I'd imagine you can even afford to put it into decks that do not go the more minion heavy route. Don't even get punished for it. Such a strong effect on two mana. The card is very good or meta defining for sure.
The first time you boardclear a mage, they sit there stunned for 20 seconds and then they ragequit, going to be so fun now that mage has minion vulnerability like the rest of us. Wow, just noticed it costs two, even more fun as a class that is clueless on openings struggles to protect a high-value minion.
I think this card is what will push zoo-mage over the top. My only gripe is that both mage legendaries are even cost, yet they make Black Cat haha. Not a big deal though. Maybe an even cost mage can somehow make an appearance in this game =P
Edit: There's also some serious synergy with Dollmaster Dorian, is there not? Some sort of minion mage with passive effect minions (like these or Sorcerer's Apprentice, as examples). The one problem with Dorian is he gives too much information to your opponent (still a strong effect obviously), so now people will know what scary cards you will have 2 of in your hand haha. Obviously I'm thinking a bit of a dream scenario, but I think there's something there.
Look, I will be bold and say this card isn't worth of the hype most people are giving. Yes, it can generate a lot of value and it does have synergism with Spiteful Summoner, but mage has so many great spells (Fireball, Frostbolt, Counterspell, Polymorph, Meteor, Flamestrike, Pyroblast and Explosive Runes just to name a few) that it kinda baffles me how to make a good Mage deck with 6 spells at max. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the Elemental synergy will be enough, but I'm still doubtful.
shitty card for boring archetype.
I've smoked a lot of ganja dust so I'm forever not2fast.
A cheaper more specific Chromaggus

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

Minion Mage is may just be a thing.
wow, i really like this mage card aswell, seems to go well with the other new card book of specters.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
At just 2 mana, this is beyond insane. Mage staple in ANY deck for sure.
I think I could see minion mage played as an elemental deck. The archetype is already there, so adding some of these cards to it seems pretty good.
Oooohhhh, ok ok, i see it Blizzard, this is the apeal for the 2 mana draw 3 huh. I like it
This doesn't work with Dollmaster Dorian right?
2 mana chromagus seems pretty good, Great with aluneth and book of specters, effective draw 6.
Carpe Diem - Seize the day
