When year of the Raven starts, this will go from 99.99% useless to 100% useless in standard (bye Inkmaster Solia, we'll miss you).
Getting this off Primordial Glyph when playing Secret Mage is fantastic. Too slow to play in a deck, though.
As a Secret Mage player I'm heavily offended by this cards. It's beyond ridiculous - Mage's Purify.

I would add "If there is none, discover a secret which costs 0" because it goes with the theme and 8 mana do nothing is pretty bad.
I'm glad this card was printed. Not because it is good, but because if fucks with Cabalist's Tome and every other spell generation card mage has been getting lately. Getting an 8-mana, do nothing card randomly will probably put a wrench in many annoying mage decks.

This card would be a lot better if it was 10 mana and it put 5 random mage secrets in play. And I still think this card would suck. Well, bright side it's a 100 dust.

This card should be "Put three, one of each secret on your deck into the battlefield" and card should cost 5
Aside from being slow another reason this is a bad card is, it kills Arcanologist. Drawing secret before turn 8 or before you even draw this card makes this card garbage
Mysterious Rune + Loatheb effect = Glacial Mysteries
Except with this card you need those secrets in your deck, so it's even worse!

Playing this on turn 8 could give you a "quiet" round 9, where Frost Lich Jaina then can be played.
Well thought, but I don't see that as reason enough to justify taking at least 4 card slots to make the effect a little bit worthwhile. Even if you get it out of a glyph, it's still not that reliable, though, what with investing 8 mana in something that might not do anything.
