Take Fun to the Next Level With These Six Witchwood Decks
Witchwood has been out for just over a day now and there's a ton of great decks out there to enjoy from a wide variety of flavors. We're bringing you six more decks that we think you need to check out.
HotMEOWTH's Combo Dragon Priest
Not too much new here which is great for players on the budget-side of the dust spectrum. Wyrmguard and Nightscale Matriarch are two excellent additions to the Dragon Priest archetype. HotMEOWTH says the deck isn't optimal yet, but some version of this should be good.

J4CKIECHAN's Zoolock
Zoolock got a lot of great additions from the Witchwood set and J4CKIECHAN has been having "an absolute blast" with it, among other decks. Overall things are pretty cheap but you will need to shell out for Glinda Crowskin, which honestly looks like such a good card for anyone even slightly serious about Zoolock this rotation, it's a must craft!

Taunt Warrior w/ Quest
As someone who has fooled around with some Aggro decks already, to say this is annoying to play against would be the understatement of the year. If you're looking for a deck that crushes aggressive plays and requires little to no skill to play (not at all a bad thing!), here you go.
Not at all salty about getting Hero Powered in the face with a full board that was unable to get through everything dropped down.

Aggro Dude Paladin - Odds Edition
I know what you're thinking, not this crap again! Aggro Paladin was one of those decks that didn't lose too much from the rotation and actually ending up receiving quite a buff thanks to Baku the Mooneater. With one simple card, you can now get two dudes out for the price of one and with all the buffs in the world, you can be one really annoying opponent. There is quite a bit out there that can hurt you, but this archetype without a doubt is still maintaining over 50% win-rates.
Here's the one I've personally been playing to get myself out of the dumpster, which is also a deck that has received very favourable win-rates from community statistics we've collected - over 65%! Of course, your mileage will vary.

Thijs' Taunt Druid
Who needs even cost cards when you've got Baku the Mooneater to play? Not Thijs and definitely not you! This deck was one of the many decks Thijs played on his 10h+ launch stream and it looks quite promising annoying to play against.

I don't think inconsistent is the right word for that deck. Slow, yes. Inconsistent, no.
What about Prince Liam on the odd-Paladin deck? 14/30 cards are 1 mana cost and maybe is interesting for late game survival (when topdecking a 1 mana card is prety bad)?
Play zoolock. I played my own version before before this thread was made and I could usually beat them. They don’t seem that bad. But at their worst it does bring back freeze mage vibes with the lack of interaction
The list I came up with earlier was almost identical to the one listed above, just minus things like stonehill which absolutely should not be in that deck imo, and including 2x Sword of Justice and Prince Liam. Prince is really excellent in the deck because he comes down on curve just about at the perfect point in the game. From turn 5, topdecking 1 drops is bad, and so having a strong aggro curve up to 5 and then converting your deck into mid-late game value is great. I definitely recommend making that change.
Trashwoock Meme Deck it's like the Elemental Deck when un'goro came...too much hype , too bad for constructed. Another fun greedy deck to the newbies.
I feel bad for the ones that spend their dust or money in it
It reminds me of CThun Druid right when Old Gods released. It's really good when everyone is unoptimized but once the meta settles its going to be killed before the big blow up turn every game.
None of this matters. Shudderwock is all you need.
+1
bullshit - Shudderwock gets in the face hard from rogue and paladin #period
Have you tried playing shudderwock? It's powerful, but also incredibly slow and vulnerable to boards that volcano can't clear. It definitely has losing matchups against a lot of the decks on this list.
Honestly, a lot of the losses are from people who saw a thread about it being OP and then crafted it and played it without knowing the combo order.
i.e. playing shudderwock without getting the chaingang battlecry first
odd quest rush warrior is goood! (I have a win percentage of 62% though 3 people have conceded when they saw baku and quest.
