It's not broken, it's borderline unplayable. Almost every minion you'd want to attack with that would cause the weapon to destroy itself, rendering the windfury useless. I'm sure you can come up with corner cases where "But but but" and it's good, but 98% of the time this weapon is poor.

I completely agree, my friend. :) I never said it was good, I only said it was interesting. :))

I'm not sure a 6 mana 5/1 weapon is interesting. ;)
Lol MEANN :( :p
Hehe sorry. I think you're joking, and so am I. I'm not trying to be mean. But, while the weapon idea is kind of interesting, it needs total rework to be a card. It needs to be low attack and high durability. And really, Fool's Bane already does this design space pretty well.

I know we're joking bro hehe :)) I agree with fool's bane regard, but I wanted to make something that's a completely different concept, just for the sake of "bringing it out there", you know?...
Basically, I wanted everyone's opinion on what could be an acceptible weapon that has crazy stats for its mana cost, i.e what effect would such a weapon need to be acceptable...
Sadly although an interesting concept, in theory it is unplayable as it is essentially a better stated equivalent to the infinite attack warrior weapon with a severe downside! :/

I honestly have no idea why you'd think this is interesting. It's not even hinting balance, there's no clear use for it... if it'd say "immune while attacking" this would be insanely more interesting, and would definitively need a cost increase. But at least it'd make some sense... you can't hit face, you don't really want to kill minions using it, but you want to hit minions with it. It'd probably be too strong regardless of the mana cost and the "don't kill" restriction at this point anyway.
What about "phantom dagger" or some shit like that. Your hero ignores taunt as long as the weapon is equipped. Far more interesting concept, imo.
I think this weapon would make sense if it's text was instead: "Windfury; When you attack a minion with this weapon, destroy the weapon."
This would mean it is really only designed to go face, and the obvious and easy counter to this is both Taunt, and any big threats on the battle field. At MOST you are doing 10 damage to face in 1 turn with this, maybe make it 8 mana? But otherwise, that's a way more "balanced" yet playable version of this weapon.

Ooh that's good. Or leave it at 6 mana and decrease the damage to 4

Y'know, this
Arcanite Reaper
has been a thing since the game's release.
The card is pretty bad. You would need Violet Illusionist to make this playable on turn 9. Also Furnacefire Colossus but still very weak.
There would be no reason to play this over fool's bane
If it costed (2) it would.
For that cost, I would at least the expect for this text: Windfury, if this kills a minion or attacks a hero, destroy it.
