I initially planned on buying the adventure with money but after seeing how pathethic most of the cards were I decided not to and instead save gold just in case. Now I'm quite close to the 2800 gold needed to buy the 4 wings. But is it worth it? I have barely seen people play the cards. Prince is the most common (about 5 times I think) but the rest...I think I can count those instances on one hand.
These are all very good cards that you see in every deck now, how dare you say that shitty Prince is more common than them.
And it's not the end because there are more gimmicky cards like my favorites: Protect the King! and Wicked Witchdoctor that are really good when you build a deck around them
If i was on a budget like that i would atleast buy upto the 2nd wing.
Arcane Giants are very flexible and solid cards - a great addition to spell heavy decks.
Barnes has seen lots of play too. Maelstorm Portal too
Onyx Bishop and Priest of the Feast for Priest have become almost staples in their decks.
Only cards from the rest of the wings that stand out are Netherspite Historian for Dragon decks and Menagrie Warden for Beast Druid. These are just from my point of view.
Betrayer... In truth, it was I who was betrayed. Still, I am hunted. Still, I am hated. Now, my blind eyes see what others cannot: that sometimes the hand of fate must be forced! Now go forth... unleash the tides of Doom... Upon all those...who would oppose us.
The first two wings are very good, don't know about the rest though. Currently trying to find out if it's worth it to spend 700g on the last wing because i want Medivh's Valet.. :)
If you already have the most of classic cards just save your golds for expansion and adventures. You receive 1 pack every week and with the extra dust you don't use when you open your new expansion 50/70 packs you can craft some cards.
And if you are good at arena, try to do 7 wins and it will be jackpot :)
I think its worth it. A lot of cards turned out to be much better than they seemed on paper. I thought Karazhan would be the worst adventure (on par with tgt as worst expansion) and i was wrong. Like really a lot of cards are useful/playable.
The Internet is 95% wrong at predicting the usefulness of cards. You really can't judge them until you use them in actual meta and games. Maybe you're just not noticing them but I see Karazhan cards in almost every game now. They are definitely shaping and becoming a part of the meta. Whether you like it or not, the set is a part of Standard for 2 years.
The only 2 cards that I think are really a waste of space ('filler cards') in the set are Pompous Thespian and Moroes. Even the 'Zoo' cards are good for a few memes here and there, and most of the other stuff is good or usable.
I disagree, but I understand some people actually enjoy divine shield paladin decks (I don't). To me Moroes is completely useless, and I would have preferred something else. However, apart from that the set as a whole is pretty good.

Who said you can only use Moroes in divine shield paladin.
It's completely worth it. So many decent cards in the set. None of them seem to really be game breaking, but some of them are really good and others are just plain fun.
Set is definitely worth buying, no matter what classes you like to play; every class got at least 1 useful card. Imo, it's worth buying it just for Barnes (ok, that may be a stretch, but obv there are a LOT more useful ones than just him).
Personally, I would save your gold for the next expansion, but your call. I think either money or gold is worth it for what you get. I am mainly a f2p player, however for LoE and Kara I just spent the $20 since I want to save gold for packs (I don't have enough time to really rack up gold in this game, I only get to play a handful of games a day).

Why people always jumping down my throat trying to convince me he's a good card? I don't agree with you all. He's a waste of a legendary - that's my opinion. At least even Majordomo was good for a few memes, Moroes isn't even a funny card.
in not whort it!! Blizz just improve the hunteard and shamman cancer, there are a lot a fun cards but agaiiiin, the problem in not the cards i just the ladder is full of cancer decks!!!

Or maybe one hand was exaggerating, on two hands is probably closer to the truth
Arcane Giant Medivh, the Guardian Firelands Portal The Curator Moonglade Portal Menagerie Warden Ethereal Peddler Onyx Bishop Barnes Priest of the Feast Cloaked Huntress Silverware Golem Cat Trick Maelstrom Portal Kindly Grandmother Swashburglar.

Worth if you spend $20. Not worth 2800 gold.

The classic tier: Reno Jackson | Elise Starseeker | Brann Bronzebeard.
I don't know about you, but Ive spent $20 on worse things than Karzahan. I'm having fun with the cards and think it's worth it.
Save that gold though.

Love the tribes.

Karazhan is DEFINITELY worth 2800 gold.
Many cards are very good, others have great potential for the future.
And adventure rewards are granted. Packs are random.

My custom cards thread here (53 cards)

Is worth, because:
If you buy 28 packs with 2800 gold, probably you get:
28 Packs x (74~92) dust* = 2296 arcane dust = 1 Legendaria, 1 Epic, 3 Rare, that you can create.
* Calcule average 82 dust
Surelly you get a couple of legendaries of these packs and 5 Epics. The rest, you dusted, so, is better buy Karazhan. Is more cards! Is really Worth!
Nobody. I just don't like him.
