In the ROS expansion , blizzard added a lot of tech cards, more so than any other set. So if you are laddering and notice that you are facing a lot of a certain a type of deck, change some cards in your deck that isn't doing anything and replace it with the tech cards against that irritating matchup.
If you guys are having trouble against token druid, you can tech Batterhead, Mossy horror or Baron Geddon to make the matchups more favourable.
If you are having trouble against resurruction priest you can tech in the card that summons a 2 mana gryphon as well as the cards that summons a board full of imps.
If you are having trouble against bomb warrior, just play mech hunter or throw a lot of mechs in your deck , so it messes up with their mech removal.
Likewise if you are a warrior and are having trouble against mech hunters, mech paladin, just learn to tech in a EMP operative or two to destroy those pesky magnetized stuff.
Don't just netdeck and then complain, try to adjust your deck towards what you feel you are facing the most and you will have a more enjoyable experience.
Thank you! People want to beat the meta with their meme decks because kripp/toast/kibler/... just uploaded an epic game (recorded probably on day one!).
Cardgames are still sometimes won with brainpower folks
It is simple that if u want to beat Aggros, just put a lot of Taunts and Healing tools. To beat Token Druid, just tech a lot of Board clear and they are done. If you don't want to switch decks, that is your fault, not the deck's fault.
Teching is a lot easier said than done. You, as a top 200 legend player, should know that.
Playing an EMP operative may MARGINALLY increase your winrate against mech decks, but you have to take out a card. That card is most likely 10 times better in any other matchup. Congratulations, you just increased your winrate against two archtypes by 5 percent and decreased it against eveything else by 10%.
Tech cards should be "acceptable" drops on curve, or tech against a big enough portion of the meta that the net effect is a increase of your winrate. E.g. MC tech in the last meta, ooze currently, etc. Or it should be a crucial tech for a certain matchup that may be your biggest issue, like Elysiana for control vs control, since control is going to have a fine time against aggro anyway.
Now with regards to your tips: Token druid summons well over 4 waves of minions if you don't establish enough tempo to stop them from doing that. Putting in 6+ drops that deal with a single wave is not going to do it. Best way to prevent those waves is to be ahead on the board, in my experience.
Against res priest, hex or polymorph are far better than running a card than, for 90% of matchups, is absolutely atrocious. Yes, those are class cards, but sometimes it's better to tech against the meta by playing certain decks, rather than butchering your current deck.
Against bomb warrior, Elyssiana is the given tech, since bomb warrior wins near fatigue. If you are playing tempo, than you don't even need to tech against it. You are not going to put in a bunch of mechs into your tempo rogue as a tech against bomb warrior, are you kidding me? If anything spectral cutlass might be decent as a source of healing that can also push face in other matchups. And playing mech hunter is a good way to counter the bomb meta.

This is very true. Thats why i lose all my games as mage to token druids. Even when i discover cheap aoe clears like arcane explosion n stuff from Firewitch Treedoctor, or Magic Trick and i tech in blast wave as example i still lose. While removing i can barely build a board and then at some point comes the turn where he summons all those wisps or trees and gives them soul of the forest. From this point on its basicly pointelss to play, i just straight away concede...the cheap clears cant remove it and the bigger threats or clears just leave a full board from the deathrattle while i cant build any board.
I guess as mage i would need to go freeze mage, but i dont like freeze mage...
With my Dragonbomb warrior on the other hand i have 100% against token druids.
Sadly as it usually is, i meet way more token druids with my mage :)

These points here are well spoken and get to the heart of the matter. And previously someone joked that if you put in ALL tech cards you will have 100% win rate against all decks. (well met and well played)
Take a deck you are playing and realize what your weak points are. If you find yourself getting behind on board, then you either need to put in faster cheaper minions or put in more board clears.
If your deck wins the early game, but loses the late game against control, then think about putting in some late game cards that control can't always deal with.
Now if you don't know what's wrong with your deck, or what it's weak too, then ask on the Class forums, but dont complain or whine about it.
The OP is not doing that and neither is the quoted above. I am saying ask questions, dont make statements that are only confirming your bias rather than the experience of everyone playing the game.
So my advice is simple...go to the Deck Building forums or the Class forums. Post this simple example post and question...
Hey Hearthpwn members! I am having trouble with beating this (name it) particular deck. This is the deck I am running (along with posting the list or link to the cards). Do you have any advice for me and what I could change to give me a better chance at winning? or do you recommend switches decks and classes if everyone is playing (name it) a particular deck?
Thanks captain obvious rank 200IQ, but teching against one deck makes you a lot worse against other decks, it's not as simple as "play mossy horror EZ"
I'm not complaining about token druid at all by the way, but this thread is trying to look way more interesting than it really is.
Now I'll read the comments I assume and hope many people said what I just said in other words.

That's why the actual counter to token druid is a board control deck that uses minions to control the board with only a few boardwipes to deal with wispering woods. And then you win the game before The Forest's Aid becomes relevant.
Decks that do this: Rush warrior (without the bomb bullshit), and I suspect there is a shaman and mage deck out there that can pull this off as well. I'm sure something can be done with hunter as well.
Edit: Note that you CAN run the bomb bullshit, I just think a deck without that is stronger against token druid speciffically.
As top 150 legend player (see? My d*ck is bigger) i say that all your advise is specious at best and total bs at worst.
Against warrior play mech hunter: mm how about no?I don't like the deck and there are so many decks that do better against it.
Against druid play mossy horror...ok i wont bash the rest of your suggestions because the pattern remains pretty much the same but this is uber fail advise. By the time you play mossy horror you are either dead or about die if you havent cleared at least once their board.Plus they boost their board above 3 attack super easily.
This seems like defence thread that tries to hide its purpose behind "I aM PrO TrUsT Me". Tech cards have been shit in the entire hs history for good reasons.
I'm a huge fan of token druid, now that it has viable options, people started complaining... C'mon, guys!! People were used to have a bunch of aoe tools, now that only warriors can halt a game completely, there are threads to nerf Soul of the Forest and even Savage Roar!!! Thank God!! I'm having so much fun with this Year of the Dragon.
About the thread: it is not that simple to counter this deck. As written above, if you run too many tech cards, then your deck will be a piece of s@$t...

Even Savage Roar? Know your history. There have been calls to nerf savage roar since the dawn of hearthstone. It used to be complained about more than Wild Growth and Nourish combined. It is only when druid moved away from the token/ midrange archetypes that it stoped and the call for nerfs moved to other problematic cards.

In the early days, the calls for nerfs were more about the Savage Roar + Force of Nature combo. Blizzard correctly nerfed the part of that combo containing Charge. Those calling to nerf Savage Roar were misunderstanding the real problem.
The fact is, if you fail to deal with a Druid's board, you're going to get punished. This is working as intended. If you are running a deck that can't deal with all the minions, you should accept that it's just a bad matchup. It doesn't mean OMG DR00D OP.

Rogue dissagree
There's even better strategy. You can build your entire deck out of techs, then you will have 100% win rate against everybody. It's that simple!
Thanks Master. Now I know the way of Bushido..
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
Mate, you expect People to actually THINK about the deck they're playing?
You're being way too optimistic there....
You could do that or you could just play token druid instead to achieve legend rank 200+
It is simple that if u want to beat Aggros, just put a lot of Taunts and Healing tools. To beat Token Druid, just tech a lot of Board clear and they are done.
If you don't want to switch decks, that is your fault, not the deck's fault.
Wait wut? Not a crybaby thread asking for nerfs/calling the game dead? Am I still on Hearthpwn? :P
Great advice, btw ;)
I've no clue what I'm doing...

In what way does baron geden or batterhead help vs token druid.
By turn 7 you are likely half dead and the tokend are either buffed to 3 or soul of the forest
If you have a deck idea might as well go full ham on it.
