Yep midrange dragon paly will maby be better(I think theres some deck in low rank on the ladder). What is sur, it will be a direct counter to dragon preast, that for sur will be a top tier deck.
I would be glad to see again a non-secret midrange paladin, but right now i feel like if there is gonna be one mid-pala, it is going to be full of secrets again
Don't the released cards lean more towards aggro pally? A deck that I definitely do NOT want to return.
Aggro pally + Tirion and Rag. Boom midrange pally or at least that's what I understand midrange decks to be with midrange shaman and midrange hunter. If he means OG midrange pally with a more bellshaped curve then yeah I can see that coming back.
This is gonna be the first deck I play once Gadgetzan releases:
I tryed my chance by creating a midrange paly ready to go for december :p That's how the deck look like :p. Btw your deck seem strong and I think some other MSG card can be really op in the deck :p

It's gonna be interesting to see how the Dopplegangster + hand buff theme plays out. I haven't included it but it's worth trying out.
Meanstreet Marshall is also a card I'm unsure about. It reminds me of Runic Egg but I guess he can attack without any help so that might be enough to make him playable.
One thing I prioritize is card draw since you want a full grip for your hand buffers during most of the game. If you run low on cards, you'll have a lot of do-nothings. That's also why I think that Smuggler's Run might be overkill. A buffed up Acolyte also seems awesome in that regard.

Since when does Paladin counter Priest? As far as I know, it's the other way around.
What he means is that dragon pally is gonna counter the new power cards priest is getting such as Dragonfire Potion which wouldn't be as bad since you're also running dragons. There is also the fact that becuase of the new buff cards you could in theory buff your early minions like Blackwing Technician into 4 attack which priest can't deal with outside of trading. For example I built this deck to counter aggro but actually could counter dragon priest as well. This would also one of my first decks to run when the expansion drops.

yep that,s true. I cutted Ragnaros the light lord, in a second try to build a midrange paly, to add 1 Lay of Hands. I think the deck need some heal and some card draw in deep mid-game/early late game. so I added it in my second attempt That's true, acolyte of pain will be op when buffed. I think I should edit my deck aha :p

Its never been that way, paladins hero power destroys priests, they cant do nething when you hold tirion and just HP every turn, also the famed dragonfire potion wont be doing jack against the +1+1 dragon consorts

His logic is that you won't be hurt by Dragonfire potion as much as other classes.. But that won't be enough.. Dragon Priest will just be better than Dragon pally

I know. Dragon priest will be 10 times better than dragon paly. What I tryed to say is dragon paly will be a tricky match up for priest. But, I think midrange paladin or eboladin will just be better than dragon paladin. Since the release of LoE, dragon paly was always in low tier, and I don't think it will go in high tier at the release of MSoG. But, if it does, The archetype will surelly be a tricky match up for dragon priest and, maby, a real counter because Dragonfire will not clear paladin board and this aoe will surely take the place of Excavated Evil in all priest archetype, dragon or not. Also, because actual standard paladin cards (mostly legendary) are better than priest
Here's my list. I opted to use less gimmicky cards and make my draws as optimal as possible. Chargers with divine shield like Argent Horserider and Commander I think will be very strong with buffs

That and the fact that early on a single buff can make cards like Blackwing Technician have 4 attack making priest have a hard time in the beginning turns as you can trade really well vs most early game things priest can put down. Which in turn makes you have a dominating board that can force the priest to say Entomb or waste other minions/spells to survive the really powerful opening dragon pally might be able to open with.

I really like the Argent Commanders. I wonder if we could go further down that road with Leeroy, Don Han and Faceless. Seems like the deck could potentially accumulate quite a lot of burst.

Midrange paly was my favorite archetype. With the cards revealed, I think midrange paly will comeback and become a top tier deck.
Do you agree?
Ps: I'm french :p
yeah. New secret paladin list may come out.
Yep thinking the same :p secret paly will also comeback for a few month
I will definite be trying a midrange dragon paladin but I don't think midrange pally will become a top tier deck. I suppose I can hope though.
