I usually only see him in Miracle decks or Miracle in combination with some cheap Mech minions. Then they drop him late game to buy them that extra turn to fish for lethal. Pretty much the same thing as Mech Mage using Boom or Archemage.

Flood posted a message on Legendary Tier Crafting GuidePosted in: Card DiscussionA New Legendary Crafting Tier List Has Appeared!
The ratings in the thread are more than my opinion, they are opinions of people I know, myself and popular Steamers such as Trump, Reynad, Sjow, etc. I am ranking the Cards in Tiers/Brackets I am doing this because it is impossible to rate them from 1 to X.
This is not a tier list of the best Legendaries, this is a Crafting Tier list. This list is used to find out which Legendaries to craft and Disenchant. Arena and non-competitive play have no bearing on this list.
I have arranged the Legendaries this way to not only show their importance in constructed but also to inform readers on how/why they are useful. If you have any questions about the tier list ask them, if you believe the tier list should be changed in any way, PM me.
Remember: If you would like to know what Legendary to craft, please include the decks you play and the decks you are going to play. This is necessary and someone can help you a lot easier.
Press Ctrl + f to find in page!
THE PAGE WILL BE UPDATED IN THE COMING DAYS AS THE META STABALIZES

Posted in: IcehowlJust so we are clear. SILENCE REMOVES CHARGE! So we can just stop all that before it gets started.
As far as the card it is interesting. But it is essentially removal. Since it allows you to remove a big threat. Which is fine I suppose but when you think of it on those terms and compare it to all the other removal in the game it is far far too expensive. Overall I would say its OK but I honestly have no idea where this cards fits.

Just hit Legend with this deck with a 66% (21-11) win rate from rank 2 with 1 or 2 stars. Thanks a bunch, man!

If Kripp's predictions | (originally from Reddit) were right, we should be getting TGT in less than or about two weeks from now. :)

No reason to play it over Big Game Hunter or other hard removal, so it's probably bad unless you're playing it in a Joust deck I suppose, lol.
You're right about Icehowl not working with Silence, though (just tested it). My bad.

Yeah, fact is always better than assumption. My mistake.
Edit: Congratz for posting the 1337th comment on this deck. :)

This was actually one of the first *good* rogue decks ever posted to Hearthpwn (was just updated a ton of times), hence all the upvotes.
When Miracle Rogue was tier one a year ago (one of the best decks in HS history), this page had one of the most net-decked lists of that.

Alright. I've noticed StrifeCro's latest variation runs Chromaggus over Ysera, but it's too early for the deck to be set in stone especially without week 5's cards. He also hasn't streamed the deck in a couple days now, though.

Huh, well whatever floats your boat. Sylvanas Windrunner is still debatably the second best neutral legendary in the game, so you shouldn't regret crafting her nonetheless. :) Enjoy.

Well, if you don't have Dr. Boom yet, he's better than any of those three options you listed by far (with the exception of Sylvanas Windrunner being slightly better for Priest). If you already have him, though, craft Sylvanas Windrunner. (Ragnaros the Firelord and The Black Knight come after those two in priority in my opinion.)

This card easily makes the top 3 legendaries in the game, and I foresee to be played in almost every single deck besides hyper aggro (for obvious reasons: lower hand sizes give the card less value and it costs too much for such a deck). (That's right, I actually think this card might tip the king, Dr. Boom off his throne, but that may be a bit optimistic. :p)
Here's my reasoning: Dr. Boom, Sylvanas Windrunner, and Loatheb are the best in the current meta-game because they all have very powerful immediate impact; whether applying immense board pressure, messing with the opponent's plays, or both! That's what these three cards tend to accomplish better than most legendaries and more consistently. Now comes along Emperor Thaurissan with Sylvanas Windrunner stats and greatly benefits almost every deck with no major downside except being +1/+2 stats below his mana cost (much like Sylvanas Windrunner). Essentially, you gain a game-changing advantage by playing Emperor Thaurissan, without really losing enough in the process. Compare it to Ysera. Ysera isn't as powerful as Emperor Thaurissan in most cases; she also gives you a potentially game-changing advantage immediately at the end of your turn, but Emperor Thaurissan comes down three turns earlier with his effect, which is already very good and better because of his cheaper cost. Most constructed decks don't run any cards above six mana unless they're going to "win the game," so six mana is the most a tempo card can usually cost. In the case of Emperor Thaurissan with an effect and body put onto it as such, I think he can really have a place in the constructed meta, and be a decent pick in Arena, too.
Awesome that this card is coming out in the first wing, can't wait!

...And Emperor Thaurissan will likely be the peak of BRM legendaries!
