Get rid of the regulars and keep the golden. Even if your not into collecting goldens, Ysera is great because all the cards she summons, are also golden. Kinda like a golden Thoughtsteal, everything you steal with it becomes golden.
Use this deck as a base if you have the core cards like Reincarnate and Ancestral Spirit and Baron Rivendare give it a try, everything else can be subbed around. You can do some truly amazing things with it, like 6x Thaddius, or 3x Kel'Thuzad that brings back 1 minion 3 times when it dies or more >.> It's absolutely a blast to play, fairly easy, and can get a 55-60% win rate. Forgot to put Sylvanas Windrunner in so if you have her put her in for sure, anything with a death-rattle.
You can also do something similar in Hunter with Feign Death.
Heres one I played with a few weeks ago just messing around. It's not great, but is different and fun. It either steam rolls them or falls kinda flat, but should average a 50% or better. Hobgoblining Acolytes/Clerics/Unstables is great card draw and does a lot of damage, along with Velens Chosen when you can't Hobgoblin. With some slightly more accessible cards. Feel free to switch out the Unstables for Demolishers/Imp Masters/Echoing Oozes or Stoneskin Gargoyles. Echoing and Gargoyles can really do some work when buffed. More or less gimmicky though.
Look for Kripparrian's decks on YouTube I really like his priest Gazlow deck and his paladin pirate deck Also Noxious has a couple of fun deck (he is known for playing Randuin :) ). Right now I'm playing his druid dragon deck.
Also, I'm playing a "custom" version of Shattered Shadows priest (priest with Malygos, Velen, and Shadowform)
I have to concur on the Pirate Paladin, it's actually semi-viable and very interesting. Gazlow Priest works well also, look for Kripp's version I've used it to decent success in S10, somewhere around rank 5.
Mech Mage is THE Mech deck out there. The synergy in this deck is just perfect and cannot be really any better. Perfect mana curve, perfect synergy. I do not like to play this deck so much, since it gets overused by so many people, but one cannot deny that this deck is one of the strongest right now.
Pretty much this... MechMage while easy to play and kinda boring/overused to the point it's not as strong as it used to be. It also has probably the most synergies going for it. Between all the mech to mech synergies, you have freeze minions to stop heros from using weapons, secrets, and of course... spare parts for Mana Wyrms and Antonidas.
This is my thread with a program I wrote to calculate all ranks and how many wins it takes based off an average win%, 200 is a bit high, check the thread if your interested.
From 5- Legend, about 172 games at a 55% win-rate, which is what a FaceHunter probably does, 10 mins a game comes out to about 29 hours of play time.
What do you mean Meta is not good for Warrior? Control Warrior is viable/strong as ever... (If you have another type in mind then they haven't really been viable in many months)
Any class/deck could reach legend in 3 days, it's just how many hours of those 3 days are you willing to spend trying to get it? Expect to put in 20-30ish hours to go from 5 to Legend, it's up to you to pick a deck you know you're good with and do it.
The way you say it sounds like you just want an easy deck to take you to Legend with no effort and little time. There really isn't one. With your mentality it is probably best just to wait and start fresh next season. Plus with BRM the meta will change a bit and you may find a new deck that fits your playstyle and you like.
All cards in HearthStone draw inspiration in some form or another from Warcraft Lore. In World Of Warcraft the Harvest Golem is a mechanical golem for the use of harvesting fields of wheat/hops etc. Basically a smaller version of the Foe Reaper. That should be the sufficient answer you are looking for?
If all you can play is FaceHunter, and can't even mulligan for that properly, I doubt any other class would be easy enough for you beside maybe MechMage. Probably best to stick with the faceroll classes. Not to mention the time constraint that may be your only option regardless. To go from 5 to Legend in 3 days you will need to fit over 200 games in that small time frame
That deck in the right hands could go 7 wins (maybe more). So many good synergies and removal spells, the only problem is the awful lack of early game and lack of card draw, but assuming you could hold board control to turn 5ish, you should have the games easy. Too many high cost minions and spells, I assume since you went 5-3 you lost more of your games due to losing early game board control?
Edit: To use the /deck tags properly you need to go into the deck builder, build the deck, save it, then put the deck number on the right in between the [deck][/deck] tags.
You're right too much tech is bad. Take your deck and make a list of all the common decks its good, average, and bad against. Then see about how often you face each of those decks. Take the most popular ones from average and tech to win those, usually 2-3 deck types that certain cards are beneficial in both.
If your deck is pretty much guaranteed a loss like Priest vs Handlock, there is no reason to tech for that when you could tech for a deck thats a close toss up, and have a better chance in the end.
Best advice use a stat tracking app if you want to get serious about things. I can't get any more specific without knowing... well, the specifics. Hope this helps a bit. For a more solid number, I would guess a total of 2, maybe 3 tech cards per deck (varies depending on deck).
Man last time I Thoughtstole Jaxx I got sacrificial pact'ed.. Didn't expect a warlock to even run that (this was pre-GvG though).
The reason Priests have to steal stuff is to make up for their very hit or miss card draw. I mean, first you have to draw into an Cleric, get it to stick, have the board in a state you can heal, have mana to heal yet not lose board control, and numerous other factors. It's not super reliable card draw, so have to make up for it by using your opponents minions/cards. None the less I do love the Cleric and the planning to make it work.
Rogue > Demon > Priest, currently in overall terms and ONLY in my OPINION, they all have their strengths and weaknesses though. But all of them are capable of it, and I find Rogue and Priest the most enjoyable.
I would like it, but I really can't see it happening. At least anytime in the near future...
Does anyone remember all the whine threads about having to pre-order to get the card back in a F2P game. "Oh I can can't complete my collection now that it's not a true free to play game but I am a hard core collector that doesn't want to spend any money >.>"
OR "Blizzard is such a greedy company it's a F2P game but they want to scam us out of all our money"
I do! But cosmetic non F2P addons would cause an even bigger pity-party.

Or this deck I made, the goal was to make the most annoying deck to play against, Priest was the obvious choice:
And this one, a Fel Reaver/Silence/Taunt Priest. Works decent but not as good as I thought it might:

Try a Ramp/Taunt Druid with Recombobulate.
Or a Mech Priest,
Or a Reincarnate mid-range shaman.
