Which cards from the upcoming expansion will be the most OP in your opinion? If we could perdict which one of them will be nerfed then It would be a good idea to not dust any extra copies of it. And then get a lot of extra dust after the nerf hits! What do You think about that?!
I don't hit the button so I don't have to think about this... Also, it's extremely early to start this thread, the set isn't even out.
Well, as soon as it is out, people will say "Jesus OP it's too early to call for nerfs wth is wrong with you. SALTSALTSALT LOL" At least now OP won't be called salty for trying to get some predictions in.
Personally I'm assuming the eventual nerfs are in the last dump. Not sure which particular card yet.

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
Resurrect is too strong, invencible, unstoppable, OP, broken and uncounterable in this game.
Without even/odd decks to fast kills the priests will reign supreme until Blizzard decide to erradicate the mechanic out of the existence or do the right way with cemetery being a place in the game with cards can deal properly with that, like Yugi and MTG.
Nerfs are for cards that single-handedly shape the meta in an unfair way. I don't think any individual card is strong enough to do that, but if I had to choose, Heistbaron Togwaggle has highroll potential and combo potential that might make him way too strong.
To me, it seems like the cards that are super good appear to be balanced in some way. For example:
Underbelly Fence is insane, but most of the time it won't be buffed by turn 2, in which it would be at it's strongest.
In the case of Sunreaver Spy (another super strong card), you'll have to play a secret in turn 1 instead of a minion. The same applies to Mysterious Blade.
Hench-Clan Hogsteed is strong and may end up in every aggro deck, but it doesn't seem broken.
Archmage Vargoth would be my number 1 pick for card that becomes broken in the future, but since it's a legendary, I doubt anybody will have extra copies of it.
Soul of the Murloc I could see getting nerfed if murloc shaman ends up being tier 1. Toxfin wouldn't be a bad nerf candidate either if that's the case, seeing how various low-cost spot removal cards have been nerfed (Execute, Hunter's Mark)
Aside from that, Omnislash released a video a few days ago (deleted shortly after, no idea why) in which Zalae, Ike and Crane reviewed the set, and the card they seemed to be most blown away by was Exotic Mountseller, believe it or not.
They talked about how it was a better Gadgetzan Auctioneer, as it has better stats and instead of putting things in your hand it puts minions on the board. For example: turn 7 mountseller + backstab + prep +3 mana spell (which would be really easy for rogue to do) = 5/8 and 3 random 3 cost beasts (the pool is decent btw). So keep an eye on this one as well, maybe?
Vargoth has already shown how insane he is. And since he was given to us for free, if he got nerfed, nobody would get a dust refund. It would be a "fix" like the Tess Greymane fiasco. Just my prediction.
Archmage Vargoth and Heistbaron Togwaggle specifically with the wonderous wand. Both will eventually be broken because of the shear tempo and value they can provide. They are both cards that, when combod properly, net the player far more mana than they cost.

Without the spellstone, eternal servitude, shadow essence, and shadow visions I think resurrect priest is dead. It's going to be too hard to build a viable deck with no small minions.
I generally don't like these kinds of threads but I will say this time that Vargoth is an extremely likely target because it is cheap very powerful and, best of all to Activision, was free so they don't have to refund players a dime when nerfing it.
Archmage Wargoth to 6 mana, Toxfin to 3 mana, Mass Resurrection to 10 mana and Heistbaron Togwaggle to 8 mana.
Chill brother...
Preparation is fine and the main reason to play Rogue - i mean you have no class taunts nor heal, so you need tempo.
Not to mention the class is intentionally starved of consistent control-oriented cards too so that they can almost never compete in slow attrition MUs with other classes like lock, priest, mage, or warrior. No big aoes, almost no big threats that rely on something that is not just about copying cards or committing many resources into one minion, and no easy way to cheese out anything big outside of Big Rogue "Monsters behind you!"
The moment rogue loses its tempo advantage is the moment the class dies competitively, unless they actually give the class a face lift/schizophrenia like they did by turning warrior from a control class to a midrange to a hyper aggressive class back to omegalul fatigue class, or when they allowed mages to become one of the best healing classes in the game when previously they only 'healed' through two Ice Barriers & Ice Blocks.
That video was deleted because it was trash. They're all good players obviously, but they put zero effort into that review. I wouldn't put much stock into anything they said there.

Hi Guys!

My first bet is Conjurer's Calling. It could do insane things with Khadgar for only 5 mana total.
I'm predicting none
Priest resurrect 9 manas spells.

Jepetto Joybuzz - his potential for disgusting combos with cards like Malygos is insane.
Without the spellstone, eternal servitude, shadow essence, and shadow visions I think resurrect priest is dead. It's going to be too hard to build a viable deck with no small minions.
The only one that seems like it would be close to me is Togg. But honestly that one should be a preparation nerf.

My guess will be Hench-Clan Hag!
I don't think any cards from Rise of Shadows is going to get nerfed.
Preparation and Scavenging Hyena might be on their radar though.
