It was time to play Paladin in Wild, so I thought, why not play Secret Paladin? I didn't have the cards to do it when it was the former cancer.
My deck tracker tells me I've won 11 out of my 12 games with Secret Paladin (NA server). My only loss was against a new Pirate Warrior, and it was close.
I have played lots of wild and secret paladin is the main cancer. When you beat one make sure to taunt lots. I wish blizzard would address it and make changes to wild like they said they would. Luckily I do not find as many secret paladin as there used to be probably people getting bored and reaching legend...
Wow, the strongest un-nerfed deck in HS history is good what a surprise -.-'' I tried playing it recently, and guess what i won 76% of my games on the way to legend.... While playing over my other account via my phone...
Unless Secret Paladin is addressed, Wild is not viable in the long term. The last two months I didn't play Secret Paladin, and every time I queued against one I groaned inside. Some decks can contest the early game against SP, some can contest the late game, but how many can contest both? And then there's the problem that you don't know if it's Secret Paladin or Anyfin Paladin, another horribly depressing deck to play against.
I don't even know you would nerf it Secret Paladin. Muster for Battle AND Mysterious Challenger?
Wild nerfs will most likely happen when the next standard rotation hits. Blizzard said they planned on wild balancing or wild nerfs. When the next rotation happens many more people will want to play wild and they will need to address secret paladin. Wild is only broken when one deck (secret paladin) can obliterate all other decks on ladder.
I ran quite a few games with secret paladin the last few hours and while this deck can have broken starts with multiple secret keeper into secrets and on curve minions, i lost a lot of games in the early game. The deck can be horrible clunky and gets wrecked by a lot of decks. Its not as broken as i thought it was. I changed the list into Pirates early game, that helped. But if your starting hands contains tirion, mc, secret, just concede.

Sick, just sick.
So do you normally play wild? Because if not, this data is pretty unsubstantial.

you always assume it's secret paladin i mean it's super op and doesn't even need adventure cards, while anyfin needs like 1-2 more legendaries and being pretty deep in an adventure.
the price difference means that most players wouldn't even bother crafting anyfin until the adventure rotates out in the first place and since anyfin is just a rare i bet some players are jsut waiting for rotation to happen to just craft anyfin witohut buying LoE and go to wild with it,
Secret Paladin is beatable in Wild (I have 70% winrate against them on Rattle Rogue), the disgusting thing about it it's that you can see them playing horribly many times, but if they have the god curve they'll win no matter what.

Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!
Secret Paladin isn't as good as people think; only because tempostorm rated it on the first place on wild doesn't mean it's broken. N'zoth Priest destroys secret paladin, as do Patron Warrior and Freeze Mage. Heck, i now even easily won with my Zoolock against a Secret paladin an hour ago.
And yes, if you play it around rank 20 (maybe even 25) or on unranked with an extremely low MMR, then yes, it's pretty broken. But that's every refined deck there.
The problem is the fact that it's good enough to make it the most popular deck in wild by FAR. Sure... I can beat it most of the time with my hunter deck because I run 2 flares and have freezing traps. But consider this... any time you make a deck in wild, you have to make it competitive with Secret Paladin, or you can't play that deck.
As for the future... as long as Mysterious Challenger stays the same, Secret Paladin will never go away. It will always be dominant and (with new secrets maybe better). They can make all of the secret eaters they want. If they make a bunch of anti secret cards and everyone is running them you might push SP out of the meta... until later people stop running them (Eater of Secrets is obv bad vs non secret decks). Then SP players will notice that people are taking the anti secrets cards out of their decks and the cycle will continue.

Weird it's almost like secret paladin is a good deck that has been fine tuned over a year of playing with it versus decks that are a week old.

I don' see many secret palidins either at rank 10 and I play it.
I am not a Mage player, just thought my avatar would go with my name.
'How many Blizzard employees do you need to fix a lamp? It does not matter, because they cannot balance the ladder.'
Check out my homebrewn Paladin deck.

I cheer for the free win every time I meet a Secret Paladin :) Keep on playing the deck please.
Anyfin and Secet Pala make all other midrange and controldecks obsolete. Just stupid.
Wild and standard is the best to happen
I rank up in wild with secret paladin.
I farm gold portrait in Standard with others.
Don't tell others my secret
I love seeing Secret when playing wild as I run two Eater of Secrets and love the auto concede when I play it on their 4 or 5 secrets. LOL

Patron Warrior and N'zoth Priest are favored against secret paladin. Freeze mage is also pretty good.
