As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the worst brawls. I strongly dislike brawls that push just one or two builds that you encounter EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. This brawl is one of the worst offenders in that regard. (Flamewaker mage is basically all I see.)

There are a lot of remedies we don't yet know a disease for.
This brawl feels like playing EDH in Magic the Gathering. And that's a good thing. A really good thing. I'll be playing this brawl a lot!
Had a 30min+ match today which ended in fatigue, with actual relevant things happening each and every turn. Was playing a special brawl Reno mage against a typical paladin. I think it was the most fun and eventful game I've had in Hearthstone for a long time :)
That's how I feel, it really makes you strategize how to use the spell cards you get.

You do not truly know someone, until you fight them.....
Had some play as Druid first. Have to say, having 9-drops SUCKS in this brawl. Even Ysera. Ramp doesn't play good, Innervate hangs in your hand as a useless card past t3, unless you draw it with a 5+ drop that early. 8-drops suck even more, because two possible spells are Twisting Nether and Lay on Hands. 7-drops rule for Flamestrike and Crush, 6-drops rule for a lot of goodies less Recycle, although it could still be used for some purposes, and 2-drops dropping whatever spells determine the course of the game. You've got removal - play for the board, you've got Unstable Portal or buffs - play for face.
Then played as a Warlock - face is the place they say? No, you wipe the board with Shadowflame and only then go face. Then just spam spells. My deck is here:
It's highly suboptimal, but playing Nerubian Egg works even without direct activators in the deck, as opponents would be more ashamed at using board wipes. Still, it wins games pretty often (4-1, once I've got board wipe from Kobold Geomancer into Arcane Explosion and Arcane Blast to wipe the eggspawn and it went downhill, with me getting crap like Deadly Poison and Shield Slam as a warlock), so I'm greatly surprised. And I must say I freaking LOVE this brawl! It gives enough random to severely spice up the challenge, and it requires enough skills to suspend your spell-slamming to a just correct time to unleash the burst and turn the table.
Playing straight-up Zoolock. Crushing Mages over and over and over again. Goblin Sapper is the MVP, but Trogs are nice, too. Who needs high-CC spells when you're filling the board with 1-3 drops and just raining down little nukes and buffs like...well, rain? This brawl rules!

I looked at this card originally and I thought, you know, it's a card, and you play this card. The card will be that card that you play so you're playing a card. So, it is one thing to play a card. If you're opponent doesn't really have any cards, the card will screw up the card pretty hard, and that means it's a pretty good card.
Stuck a rogue deck together before even reading the rules of the brawl. Won 3 games pretty easy.
I think people that can't get wins are probably the same people with issues in ranked or issues in arena. Probably missing some key elements of the game, and not much to do with the brawl itself.
Here is the plan, play 3 or 4 9 drops. North Sea Kraken is actually better than Alexstrasza for this, Ysera and Nefarian are great too. And grab 1 (if you want to tie) or 2 (if you want to win) Tree of Life from them. The chance you get it from those cards is 100%.
Now, play a bunch of three drops and hope you get Shield Block or Bash (this is the hard part.)
And be sure to screencapture it when you win that way.
I AMOST managed to pull it off, but my opponent had an Ice Block. I still managed to win in fatigue after I used Tree of Life a third time.
This deck plays like a fatigue deck and that is a good alternative to win. Be sure to play Deathlord, Coldlight Oracle, and maybe even Dancing Swords, as they are all three drops, and it really isn't hard to mill your opponent.
Been having some great fun with this week's brawl, especially today.
Right up until I came up against a mech mage. I don't get people like that, why not play that deck on ladder? Is it really that enjoyable to ruin the fun for the rest of us?

As someone who hasn't done the auchenai/tree of life combo, why do you need the first tree of life?
I believe tree of life deals damage equal to max HP, which is 30. If you don't have full health you still die with armor. You don't have this problem with Bolf Ramshield though, that just absorbs all damage done.
fuck this brawl, i dun even get it. why play a deck that guarantees winning (flamewaker one drop bullshit) in a mode that absolutely does not reward winning? fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu whyyyyyy dudessss whyyyyyyy
"Lets make a casual fun mode where people play lame ass decks that is on the frontpage of hearthpwn so we can turn it into the new casual ladder" -Bliz
DO THEY EVEN TEST THIS SHIT OR JUST PULL IT OUT OF A GODDAMN HAT
This brawl is great IMO but Flamewaker ruins it. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so ( Thanks Kripp, guy who always thinks like me lol ).
Just simply banning that ( and probably Summoning Stone ) would actually let you play different decks.
People don't even know how to play Flamewaker correctly even. Tip: Just hold it until as late as possible for an instant free win! Hurray.
4/4 games I went into this morning were mage. I won 3 out of 4 and I still think it's stupid. I credit my victories entirely to bad opponents. Slamming down turn 3 Flamewaker? That's just throwing it away. One guy even had a second copy from Jeweled Scarab to redeem his earlier stupidity lol. Still lost to my random budget crap warrior deck I made on my EU account with no cards.
As it turns out the hearthpwn flamewaker netdecks aren't so great in the long game when you just waste your flamewakers.
10/10 Deathwing =tree of life Or Mind control
Do you Want to have a bad Time?
So I been using this rogue deck and I had great results, so far 8-1.
f2p player : worst brawl
RNG love me Kappa

There is a lot of steak here...

Am I the only one who used Wisps and Target Dummies to get innervates?

BOLF that's the misssing piece! Here I was trying to get armor. I knew someone was going to figure it out.
BUT I DUSTED MY BOLF... THREE TIMES.

This Tavern Brawl is fun when you don't have to deal with a bunch of dumb face huntard bullcrap. So, basically, one in 10 battles.
This brawl is great IMO but Flamewaker ruins it.
