For me the worst card is not a card that is unplayable. It´s a card that is absolutely playable and find some use in some decks. Leeroy Jenkins is the one. I know most people like this card. But I don´t like the chargeeffekt of this card and that you could turn a game around just with this one. You could nearly do nothing against this. Most people using this card buff it, too. I hate play against this card and hate play it myself. Just my opinion.
I disagree with Cursed Blade , That card is great in Pirate warrior. I started using it after ax was nurfed and think that I would still use it even if ax was changed back. Outside that deck then yes the card sucks but It really does shine in the right shell.
The worst cards in the game are the ones that have similar cards that are strictly better and STILL don't see play, like Magma Rager and Booty Bay Bodyguard
See also The Boogeymonster (just a worse Gruul). I think this is the right line of thinking to get to the weakest card as anything 'worse' but unique has its niches.
That said I am more inclined to agree with the philosophy of the worst being the most overpowered since they actually damage the game.
1. It's a legend, meaning you have higher expectations for the card. 2. It can be killed by other minions without even damaging them. 3. It's so close to a decent card (if it had taunt), but for whatever reason Blizzard didn't print taunt on it.
Basically,: Worst card to open in a pack. Worst card to play. Worst designed card
The Boogeymonster is a close second, for basically all the same reasons above.
Some would say: "but how about Majordomo, Unlicensed, Cho, Pagle, Boogeymonster, Millhouse..?"
But let's think of this: There were decks that actually played Majordomo and actually was a legit piece of the deck (some sort of fatigue mage back on LoE, TGT or the like), Cho and both Pagles are situationally a nice drop to get randomly (like corrupted Pagle milling opponents), Millhouse can even be dreadful if your opponent happened to have no spells for you. Even Boogeymonster, despite being the absolute worse version of Gruul. an already bad card, still c somewhat win you games and in arena is ev remotely nice. You can even make some gimmick plays by using Treachery or Shadowflame on Unlicensed Apothecary to make an actually nice play.
Gnomish Experimenter is a terrible card in every form, as the chances of polymorphing key minions is scary, and even in spell decks, you are sure to have a better way to draw than this measly 3 mana 3/2. The fact it is a battlecry minion means you can't even find a way to reliably give it to your opponent so it screws up its draws.
Cursed Blade is pretty similar, as it has no single way to actually contribute to your win (besides topdecking it for the last 2hp damage), but will make you lose every time you happen to make the mistake of playing it. Its existence also makes cards that equip random weapons worse.
I'm gonna go with Poisoned Blade. Most cards that instantly lose you the game (Majordomo, Millhouse Manastorm, Cursed Blade) can also win you the game in the right circumstances. They're high-risk, high-reward. Poisoned Blade is a 4-mana 1/3 weapon - or, after 2 turns and 4 additional mana and not attacking with your hero, it's an 8-mana 3/3! It's so unbelievably low-value, it will never configure to victory.
Actually have gotten deadscale knight from shaman quest/murloc discover a few times, mixed with buffs this has kept me from dying a few times. Rounds out the murloc options
When I think of the worst card in HS, i have to think of a card that is so bad that you wouldn't play it regardless of any situation. Some bad cards still have applications. There are several cards I want to say (Stablemaster, Sacred Trial, Bolvar Fordragon, Cogmaster's Wrench, Kidnapper, Cyrostasis, and more) that you can justify for being the worst card but the one card i believe that is the worst card in the game is Junkbot.
5 mana 1/5 for an effect that can only work if you have a board that you want to actively get rid of to get value out of this card. And what if you don't have a board? you just going to play a 1/5 that does nothing useful for 5 mana? No you wouldn't. Even for mech decks you wouldn't want to play this card because Mech decks are a board centric kind of deck like Murlocs, so getting rid of a board to get value off this guy is stupid for an effect that is mediocre in all honesty.
Temporus or King Togwaggle. Yes, I unpacked them both.
i feel like Sea Reaver HAS to be on the list of the worse.
Yes it has good stats, but EVERYTHING else about the card is terrible.
1: It lets you opponent know you drew it.
2: it ONLY damages your board.
3: Its RNG so you cant control when you draw it
4: you have to have things you want to damage on the board.
5: ITS A EPIC....WHY IS THIS CARD AN epic?
Booty Bay Bodyguard
Evil Heckler is the same thing for 1 less...
Poisoned Blade
Its really really really bad and not even a fun meme way its just a boring card that should have never existed and its an epic.

Dinomancy
Outclassed by Deathstalker Rexxar and not only useless, but it even takes away one cardspace in hand, if you get it from the Un'Goro Pack.
Bolf Ramshield

Hard toss between Gnomish Experimenter and Cursed Blade.

I dunno, The Boogeymonster can be a little scary when it pops out of a Spiteful Summoner. I wouldn't put it in my deck, but it's a lot better than Unlicensed Apothecary.

I am ALWAYS pissed when I get this as a random Mage spell. I'll be so glad when this piece of garbage rotates, lol

Magma rager.
Worst design is definitely Call to Arms. No reason that card should have ever cost that little.
Worst overall is probably Charge. That got nerfed so badly that most people forgot it was in the game.
Worst card ever? Meh, probably Cursed Blade. Why would someone play it? ,_,
And worst design ever? Probably Mana Wyrm and Tunnel Trogg - Overpowered 1 drops that can easily win you a game :)
