Awesome, that’s the primary reason why we play these weird cards to make them confused:)) It’s definitely not an autopilot deck, sometimes you don’t even need the combo to win.
Priest was definitely hardest and probably should have lost if he had known what I was about to do. 2 of the Quest Shamans were strange games - I don't think they even knew what to do with the gunspires. One of them shot himself in the foot by playing a board of 1/1's and then that spell that summons a 1/1 murloc when the minion dies. So I just ignored them and went face with two huge Kor'krons, followed up with the double gunspires (whith my opponent on about 8 health or so.
I really do like this deck. Props - it's really rather fun! :-) Going to recommend it to Skarma for the Friday Fun Decks. ;-)
Haha glad you got those legendaries and glad that you like it! There are some bad matchups but there are lot's of good matchups as well, especially against stuff like mech hunter. Yeah that's the most fun part, most of the time you will see your opponent hover over the card .. reading the text and then thinking something in the line of.. hmm did such a card get released? They deal with it in a very stupid way or ignore it and die :)
But in any case it just proofs that this card is very threatening in a tempo/combo/aggro oriented warrior deck and it needs to be dealt with ;p Hope your winning streak continues.
I feel like Grommash is way too slow and clunky in a fast deck like this, you want to be able to almost play everything in your hand if you want to because battle rage easily draws 4-5 cards every time
You have excluded Leeeeeeerooooooy Jenkins... thoughts on that?
Omg, you are right!! No just kidding, I have tested them both and they are both good, but in the end its up to preference. Kokron enables you to float 1 mana for shield slam or w/e and let's you do the combo one turn earlier.
Also by using kokron elite you can either do the kokron combo first or after gunspire it's up to you. But with Leeroy I have found that because of the extra two welps summoned from its battle cry, you sometimes miss out on three damage with the gunspire because it hits the welp one time.
Since I have gotten a golden" blackhowl gunspire" from the preorder a few expansions ago, I have always wanted to make a competitive deck in which its viable and I think I may have just found the recipe. I have gotten legend which it just now, and I don't know whether or not it's because of the end of the season but it went on an insane winning streak.
The idea of this deck is just to play the tempo game, which if luck serves you well, you will always win. There is too much card draw in this deck so you will almost always be done with cycling through your whole deck by turn 10.
You have three finishers/combo's in this game which depending on what your plan is you can either choose to do both in separate turns or just commit to one of them.
Combo 1: Kokron elite + inner rage + rampage + Bloodsworn mercenary + weapon swing for 20 damage to the face for 9 mana.
Combo 2: (needs overlords whip equipped) This one is the one that brings in the fireworks and your opponents won't know what's coming. You can either play gunspire on turn 7 and then double Bloodsworn it on turn 8 followed by a turn 9 warpath into 38 damage to the face, however this is only the dream scenario. Most of the time playing it on turn 7 followed by copying it on turn 8 with triple warpath is enough to close the game.
The other method to do the combo is to play gunspire and Bloodsworn it on turn 10, so your board will be two 3/7 gunspire's with a 3/3 Bloodsworn. Your opponent will and can't deal with the gunspires most of time , that is when you do warpath x5 on turn 10 which leads to exactly 32 damage to the face.
Combo 3 Kokron elite + inner rage + double Bloodsworn also 18 damage to the face, this combo is usefull if you have used rampage earlier in the game for tempo.
Overlord's whip is insane in this deck and you should always keep it in your mulligan hand, also find the other one drops and maybe battle rage.
Dynomatic is a great board control tool and it synergizes with gunspire for 15 damage to the face if your opponent does not deal with it.
Combo warrior in my opinion has always been lacking some kind of finisher and unironically it feels like gunspire is the ideal choice for it.
Try it out and let me know what you think of this new archetype, if I receive upvotes I can write an even more detailed guide.

Battletag: Pachinto#2116
Region: EU
Trade only: Yes, doesn't matter who goes first.

Remember to mulligan for the weapon, it’s a medium hard deck to pilot well :p

Nice, keep on experimenting.
Militia commander is definitely one of the prime cards that can be swapped.

If you need a final oomph after kokron and gunspire, you can add chef nomi.
I have been experimenting with substituting one shield slam for nomi, but most of the games he just stays in the hand.

Ah that's too bad man, remember to mulligan for overlords whip, it is really the engine towards making this deck steamroll

You are a man of culture :)
I also build an interference deck like you but with hunter haha, because they got one extra interference in the form of scorpion ;p

Crystallizers are to enable battle rage and shield slam on turn one :)
