Without a doubt this quest requires a serious nerf.
3 games in a row against rogue. turn 6 max quest is done and how can you deal with 5/5 for 1 mana?
Cmn we all know its op and unfair. Like what the actual hell?
Its the most cancer ive literally ever seen... Most of the time you stood greater chances against pirate warrior.
This is just insanse and ridiculous.
Another archetype which makes meta aggresive as there is no other way to beat this crap other than strict face dmg.
I know its just the beggining of ungoro but i tried paladin and druid. Both failed against everything that is played right now. I aint gonna play broken retartded face decks only to beat rogues which are like 30% of the games i play.
I went vs 1 Rogue Quest Vs My hunter quest. yeah they was able to move fast and it seems a lot more ez then other quest. I still won but yeah them only needing 2 bounce's is not fair. They just 2x a minion plus 6 chances to bounce those minions make it easy...
I dont know.... Maybe we need to wait for more archetypes to come. Maybe meta will canege to so much aggro that this tarded quest wont be possible to be completed.
Just posted this, encountered 3 rogues, they ran out of cards or lost all to shadowflame/taunts. It wasnt easy, but Handlock is really good vs quest rogue
Played against quest rogue as pirate warrior. I'm 6 for 6 on victories. Against quest priest they lost. Against taunt warrior they lost. The deck is technically strong but it is not OP in any way
Aggro beats this most times. My aggro murloc Paladin is 6-2 against it. In both losses the Rogue got all her removal in her first 5 turns (2x knives, 2x backstab, 2x eviscerate).
what makes quest rogue powerful is not the quest ..its the quest working in conjunction with the early aggressive board state ''pirate package'' so you preserve the board state in the early game and just let ur opponent deal with ur minions while ur boucning urs ..thats the main problem imo ... i ran the deck without pirates ..its really inconsistent and its not that op ..still might be wrong
Awaken Quest Priest beats it. I have 6-1 with it, I focus on board control and keep my dragon potions. The quest is good dont get me wrong, however its not op. I played it myself with two different sets and have a 55 win ration.
I'm playing a discard zoolock, non quest, and I'm 5/0 against the rogue quest at r5.
The way to beat the quest is they have to ignore the board to complete the quest so agro or fast decks can flood the and the rogue deck lacks removal in favour of charge and quest combos. So by T5 they are usually so far behind even if they complete the quest they're already dead.
This goes for the recruit/buff deck I've been testing. It also does insanely well Vs thus quest.
I've gone many games to only complete quest on turn 7-8. Needless to sa it was already over for me by then. I think you were just unlucky and are also still trying to figure out how to play in this meta, as are all of us.

yeee great aggro but i hate aggro decks. Tactic whici involves praying on having 1 drop into 2 drop into 3 drop... If failed. You lose. Midrange and control only sorry ;P
I'm considering running it in non-Quest Rogue just because a combo activator that's always going to be in my hand sounds super tempting. Plus it makes them panic and try to rush me down.
It reminds me of Miracle. The burst damage is 99.99% fatal but requires LOTS of setup and digging.
Granted, Miracle was way more hard to set up than playing 4 minions, but the game plan is essentially the same: survive until you can burst lethal; if it fails in a burst, you lose.
It's very powerful, but I doubt it will remain a meta dominator throughout. With that though, I could definitely see Blizzard nerfing this to 6 minions in response to the outcry.

Aggro decks will come next week and eat this Quest Rogue at breakfast.
My magic will tear you apart!
I agree, I haven't been able to beat quest rogue with other than my agressive decks.

And it was the most downvoted Quest in hearthpwn! xD
It's very good indeed. Not OP tho. Ofc, if you fight with your own strategy and deck, Questing Rogue might hardcounter you. But it's not invulnerable.

Yee okay.... But you know. Not everyone enjoys playing aggro decks. So im just hoping there will be a better solution.

You don't say it's broken. Too bad it will take xxxx months for those lazy pricks to fix it. Disgusting!
It's really not. Control the board and win. I've faced it close to 10 times, and it hasn't won once.
