We've recently heard a couple of whispers that TPTB might actually start caring about Wild a little more.  Blizzard is apparently going to start encouraging Wild tournaments and they're offering us full gold trade-in value for the soon-to-be Wild only Hall of Fame cards.

One thing contradicts the other... They say that to make people less unhappy but they do the opposite of caring about the wild at the same time - Hall of Fame!
They said cards are problematic for Standard yet they just pushed them in their dump Wild where they even pose bigger problems. For example Deathrattle decks are more powerful there cos of Deathlord, Belcher, Shredder etc. - they said they will rotate Sylvanas out of Standard cos it has too powerful deathrattle which will pose problem cos they will do something with deathrattle effect. Well in Wild it will be only bigger problem if anything. They said they want people to use other 8 drops so they rotated problematic Rag? Not in wild apparently. They said they don't want OTK combos, so they rotate Ice Lance? Even bigger problem in Wild since Freeze Mage is actually strong there cos of Scientists. And the list continues.
So even tho they say they care about it, they do exact opposite and it's just a fairy tale like before to make Wild players feel like it would matter. They didn't even want it to be ranked mode at 1st, they don't allow you to buy packs/adventures for it, they don't even reward points for making legend there, and now Hall of Fame is spit directly in Wild's face just proves this further.
The hall of fame cards were already in Wild. I don't understand your point. Making them wild exclusive will only help the format by making people who want to play those cards try it.

FUN and INTERRACTIVE . Combo OTK decks are not interractive for your opponent, that is the case.

Ok, let's talk about interactivity. Same example, Control Warrior. What's interactivity in this deck? Whole game plan of the deck is doing nothing except playing removals/board clears and tanking up. In healthy game such jerks should be punished by OTK builds. Because if you do nothing - you should pay for that. And good example for that was Control Priest/Malyrogue match-up, which was unwinnable for Priest.
Yes, the game plan of control warrior was tanking up and removing threats. That's because it is/was a control deck and control decks play defensively. However playing against control warrior or as control warrior was much more interactive than a combo deck. Players had to think about each others threats/removals, think about when to draw, or in the case of aggro, think about overextending or not. In addition, control decks don't just "do nothing". They try to stall while building into the late game, where they play their win condition, such as Monkey.
Also, why are control players jerks, exactly?

posted a message on Why do people play aggro / face decks?

I agree with Dalinos that flamestrike and blizzard are too slow in the current meta to be played before you die. When I play against pirates if I get to turn 6, I've probably already won and there's no point in AOEing. Also, pirate warrior does have a knack for rewarding easy plays. When I played my strategy was 1. kill minions with the word draw on them 2. go face 3. Don't get rid of the last charge of a weapon if you have an upgrade affect. Get rid of the charge if you have a bigger weapon to upgrade (arcanite reaper). 4. Win on T4-6.

I think pirate warriors are overthinking their own decisions. If I overexplained every decision I made as a control player, I would be here for hours typing.

posted a message on The problem of N'Zoth on Wild

Reno, to be honest, is much scarier than N'zoth. Reno Decks can only become better over time, while N'zoth already has the best deathrattles that will probably every be printed. I don't see Blizzard making cards that are better than piloted shredder or sludge belcher, and in the way of value, there's already Sneed's and Sylvanus.

That seems a lot of work for little to no payoff. I think Thijs/poster has better things to do.

Flametongue totem is far from the most imbalanced card ever. Try pre-nerf undertaker.

I was just trying to say that you were being overly vitriolic. I don't see what my rank has to do with you being angry or belittling others because of their opinion.

If you really want to know, I usually hover around rank 5 at the end of a season. Last season I was rank 8 playing N'zoth priest. I've never made it to legend, mostly because I don't care enough and it gets me nothing. I respect your dedication in making it to legend multiple times (your past posts), but please don't be a snob to people who are sparking debate and have different opinions than you.

^ Rank 20 pirate warrior confirmed

"Someone doesn't enjoy having to spend tons of time/money to build a deck that I want everyone to play because I enjoy it. Their opinion is instantly incorrect and they are scum."
Also your statement is completely wrong. There are no pirate warriors at rank 20. They are all at rank 5-lengend already.

posted a message on Top 5 Worst Hearthstone Legendaries
    Quote from arrumph >>

I think the worst legendaries are the ones that are not only unplayably terrible, but super-boring. These five aren't even worthy of being called legendary:

#5: The Beast. It's like Core Hound, but with an enemy 3-drop inside.
#4: Flame Leviathan. A War Golem that sometimes blows up your board. Great.
#3: Gruul. A very expensive Shade of Naxxramas without stealth. Bonus: It dies to BGH!
#2: Hemet Nesingwary. Needs no introduction.
#1: Maexxna. Yes, she's worse than Hemet. Emperor Cobra + 5 health + 3 mana = how is this a legendary?

Gruul isn't that bad. The problem with it is that it is completely overshadowed by cards like rag and tirion. Also, I think you should have mentioned millhouse and majordomo, who pretty much lose you the game outside of arena. At least the cards you mentioned have some niche uses.

I think that secret pally was the most non-linear deck and complicated deck ever. Kappa

posted a message on As it turns out, yes, Tavern Brawl is rigged.

It's not rigged. It's the same way in casual. You play people that are about as good as you are. If this system didn't exist, you'd end up playing players that are either much worse or much better than you.

I personally don't want a card on the same power level as Reno because wild renolock decks will be even better than they are now.

This game is smorc Dominated , classify it whatever the hell you want, tempo mage eventually fireballs face, mid hunter huffers your face, kill commands your face when your within 15 health. mid shaman runs tunnel trogg into totem golem into eventually blood lust ........FACE.

Are you getting it yet? stop saying aggro needs help and that 1 mana cards needed to be more powerful. noooooooooo they dont.

this game also doesn't need any more stupid fucking freeze mage, or anyfin pali, or, mill rogue like decks they are Cancer. and so is this jade crap, punishing people for playing the game....slowly.  as  if they arent already getting punished by all of the SMORC AS IT IS!

So are you trying to say that I have to attack the opponent to do damage to him? That's not exactly smorc. I play control and I still go face when it's correct. Is Renolock an aggro deck because it has to attack face to win?
