discover Avenge with this card?
The art looks scary and cute at the same time.

Didn't realize in standard discover followed standard deck rules. But then I haven't played standard in a long time. Thanks for the info.
