This expansion should be called "Rise of cards that require a specific or immediate answer or you lose right there" instead.
Chef Nomi priest auto lose for control decks and only way for them to beat it is if Shaman gets the scheme from hero card and manage to get it to 6 and for CW has to be specifically Dragon version getting 3rd Brawl off of the 2/2 discover because they just have 2 seance and 2 full clears are obviously not enough.
I know people shouldn't reply in the salt thread, but Nomi Priest is one of the easiest decks to counter on ladder: it got famous just because in the first few days people weren't aware of what was coming. Now that it's popular, you know you have some turns to prepare yourself without finding many obstacles.
If you are control, then it's gg just by saving your AoEs: they cycle into their deck and then you punish them in 3 consecutive turns; if you are Tempo Rogue, your overwhelming value just shits on Nomi's dish (yeah I imagined Valeera doing it and it was kinda hilarious:). If you are aggro you may find some problems if you're not able to curve out well and manage your resources at the same time, but it's still a winnable match-up.
I agree with most of your post, but Nomi Priest is just a meme deck, tier 3 at best.
Hearthstone (especially Casual mode) is full of assholes and REALLY stupid people. I had a quest to play 100 Murlocs and of course my idiot Big Priest and Even Shaman opponents don't realize that I'm just playing weak Murlocs and draw for a fucking quest, there is absolutely no way I can kill them and I would have conceded anyway after playing them, but no, the degenerate imbecile cretins have to kill me on turn 4 even though I'm not even attacking them. Shout out to one Jade Shaman who let me play my stuff and cleared my board, you're the MVP, all of the other guys can go fuck themselves.
Are you seriously complaining about people killing you asap? Do you not realize your opponent probably hates you as much as you hate them BECAUSE you are wasting their time by not playing a legit deck to give them a fun challenge. Why should they be obligated to waste their time to let you complete your quest. I and many others would rather get the match over with ASAP so I can actually find a real opponent.
CASUAL DUDE. CASUAL! IT'S IN THE FUCKING NAME! It'S WHERE PEOPLE GO TO PLAY BAD DECKS FOR QUESTS. If you want a real opponent go on ladder instead of farming casual for wins.
You don't have to be so much of a prick.

You know normally I don't give a shit when people try to correct me or some shit but this time I'll make an exception. You probably didn't read anything past me mentioning the name of the card cuz if you did you would know by now that chef nomi decks do in fact run 2 seance so your 2x board clears don't mean shit and I dont give a shit if the deck is tier whatever the issue I was trying to say is control decks auto lose to it
Ok, how the fuck am I always unlucky not to draw my weapon removal on time. Like, I'm totally being honest here. I have NEVER drawn my ooze whenever the mage player plays Aluneth. I remember the time when I did - it was back when I played in standard, i.e. prior to TBP. Anyway, I decided to slow down my opponent by playing Mojomaster Zihi, but can you imagine that I saw Emperor Thaurissan in that list? Emperor Thaurissan?! What the actual fuck! I mean, I know that Jade Shaman is not a strong deck and all, but this card just gave my opponent the needed mana cheat to overcome Zihi's battlecry and to kill me. Emperor Thaurissan in a tempo deck...
A few games before that I faced Kingsbane rogue. I kept the ooze in the mulligan stage, but I wanted to wait on the perfect moment to play it. Not because I was too greedy, but because I wanted to play around things like Raiding Party and Cavern Shinyfinder and thus oozing the weapon too early is a misplay. On turn 6 the player prep-ed Myra's Unstable Element and if I had oozed the weapon, the rogue player would drawn it anyway. I was dead to Eviscerates and the pirate on the board + the weapon, so I healed myself with Healing Rain, but died to Tinker's Sharpsword Oil nevertheless. Sign.
Hello, I'm salty today. I play mostly control and combo/OTK decks (mostly maly shaman, otk mage, spell hunter) and today my every f*****g enemy had a rush deck... How can one obtain pleasure by playing rush in a f*****g casual wild... Thanks for reading
Decided to do an arena, first time in 2 years. BIG mistake. Got a nice mage deck, barely got 2 wins. Faced the luckiest opponents I've seen in years. I have 2 flamestrikes and a blizzard? Well, I've seen them once each in 5 games! But the warlock opponent got 4 of the best possible Lackeys, in a row, AND all the answers he needed on topdeck, on 2fucking2 (including 2 Siphons and a board clear)! Who cares if your deck is 70 score, you you NEVER find ANY of your good cards, AND 4 out of 5 of your opponents got 80-score decks with perfect draws and perfect curve? How do you like 12/24 dragon on turn 10 from priest, after 2 4/7 taunts, a board clear, and a bunch of heavy taunts? And the 9-mana-res on topdeck next turn? Or a fucking constructed hunter in arena?
And the rewards? a pack (bad pack with 1 rare) and a plain common card. The reward listings for 2 wins are: 40-50 gold OR 40-50 dust OR 1 common card OR 1 rare card. I even managed to lowroll the fucking reward. Its been 43 lowrolls in hs in a row today, sometimes I think this game hates me.
For a while now I'm trying to complete the stupid quest - win 1 game as a warrior/paladin. I tried with Whizbang the Wonderful, now I went to the tavern brawl and after conceding 6-7 times to get a warrior deck, I get patron.
How the fuck does this win after the nerf to Warsong Commander? It was a mockery, that the shaman player's Thing from Below was in the last 5 cards in the deck, they felt forced to Hex one of their own minions and despite the opponent's lack of luck I didn't manage to win. How did Patron Warrior had any chances to win after the nerfs? It looks like a weak deck to me.
This whole 'Android Instability' shit is killing me. Every other game I get frozen out and/or disconnected seemingly at will.
Sort your shit out Blizzard. Small Indie Company my white hairy ass....
Either fix your Clients or buy me a new HDD after my Solid State Drive shit itself this morning so that I can play a game of Hearthstone without this fuckness happening ALL OF THE TIME.....
On topic. How in the hell does one go 3 games playing a Deathrattle Mech Hunter and draw absolutely no mechs in the first 7 turns? For a deck that’s supposed to be meta, it’s slow as hell when it wants to be.

Wrong, it used to be such that I could reasonably expect to queue into a non ladder deck at some point. Now, I'm surprised if I'm allowed but one game per day where that's true.

TWICE a fucking warrior topdecks brawl when I'd be able to beat him next turn and TWICE the only minion to survive is my fucking 1/1 lackey.
Fuck off. Absolute bullshit.
