Somewhat weak on Standard, but insanely powerful on Miracle/OTK Priest in Wild. Imagining a combo with this, with discounts from Radiant Elemental, you can do something like this: Embrace the Shadow into Prophet Velen into 2 Regenerates into 2 Flash Heals into 2 Light of Naaru. You can get 44 damage on one full combo, due to the double damage of Velen. Just add some control tools and bang, you are set.
Remove the Vulgar Homunculus (the only 2 mana cards) and add Keleseth and another card (either Argent Commander for burst, Giggling Inventor for a sitcky board or if you have either of them, Leeroy or Mossy Horror)
As a card alone, he looks... bad. It is a 1 mana more Lone Champion, but Lone Champion is used on control decks because it comes out early. For 3 mana you have a better option (either Lone or Tar Creeper). But as a buff, it can be useful. It's Blessing of Kings but with added Taunt and Divine Shield instead of +2 Attack. It can work, but only on a more value type of midrange deck.
Look at the bright side... at least Paladin got setup for later expansions, and there is always Bone Drake and Ysera as dragons. Rogue, on the other hand, got the really short end of the stick.
Amazing on Rogue and Zoolock, good on Zoo Mage and on Wild Priest. The fact that you get a 4 mana minion on turn 3 with very minimal drawdack (if you trade well enough or have the dagger) is pretty insane. It's not only even better because it's not a 4/5. On the other hand, playing it on Turn 6 onward is somewhat bad, since you are wasting resources to kill a target you created.
It will probably see play on aggro decks, and on those it will shine.
It's sad (or happy, if you think that it will boost his applicability) to see this card on such a bad class. This card is amazing, it's only not meta defining because Shaman right now is pretty bad. But maybe on a control battlecry deck this card can see play as a control/tempo tool.
Amazing on combo decks, since you can always recycle your combo pieces with this card. Amazing on control decks, since you can, for two mana, gain another copy of an important minion. I think it will shape up a meta if the game gets more combo pieces. On Wild, this will be BONKERS.
It will see play on Kingsbane Rogue, but not because it's amazing. OK-ish stats with the condition of Combo is not a really good combination. But hey, at four mana you can have a 2/4 and a 2/3 Kingsbane at board, so it's not terrible? It would be so much better if it was a Battlecry, that's for sure.
Too much randomness to be effective. While the best case scenario makes your deck incredible, it's not always a case of best case scenario. Pretty bad, but looks amazingly fun to play on a Secret Paladin as a Hail Mary.
Oh man, this card is pretty good. Maybe the underrated card of the set?
While it's true that rush isn't as good as charge and the cost is nothing out of the ordinary for a 5 mana 3/4 + deal 3 damage, the catch is that it is a minion on the whole package. A deck with Keleseth, for example, gets an Yeti instead of a Spider Tank, not to mention the powerful trade and board presence you can do with a 7/8 with Divine Shield and trade it into a minion. I don't think it will see a lot of play, since the meta won't really be adequate for a buffadin/midrange Paladin, but it will see some experimentation as a one of, maybe a two of on buffadin.
I really liked it, but I don't think it will see a lot of play on the current meta. Maybe on a metagame where you need to stop a lot of aggro minions, this can be extremely good, but right now, it only serves as a niche card for Buff Paladin and to make better beasts as DK Rexxar. But still, pretty good tech choice.
Look, I will be bold and say this card isn't worth of the hype most people are giving. Yes, it can generate a lot of value and it does have synergism with Spiteful Summoner, but mage has so many great spells (Fireball, Frostbolt, Counterspell, Polymorph, Meteor, Flamestrike, Pyroblast and Explosive Runes just to name a few) that it kinda baffles me how to make a good Mage deck with 6 spells at max. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the Elemental synergy will be enough, but I'm still doubtful.
I think this card is pretty damn good. The problem is that it doesn't really fit a lot of the current achetypes, since Lifesteal isn't something that Aggro Paladin requires (all be it that a 3/5 taunt is pretty good to defend your key minions like Knife Juggler or Dire Wolf Alpha) and Buffadin, while finds this card really good, is currently just a gimmicky deck. I did some theorycrafting and created a Keleseth Control Paladin that tries to win by outvaluing with cards like Uther Deathknight, Tirion and loads of control and healing, but it will probably suck, especially on a meta with 20 damage burst of Cubelock.
But I really liked the design of it. It can be a great card in the future. But right now, it just doesn't fit the current decks...

He's planning to kill the enemy before the late turns. Like what usually an aggressive Tempo deck do... a deck like this one...

Eh, can be decent on zoolock or a token deck, but it's too slow.
