Second-Rate Bruiser saw little amounts of play and it's a 3 mana 4/5 taunt against aggro, the card saw play as tech before it got replaced, so as absurd it might be a 3 mana 4/5 didn't see play, why would a 5 mana 4/5?
4 healing is evaluated as 1 mana in neutral cards, we have this boobly kobold that heals 4 with a 4/4 for 4 didn't saw that card seeing play at all.
I don't see this card seeing play unless you are running an odd deck, that is looking for cards to fill the 5 slot.
-Your opponent is getting ready to cheat out a Voidlord, and is gearing up to create 6 more the following turns.
-Your opponent plays Spiteful Summoner next turn and gets a minion that eats this for breakfast on a lowroll.
How can anybody think this is good in constructed? And in wild Sludge Belcher is WAY better, but still does not see much play at this point of the powercreep.
Might be useful in a combo deck that needs to stall, or in Quest Warrior if that's ever a thing again, or in some other deck that just needs a boatload of taunts. It does feel like a "lose slower" card to me in most cases, though. Probably something you're situationally happy to get from a Stonehill Defender but won't use a deck slot for.
This is the kind of card that I really enjoy, if odd Quest Warrior becomes a thing, this will be an auto include, past that its just a good card in any kind of controlling/midrange deck.

You know shit's bad when you miss Midrange Shaman.

I actually really liked this card when I first saw it but when you put it like that......xD

Wtf, so let me ask you, what turn 5 minion play that can counter all that shit? The answer is no. You have these broken play 100% at turn 5 all the time? The answer is no. This is a very good card. Vs control it is better because 4 attack. Vs aggro it is the same because 4 heal is kinda the same as 1/2 taunt. If silenced, this card is still better because 4 attack.
Looks like the card everyone puts in every deck they create when the expansion begins. That being said, it looks like a very good card for me and i can see it being played often.

I have to agree and repeat the same argument in the topic of shaman hero.
Playable/fair cards don't see play when broken cards are around, that is the reason we see only Shredder for 4 manas, in that time all playable/fair 4 manas cards are outvalued and outempo for this broken card, same history here, unless Blizzard smash very hard paladin and warlock with nerf hammer nothing else will see any play.
Not as bad as its stats make it look, because there are a lot of decks that want to survive and heal a bit on turn 5. However, its not that good either, its still a 5 mana 4/5, which is very bad.
I'll say playable in a bad deck that doesn't have better healing or taunt options, which means I'll probably end up putting this in all the decks I try to make work.

control staple for most decks, maybe not warlock?
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
Good card, not sure if it’s better or worse then Sludge Belcher but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.
So, you play this guy on turn 5:
-Your opponent just played Call to Arms and is getting ready to mow you down with Sunkeeper Tarim.
-Your opponent is getting ready to cheat out a Voidlord, and is gearing up to create 6 more the following turns.
-Your opponent plays Spiteful Summoner next turn and gets a minion that eats this for breakfast on a lowroll.

Sludge Belcher is solid in wild, this card feels very similar and I'd be surprised if it doesn't see serious play in a few decks.
SO GOOD FOR N'ZOTH!!!!! All deathrattle taunts are super premium, and this one looks a little like sludge belcher. Much wow.
might sometimes be preferable to belcher even in wild?
4 attack is a big deal v priest and 4 heal can be better than a 1/2 taunt.
These are the cards I like, satisfying
Don't mind me just passing by
5 HP taunt "heals" for 5. Then dies and heals for 4. Pretty damn good IMO. Fits into Odd Taunt Warrior and maybe even Deathrattle Quest Priest?
Ultimately I think this is just playable, but I’m putting it in my crappy Big Hunter deck immediately.

I thought blizzard didn't like neutral healing?
There is a long line of minions waiting to hide behind this tree! And the first minion in line is Blackguard!
