I see synergy with Lady in White.
This will probably stay at 12 attack, right? Because the health loss comes after the battlecry.

Then opened 105 packs and got:
Tess Greymane
Duskfallen Aviana
Lady in White
Lord Godrey
Glinda Crowskin
Genn Greymane.
Can't complain at all. I got enough dust to craft Shudderwock, Grumble, and Baku. And still have enough left for 2 more Legendaries.

Okay, I've voted "playable", so I should at least present some arguments :)
People claiming Duskfallen Aviana is bad mean that you're spending resources for something that would benefit both players, and your opponent will get the benefit first. This is very bad for sure.
But actually the Aviana could be more beneficial to you just because your deck is prepared for her effect, and the opponent's deck isn't. If your opponent is playing a mad-speed aggro, and he has few cards in his hand left, Aviana isn't going to help him much. So, if you aren't going to die on the next turn, the opponent will be forced to kill Aviana to avoid your mega-spells for free. So she is going to work like she had Taunt, and 3/7 Taunt for 5 mana is normal.
IMHO, Aviana will be a sideboard against aggro. You may play Mark of the Wild or Mark of Nature on her to stop the aggro for a crucial turn.
You are ignoring the fact that if your opponent got removal for this, he gets to play a free card and removes this and you get nothing. If that happens , you pretty much lose riggt there

The biggest problem with Shaman, as others have noticed, is that their Basic Cards are quite underpowered compared to most other Classes, especially after all the nerfs they keeps getting. Hnonestly I think some of the more useless cards like Totemic Might and Ancestral Healing should receive a buff of some sort to give their base set more viable options. For example, what if Ancestral Healing was increased to 1 mana and also cycled itself by drawing a card? It would be comparable to Preists Power Word: Shield but still unique enough (Shaman has somewhat of a theme of having alternate takes on cards from other classes, so why not).

I had 83 boosters (80 from preorder + 3 free). Free Legendary: Crystalsmith Kangor, free golden Legendary: Dr. Boom, Mad Genius! Here's the opened treasure (only Epics and Legendaries):
Druid: nothing
Hunter: Boommaster Flark, Flark's Boom-Zooka, Necromechanic
Mage: Unexpected Results*2, Astromancer*2
Paladin: Glowstone Technician
Priest: Zerek, Master Cloner, Power Word: Replicate
Rogue: Necrium Vial
Shaman: nothing
Warlock: Dr. Morrigan, Omega Agent
Warrior: Beryllium Nullifier * 2
Neutral Legendaries: Whizbang the Wonderful, Subject 9 (golden)
Neutral Epics: Crystallizer, Augmented Elekk *2, Weaponized Pinata, E.M.P. Operative *2, Holomancer *2, Loose Specimen, Seaforium Bomber * 2, Star Aligner
Not bad at all, guys! I certainly would like to get more legendary spells, preferably better than Boom-Zooka, but six Legendaries for 83 boosters is OK, especially if one of them is golden :)

There are ways to defeat Taunt. I run two Deadly Shots and two Giant Wasps. Each can kill almost any Taunter if there are no Divine Shield.

Thirteen Legendaries is awesome, congrats!

Toki, Time-Tinker on login. Didn't even know it's random, and still don't know whether it's good, but the image is nice :)
Opened 91 booster, only 4 legendaries: Archmage Arugal, Chameleos, Tess Greymane and Baku the Mooneater. Yes, it could (and should) be more, but at least I've wanted three of them :) Don't know what to do with Tess, and whether he's playable at all. It could be worse, but I've expected much better. I have enough dust to craft two more Legendaries, probably Shudderwock and Genn Greymane.
I lack a lot of good Epics and hope to get them in future boosters, but I'm unlikely to buy boosters in the nearest future. The card distribution makes me anger: I've dusted 39 rares. Can you imagine opening 91 boosters and getting THIRTY-NINE rares in more than two copies? That doesn't include golden rares, and I've opened them a lot. Yes, it's nice to have two golden Witchwood Grizzly and two Festeroot Hulks, but there are so many good Rares I lack that it becomes a problem.

Why doesn't this cost even mana? Why Blizzard, why???

Guys, how can you pretend this card is bad?
Shaman spells may be not spectacular, but you may get a tremendous card advantage on turn 4! Play a lot of cheap minions on the first turns, then play this, use your minions to kill the enemy minions and enjoy the card advantage. This is especially good in 1-cost Hunter decks.
