Dunno how to feel about it. The mechanic may suffer the usual issue that cards are generally under-stated because of the flexibility, making them difficult to play in constructed, especially in aggro meta. The idea is cool tho, as the legendary quest spells are
LoE was by far the best adventure in terms of legendaries with unique effects, and i really hope something is gonna be done in that direction again. Reno decks to me are the most fun to play and I'm confident that the 1-of theme will still be a thing with some very powerful cards to be printed
I meet a SMOrc shaman, nothing too fancy, just perfect curve: buccaneer into patches, into flametongue, into coin 4mana 7/7. then i stabilize getting a voidwalker from a dark peddler, healing for 4 before. So, i'm sitting on 13 life, after trading into his buccaneer and siphoning his 4 mana 7/7, i just cannot reno cause he has still tons of dmg, i have to risk it, but i feel pretty confident.
You know what? he played a fucking maelstrom portal and got a leper gnome, then he goes like this: double lava burst, 1 dmg from the 1/1 totem (rng?) then trades his leper gnome into my minion for the extra 2 dmg. Reno looking at me in my hand like "WHAT DAFUQ!?".
Fuck you aggro shamans, you useless brainless idiots. Make me wanna quit this game.
Fun fact: i had to play before this an UNBELIEAVABLE game against a Reno Mage where i just had to do miracles to win after 20 mins, then this. So, lesson for all of you: you may need half an hour to win, and less then 6 turns to lose.
Oh man I would love to play against you as RenoMage, but this Jade and Control/Dragon Priests deck wrecks me. So now I'm aggro. Don't worry, I usually concede to RenoLocks.
I do love the challenge to play an actual game, and as a CW player in the last few months (and control paladin back in the days) I don't really mind long-lasting games. I would just like to find more decks that are not just autopilot into turn 5 concede

In my personal experience, he's still very good: makes your matchups vs priests and jade druids so much smoother, as you have another big win condition that they simply cannot deal with. It's the typical high risk / high reward card, very strong against decks that do not have a lot of burst (like the 2 i mentioned before).
Sometimes he feels useless in your hand, but still, I'd rather have him all the time and choose if and when to play.
And, last but not least, spamming OBLIVION is too good to pass ^^
Hi everyone, i would like to bring attention on something that I've experienced many times, and I would like to have your opinion about this mechanic wich may be somehow niche but it is still relevant for my personal experience.
So, the situation is pretty simple: when you steal a deathrattle card already on board that is supposed to summon a X/X (where X >1) Jade golem, you get instead a "summon 1/1 jade golem". While i understand the concept and the idea that you still slow down the steamrolling of their threats, i find that many times the effort is too big to get such a small benefit. I think it would be more consistent that a card does not change its text just because it has changed side on the battlefield.
What do you guys think? It is supposed to be like this and do you think it is balanced/fair/correct?
Go fuck yourserlves all of you shaman players who just have a handful of broken cards and burst in your hand, then you go for the perfect totem rng all the fucking time. Hope you'll find something to do in your life when Trogg and Golem are rotated out you idiots
Unfortunately it isn't possible. The archetypes exist so you can be favoured in certain matchups, and unfavoured in others, they "keep each other in check".
When i face midrange (and manage to survive until turn 10, maybe after a Reno) i usually go for the extra board clear. I do often pick armor too, both vs more aggressive decks and also in the Renolock mirror against combo.
btw, most of the times i find the 5 mana spell more flexible, especially in RenoLock, because nowadays after a board clear opponent refills the board immediately, so it is good to also have some 5/5 demon or resurrect 2 minions.
So, i have some spare dust, like 8k. I wanted to try out some White Eyes shenanigans, so I craft him for 1600. Then, i complete my daily quest, reach 100 gold and open a single pack: guess what? White Eyes in there.

Highalnder mage is above 50% according ti hsreplay, it surely has some issues but it’s a solid deck

I have to go with jade idol.
while small-time buccaneer is such a cancerous card, jade decks is the only reason i cannot play CW anymore.

Ladder right now:
Pirate warrior

Pirate <random class>

[...copy/paste 100 times]
Nice meta.
Cannot really understand why people keep playing these brainless decks.

Reno and Alexstrasza vs a reno mage was probably my best pull. I also love when they have a full board and Dirty rat puts their doomsayer in play.

Pretty much depends on the game.

It is really, really situational
